Computers / Re: Can't Find Run On My Start Menu Again by MsEbz(f): 12:12pm On Oct 19, 2007
I'm having the same issues, I can't see run or my turn off the computer icon on my startup menu and when I ctrl+alt+del it says it's restricted or something but I'm the admin and bitdefender doesn't read any viruses.
Politics / Re: Barrack Obara by MsEbz(f): 12:59pm On Jul 28, 2007
I'm not giving my vote to someone just because he's part black, that'd be a waste of my vote.
Politics / Re: Polls Shows Hillary Clinton With Solid Lead by MsEbz(f): 12:57pm On Jul 28, 2007

Religion / Re: Are Gays Really Sinners? by MsEbz(f): 12:53pm On Jul 28, 2007
I'm not big on the concept of what's a sin and also if you like the same sex or the opposite sex so what.
Religion / Re: What Is Hell Like? by MsEbz(f): 12:51pm On Jul 28, 2007
There probably isn't a hell but if I had to take a guess on what one would be like, really hot.
Religion / Re: Christians: Can a Non-Christian Go to Heaven? by MsEbz(f): 12:51pm On Jul 28, 2007
If there is a heaven most Christians might not even get in.

Anyway I voted I'm not Christian.
Religion / Re: Is Jesus Christ God? by MsEbz(f): 12:50pm On Jul 28, 2007
There's been speculation Jesus never even existed.
Religion / Re: What Makes You Think The Bible Contradicts Itself by MsEbz(f): 12:47pm On Jul 28, 2007
Only an ignorant person will say the bible never contradicts, this site http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/ is a good place to start, I can't believe some people would have the nerve to say it doesn't when human men created the bible and since it's creation by men it's had several versions.
Religion / Re: Is Bible The Word of God? by MsEbz(f): 12:44pm On Jul 28, 2007
The bible isn't EONS old for one lmfao, two there hasn't been any evidence for a god of any kind let alone the Christian God and the bible has like at least 20 different versions maybe more of the bible and bit and pieces are put in and taken out in each one or re-written a different way and it was written originally by human men and it's humans who continue to remove, add in and re-write.
Religion / Re: I Do Not Believe in God by MsEbz(f): 12:40pm On Jul 28, 2007
wow mysummerro has had 3 posts since 2005 but this has a lot of pages, well if you come back
To me I mean depending on which God is actually real you could be going to various not so nice placing if you're doubting one of them whomever could be real or not, take your pick. There are thousands of gods people have worshiped for like thousands of years.
Religion / Re: Can You Attend A Church Led By A Woman? by MsEbz(f): 12:37pm On Jul 28, 2007
I don't plan on setting foot into a church unless it's a Christian friend or family member or something's wedding or funeral but in the different churches I did attend there were female pastors and some had male pastors. If you have a problem with a female pastor and you're a woman then you've been brainwashed and if you're a man who has a problem with it I say get over it because whose to say having a penis makes you more competent or a better person? If you think women should be led please get a clue because we're not dogs and not all men are smart or capable.
Religion / Re: Pre-Marital Sex Is Not Fornication by MsEbz(f): 12:31pm On Jul 28, 2007
Fornication has religious undertones so to me pre-marital sex isn't fornication, I don't fornicate, I have sex. I hate the word fornicate, it makes you sound like a dirty h to the o or dirty person. I'm 21 and far from a virgin, not a ho and not a fornicator but I'm sexually active, I keep safe and don't really sleep around and i'm fine with what I do, I'm not married, never have been and might not get married for a few years if I decide I want to.

Fornicator sounds like someone who humps anyone w/o discrimination.
Religion / Re: Every Single African Should Read This: by MsEbz(f): 12:27pm On Jul 28, 2007
Not just Africans but pretty much anyone should read this.
Family / Re: Terminating A Six Month Pregnancy by MsEbz(f): 12:25pm On Jul 28, 2007
I hope no religious nuts got into this girl's mind, Abortion isn't murder at least not before 24-25 weeks.

I'm interested to know if she got the abortion or if she kept the pregnancy.
Family / Re: What If I Don't Want Children? by MsEbz(f): 12:20pm On Jul 28, 2007
I didn't want kids AT ALL until 3 yrs. ago exactly. I until then despised children and didn't like them around me, heck even too much of their laughter made me crazy. A one size fits all mentality is definitely a big factor in most people's problems in society, too meant people want EVERYONE else to live how they think is right. Maybe since most people are capable of having children some may feel why not have 1 or 2 or more, I'm still feeling new to the idea of wanting kids. I'm not even sure I feel I have to be married ever lol.
Family / Re: Would You Let Your Spouse Change You? by MsEbz(f): 12:15pm On Jul 28, 2007
Well seeing as though I don't think anything is seriously wrong with me um heck to the no I won't change to please my bf's or husband's family. I don't want a weak man whose partnership in OUR relationship is run by his family, it shows he has no spine, or guts or brain of his own. I don't mind a bit of compromise but trying to change who I am or fake it to please people no, I'd rather be disliked for what I am than loved for being what I'm not.
Family / Re: How Many Are U In Your Family? by MsEbz(f): 12:12pm On Jul 28, 2007
In my home I had a brother and sister, on my biological father's side I had 4 other brother and 3 other sisters.
Family / Re: What's your Ideal Family Size? by MsEbz(f): 12:11pm On Jul 28, 2007
My ideal family size is no more than 3 kids and of course the dad but no less than 1 child, i'm from a family with 2 other siblings, half the time I enjoyed them and half the time I don't.
Family / Re: If Your Husband or Wife is Found to be HIV-Positive by MsEbz(f): 12:09pm On Jul 28, 2007
If I got married and he tested positive for HIV I'd probably kill him to be honest at the least beat him close to death, he either was stupid using drugs or was cheating and on top of that could've given it to me, I wouldn't be rational that's for sure.
Politics / Re: Stop Bashing Oprah Winfrey She Is Innocent by MsEbz(f): 12:02pm On Jul 28, 2007
Whether she said all of this or not, I've never been big on Oprah like at all.
Religion / Re: The Truth Most Christians Dont Know by MsEbz(f): 11:57am On Jul 28, 2007
How about you take the rest of it like 5:2 and 5:3 and well to 5:5 at least, it seems odd just to use that part and interpret that as you being sinless -_o, and it seems to differ depending on what version of the bible you take it from.

