Chioma is not beastly as some people tend to paint her to be on GUS, I watch that GUS and I personally dont see anything wrong in her actions. She was being a real person who couldnt close a blind eye to the nonsense Emeka and Muma Gee were doing.Emeka and Muma G lost face with me since then. Chioma might have over reacted but she was right as a responsible woman in her disgust with the shameless two, and one of them was even married.Let stop judging her base on her appearance in GUS. In person, Chioma is a down to earth person abeg.

As for Mercy, she shouldn't even be on that list. She is too provocative in movies, almost nude and has no shame. she is always trying to seduce men in her movies. I cant stand movies where she is trying to act as a classy babe, she over interpret the role and is fake. She needs to take lesson about class from Rita and Omotola. She does much better in movies like "Dumebi the dirty girl". Her acting in such movies impress me. She should stick to them.

Soo True OP. I live in Canada presently and I discovered I had to improve on my accent so the people here can understand what I am saying. I discovered this while living in Europe before moving here. Some people think it about form but its got nothing to do with that... at least for me.When am with my Nigeria people,of course I switch back, its natural and my hubby marvels how my accent changes based on who am talking to. Mind you he is Canadain. If I didnt work on my accent, he wont understand me well. Now he even understands my pidgin grin

The tribalist are at it again. They never waste time condemning the Yoruba women. What a shame on some of you. Am proud to be a Yoruba woman, and I have never cheated on my husband since I met him. He is Igbo and due to the closeness of he and his sibling, barely anything happens in our home without his sibling knowing about it and at times it hurts me that we have no privacy as a couple.I never attribute this character to him being igbo and I do know several Igbo women around me here that cheat on their husbands. Soo long as their financial needs are met. So please stop running your mouths attributing faults to a particular tribe. Some people really need to grow, Naiaraland comments are becoming soo predictable when it comes to tribe. I wonder where we are heading to with all these crap.

Having lived and worked in south africa, am pretty sure the parpretators of this crime are black south africans. they cant stand stand other african especially nigerians. Am, sure it has nothing to do with the whites being racist against nigerians. Working there, the blacks never fail to tell us how much how much they hated us(forieners). they always feel threatened by nigerians cause we were mostly professionals and they do the low end job. though i do know some nigerians are also into drugs there. I had to leave after my work there. On the contrary, the whites prefered relating with blacks from other african countries. the whites have also lost out in south africa due to the present government. the police force is made up of black majority and a lot of nigerians have lost their lives to them.

Some peoples cant understand how God works in Shiloh or the principle of sacrificial giving. I pray one day God will open their understanding that we are not foolishly giving our savings to Shiloh but sowing fruitfully with faith into our lives. Am proud to say I grew up in winners Chapel and there is a Living true God at work in Shiloh. I was opportuned to attend Shiloh 2006 with few girlfriends of mine. We had several testimonies individually. While there one of our friends who was in her late 30s with marital disappointments, got a call from Shiloh that an old friend of hers who had broken up with her years back. He was back at her home with her parents to ask for her hand in marriage. The guy came all the way from the states ready to marry her. We were with her when her family called her. It was almost difficult to believe but was true. A friend who was barren got pregnant after Shiloh and I pray to God that I wanted to travel out of the county before my passport expires the next year 2007. By the end of January 2007, God miraculously did and I travel abroad for my 2nd degree. When I prayed that prayer lifting my passport up at Shiloh 2006, I didnt even have idea of where I wanted to travel to yet. I just visited my mum in the north after Shiloh and she suggested I go to Europe for a second degree.Visa and fees restlessly provided.

I came back after my studies and attend Shiloh 2010, asking God to make me fruitful in various areas of my life. in 2011, Through my career, I was invited from Nigeria to teach at the film school in Canada where I didnt know a soul except my professional contacts. I got to Canada in August 2011. A year later, I am happily married with a daughter here in Canada. I never planed my life. The living God did that and ordered my footstep. This are just few of the testimonies of what God is doing in my life. Mind you, I also was faithful in my service to God even when difficulties arose especially in 2011. What you believe in works for you and I believe there is a God who answers his children's prayer in Shiloh. I also made sure I paid my vows.

