I have been making check on schools in canada for undergraduate programm in Electrical engineering and I have decided to make my application tomorrow which is Monday,I have checked all necessary things and everything seems 2 b ok but I need to throw this issue to d house calling on yall home and abroad (Delta,ezinwann,aydewale, )Everybody should comment pls.

@ACCA 247 i don't know how this will sound to you but all i do know is that if you are sponsoring yourself, you need to prove to them that you actually earned that money, remember whatever proof you provide make sure its well arranged so it wont boomerang when they verify, i mean your bank statement it must have a good banking history to my best of knowledge 5million naira should be your minimum depending on how long your going to be staying in Canada if you are into business don't use your company's account it will be wise to use a personal account. cos when i applied i used a relatives account whom i claimed was my dad cos we had the same surname i didn't present much just his international passport and tax card, so you also need to make your documents look genuine anything in your application that you think will cause doubt should be remove, dont mind if its original or fake but the 3 most important things are 1. your Admission letter 2. proof that you have strong ties with your country 3. A good Statement of Account with traceable history of at least 6months but i will advice more if you don't mind cos they will not miss to verify that they might overlook other documents but not that, well to hear from you after your Application

@ayoalade it seem you ve been here for quite a long time well am quite new here in Toronto and getting enough of it already so am also looking into relocating a friend of mine asked to head for Alberta because it has numerous opportunity and sparsely populated compared to Toronto and Nova Scotia too, i learnt that from a Jamaican friend here. so if i may ask you where do you advice me to head for??

well toronto schools are expensive so is everything here too if you can handle it well then keep it up but you must be prepared, cos i wasnt and i went broke in three weeks remember your not going to be spending naira

if you are applying for any schools in canada i wont advice anyone to head for toronto

anybody in toronto here or needs info hit me up

1. Did you pay any tuition before getting your visa or did they tell you to show confirmation while your package is still in progress ?
2.Did you get your visa through any agent?like Maple?

hello guys am back and i got my visa after waiting for so long men i feel like am the happiest man on earth and to tell you the truth its like a miracle, cos after going through all the documents some people who made it submitted i thought that i was never going to make it but as of yesterday evening when i got home meeeeeeeeeeen i saw my package,, first i was scared but i later made up my mind well to God be the glory i have my visa and i still say its a miracle,
i will also use this opportunity to thank those who were on my side those great pals encouraging me all these while you know yourselves thank you so much, besides i will be heading for Toronto anyone there and i do have a lil issue with booking tickets and getting an apartment to rent any suggestions plssss i will be glad to hear from you guy, and you can ask me anything you want and i will be glad to answer

hello nairalanders i have been following this thread for like 3months but now am forced to register and ask questions
cos i do not know how to handle this myself pls i also made a student visa application and i have been called up for medical examination, and its almost 4 weeks since i did my medicals.
i do see people who obtain their permit after two weeks after their medical examination, i really don't know what could have kept mine with them for so long, can anybody in the house offer me any advice on this, cos i was thinking of writing them to know what the problem is and besides its getting late pls any advice house
