Politics / Re: What Is Your Definition Of Development? by Masiya(m): 7:18am On May 15, 2013
First and famous, people often use growth in place development. Growth is mere increase in per capita income. Growth is lopsided such that other sectors may be neglected. This increase in per per capita income may not be sustain for a longer period of time. But development on the other hand, is all embracing; DEVELOPMENT is a sustainable growth(improvement) in all spheres of life, with a trickle down effect on the standard of living of the people. We can not be talking of development when larger portion of the population are wallowing in object poverty, the youths can not find a place to work, people go to overseas for medical checkup, most of the major roads in the country are not in good shape, corruption is the order of the day etcetra....

Jokes Etc / Re: World Leaders Explains Why The Chicken Crossed The Road by Masiya(m): 5:29pm On Apr 28, 2013
dani1luv: Simple Question: “Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?”

GEORGE W BUSH:
We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road or not.
The chicken is either against us or for us.
There is no middle ground here.

BILL GATES:
I have just witnessed eChicken2012 which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your checkbook; internet explorer is an integral part of eChicken.

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR:
I have a dream... and envision a world where all chickens will be free to cross roads without having their motives called into question.

GEJ:
I guess it's a manifestation of our transformation agenda for fresh air. Meanwhile, we'll set up a committee to look into that and probably grant the chicken amnesty.

PATIENCE JONATHAN
u see,i don't knew why the chicken wil behaviourance like that, the only things i can said is that the chicken can be an prostitute

GANI:
Why wont the chicken cross the road? When there is no light in her house. No fuel in her car!No food in her stomach! No job to do! Armed robbers are after her eggs, the schools are closed,..... ....why wont it cross to the other side?

HON PATRIC OBAHIAGBON:
The question strikes to mind a perpendicularit y of oblivious occurrences. The rationale for the crawling species of the hen folk for advancing across the Broadway to the obvious greener side, portray a phantasmagoric allegory in my homosapious mind, that there is a reason. The metaphoric proposition may be that it is going to cast its vote for Fresh Democratic Party and hence justifying it subconscious mind that she has done her civil biddings.

Nscdc lagos chairman
The reason the chicken crossed the road is only going to remain known by one person, I cannot categorically tell you the reason why the chicken crossed the road now and only my oga at the top knows...ehmm... thats all

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Had A Killer Squad As President -- Former Associate by Masiya(m): 12:55pm On Apr 21, 2013
50calibre: This Is quite sad, and we claim to have a democracy. Although when I rise to power, I plan to kill much more people (corrupt people hindering Nigeria from progressing) I am going to have a highly trained hit-squad like hitler's secret police The Gestapo.

I have already started compiling the list of guys I plan to terminate. Nigeria needs a radical to clean it up and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Politics / Re: Boko-Haram Kills WAEC Students And Principal In Borno by Masiya(m): 2:01pm On Apr 14, 2013
Empex: This is too bad, the killings by Mohammed Shekau and his acolytes are crimes against humanity. We need to see Islamic cleric clearly come out and dissociate themselves from this depravity as it is smearing a bad name to all Muslims in the country. Rather than the Arewa elders clamouring for ludicrous amnesty on these barefaced monsters, they should be asking for justice on the thousands of Nigerians including many Arewa youths whose lives had been robbed off them at their prime. Hundreds of security personnel, many of northern extraction have paid the ultimate price for this country while fighting these cold hearted beasts. Rather than ensuring that the death of these lot are not in vain, they are making inexcusable request. I pity Nigeria as we are faced with a bleak future if our affairs are being runned by these hapless elites and so called superintendents of the country. Sad to know that we now have Jonathan controlled Nigeria and Shekau controlled Nigeria, smh. May the souls of these students rest in peace with the Almighty.

Much as i know, there are no two people that are same. It is high time we stop critisizing the north, rather we should focus on refurbishing the gray areas that has continue to bedevilled our progress as country. Such as curruption, insecurity, unemployment and so on and so forth. As far as i am concern, who ever can deliver us from these shackles is welcome.
Politics / Re: Lamido-Amaechi Campaign Posters Flood Ibadan by Masiya(m): 11:58am On Apr 14, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: I'm not a bigot but the question that readily comes to mind when one reads this type of report is WHY NOT Amaechi-Lamido ticket? Must the south always serve under the north?

Who failed to build new power plants, transmission facilities or expand the distribution networks in the last 3 decades? Who failed to add new networks of roads in the last 2 decades? Who presided over the dilapidation of existing road networks? Who presided over the deterioration of the basic and tertiary education system? Who presided over the decayed rail transport system? Who created the enabling environment for corruption to grow astronomically? Who forcefully seized the missionary schools? Who converted Nigeria to a nation solely dependent on oil? Who presided over the astronomical rise in unemployment rate?

Can the people from the same ethnic group that is mostly responsible for these problems be trusted to solve them?