Family / Re: Relating With In-Laws From A Different Tribe by linclon(f): 9:04am On Nov 06, 2012
Am much as sometimes we don't want to attach tribal differences to our marital issues, it still tends to play some factors in some marital issues. Am not saying here that marriage to the same tribe is problem proof aswell, just that one gets judge by others at times based on their tribe and this affects the growth of some inter tribal marriages. Am also a yoruba lady and my partner is ibo, though my partner and his sibling know little of Nigeria or even speak the dialect, the fact that he is originally from the east is creating problems in our home presently.
Recently she visited us and from the moment his mum discovered I am yoruba, she always complain about one thing or the other about yoruba people even to the other "foreign wife" in the family. She doesnt even want to call our daughter by her English or Yoruba name which I and my partner named her. She insist our daughter be called by her Ibo name. I almost ask her what issues she has with Yoruba people even though she spent all her life in the village.
While she stayed with us,I took good care of her, took her shopping with my own earned money, made her hair for her, and my partner who doesn't really bother much with her at times had to appreciate me which she also did once in a while. We gradually developed a good relationship since we were the only real Nigeria people in the family as I grew up in Nigeria. When my partner decide she should go back, I was not too happy as she was for the sudden return to Nigeria and I tried seeing if we could extend her visa.
I am just soo shock with her recent attitude when she was leaving and I and my partner talked about her going to see my people for family introductions she started making up some stories about igbo traditions versus yoruba traditions which never existed during her visit when she was enjoying my hospitality. We were a happy home before she came and we were planning to visit Nigeria for our traditional marriage since we met abroad. Now she has gone back, she caused problems in our home and she put our future plans together on shelf. She made up stories and presently, I and my partner are still not on good terms. What kind of a mum will derive joy from wrecking her son's home?
I am soo disappointed with her that after I empathized with her as a mother when she told me how her children rarely visit her in Nigeria, and I made up my mind to convince her children to visit her in Nigeria more often, my partner rarely calls her when she is in Nigeria and I was planning to constantly keep in touch with her but with what she just did, she just lost her support from me.

If I had been an igbo lady with the worst attitude would she have wrecked my home before going back after enjoying her stay? my guess is NO.

Nope, u don't need to get it certified, just go to alagbon police station Obalende, if u lives in Lagos. The prize if 5k-8k

I had someone do the PCC for me at alagbon then couriered to me here in Canada. Not sure if I can mail it to Canadian immigration with my other documents or I have to certify it first at the Nigerian embassy here.

Romance / Re: I Am A Single Mum. Can I Still Find True Love? by linclon(f): 5:20pm On Apr 07, 2012
There is no need for some pple to keep making nasty tribal comments.(Whats an Ibo lady doing with a Yoruba guy) some people really need to grow. Its an issue of the values of the persons involved. I got a good number of Igbo in law in my family especially the ladies and I know girls who want to date Yoruba guys for certain reason. Yoruba girls married to Igbo guys also have their own cultural palava. We have to deal with our issues maturely and ask for God's help.

Form the story, I think there is more to this story than what we are reading. On a final note, As a lady when getting married, you have to be careful the kind of family you marrying into. Polygamous background can work for some (marital values differ to some) but you have to be sure about the man you saying YES to and not just be desperate to become a MRS, and issue becoming of Nigerian ladies recently.
Politics / Re: Has Tribalism On Nairaland Affected You Negatively? by linclon(f): 9:34pm On Mar 21, 2012
I have been an keen observer on nairaland for quite a while and rarely comment on posts even when am soo tempted to do so. Am here basically to update my self on stuffs happening in Naija, but recently I must say I dont fancy the trend nairaland is turning. There are lots of tribalist threads and comments, its soo bad that there are nairalanders that I can predict will always have tribalist comments especially among the yorubas and the igbos. Its really disheartening. I have spent lots of time in different parts of naija and appreciate the people I met there, why are some nairalanders soo tribalist, I may sound like a tribalist to some people now but the igbo tribalists on nairaland are always quick to run down other tribes, even with the threads they start. Must you start a tribalist thread? When a tribalist thread is started, some people cant help but to respond in defense of their tribe and then the cycle continues.
All tribes have good and bad people, please stop destroying nairaland and turning tribes against each other.I also think the tribalism on nairaland is way too exaggerated. In Naija and abroad, I have awesome friends from my tribe and other tribes. I see people getting along well in naija despite their tribal differences.

I have date guys from my tribe and other tribes while in Naija cos I dont judge people by their tribe but by the quality of their personality. I am proud to be a Yoruba lady and engaged to an Igbo man, we expecting our baby soon. To both of us, been Nigerians in foriegn land has only made us more unified despite coming from two different tribes. Our family both in Naija and abroad are not at 'each others throat" cos one family is yoruba and the other tribe is igbo. I have both yoruba, igbo and hausa inlaws in my immediate family. It only makes it more fun when we have family events.

So to the posters question, No, tribalism on nairaland has not affected my relationship with other tribes negatively, Still love my hausa Muslim friends,(despite boko haram) my igbo hubby and friends however, naiaraland tribalist threads and comments are disheartening and should be discouraged. it could affect some people's view and add more to the negative image of Nigerians in the international community.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I do understand the basics of animation, the keyframing and Inverse kinematics. Its just that my character animation is not smooth and when I give it a cycle with offset. The result isnt impressive.

I do know how to rig, but the paint skin weights is still a problem for me.

I need go tutorials to help with advance character animation.