Smh.
Religion / Re: Are You A Christian If You Don't Believe Every Bible Story? by MsEbz(f): 11:44am On Jul 28, 2007
Well many other Christian groups or other Christians are always trying to tell other Christian groups or individuals what is a true Christian, I don't think there is one.

Even:

If you don't believe the earth was created in seven days;
If you don't believe Jesus literally rose from the dead;
If you don't genuinely believe that an omniscient God implanteda divine foetus in the womb of a virgin human woman,

you can still be a Christian or call yourself one w/e works.
Family / Re: An Arranged Marriage: Is It Right? by MsEbz(f): 11:40am On Jul 28, 2007
I'm in between they aren't for me and they can work out just fine for some people but I'm not big on anyone getting married under 21.
Culture / Re: Disconnected From The Mother Land by MsEbz(f): 11:36am On Jul 28, 2007
We have a little differing African History then, I was definitely told the first were bought to somewhere in VA. NGC (National Geographic Channel) is trash to me as to how it always shows Africans in general and the history on cultures like Egypt, etc. that it gives, it's like they want us to think they are all dark and walk around dirty and naked. I've always wanted to connect with the heritage I never knew that is somewhere in Africa. I'm one of the few Black Americans I know that that feel this way, I hear too many say ewww I'm never going to Africa, I dunno what I'ma catch over there, they prolly stink, and crap like that.
Culture / Re: Female Circumcision: what's wrong with it? by MsEbz(f): 11:29am On Jul 28, 2007
Everything is wrong with it, it's maiming someone's precious genitals period no matter what reasons or w/e, it makes it seem like their is something wrong with female sexuality or pleasure for a woman, female circumcision is selfish and worse than barbaric. I don't even know where to begin, it makes no sense as to why anyone would think it's okay, it's sick
Culture / Re: How To Make Your Childrens African. by MsEbz(f): 11:21am On Jul 28, 2007
I'd love to do some ancestral tracing or w/e one day soon but as of now where my folks originated from in Africa I dunno but I will find out so I can I guess gain back what was directly and indirectly stolen from me as a Black American.
Family / Re: Why Is The Man The Head Of The Family? by MsEbz(f): 11:17am On Jul 28, 2007
Godsgirl I'm an agnostic atheist so though I have a total problem with your response I think I'll pass on talking to myself, I mean God. smiley
Family / Re: Why Is The Man The Head Of The Family? by MsEbz(f): 11:15am On Jul 28, 2007
Usually religion is the reason for a the general acceptance anyways of a man being head of the family. Depending on culture and country or whatnot it's not unusual for mom or grandma or w/e to be running things.

Some women accept men being a head of household, some don't. I'm not a scientist yet but I'm a Forensic Science major and about to be in my 4th yr and i'm not so inclined to ask why are men USUALLY the head of house but w/e. My home is different to maybe some folks on here, my mother is the head of our house. Men tend to be stronger and bigger than women but I don't think that's usually the reason why but if you're abusive then being bigger and stronger helps. I don't think men are better leaders just because they're lol I don't even want to get started on that. This is a pretty partiarchal world we live in, it's not a conspiracy that women are kept under or whatnot, if you're in power or used to being in power I mean why give someone else the leg up and you don't have to or need to?

The question of Perhaps it because women would rather not lead doesn't really make sense lol. What women do you speak of specifically when you are are women afraid of being ultimately responsible for the home. There are plenty of stay at home moms who are SOLELY responsible for taking care of the house and kids and w/e else and in that sense they run the household and like I said my mother and a lot of women I know have the most say-so in their homes. When I have my own home and family I admit I like getting my way but if I do get married or just live long-term or whatnot with the man I love then I'll run the house with him but not behind him, and that has nada to do with gender, I just don't like being ordered around lol.

You asking why is the man the head of the family is already assuming that the audience you're asking/speaking already thinks or well knows even that the man is the head of house and by house I mean family too. It's 2007 now and it was 2005 when you made this post and well um not trying to think you've lived under a rock but many women have always had leadership in their home, no need to clamor for it. There ARE women (some wives even) that are the head of the family, see I'm not a total jerk so I won't be calling my husband and kids my subordinates, my house won't be the military or something. Women being head of family an abomination absolutely not, same for a man, it's who is the most capable whether they have a penis or vagina, I've never known someone to be only competent because of what was in their pants or skirt or shorts or w/e.

Culture / Re: Marrying Any Black Woman Is A Big Responsibilty! by MsEbz(f): 10:51am On Jul 28, 2007
I'll refrain from losing my mind and getting an early ban and being on of those supposedly typical Black women Sweet T is referring too -_-

So how did you come to this ridiculous conclusion hun? I've never shot anyone nor have I known of any other friends or family members to shoot someone except an older 2nd cousin who shot her husband after he almost beat her to death which I think is a good reason you know saving you life and all. Women just like men are different, you have your good and bad in both genders, races, ethnicities, etc. And I know a handful of white people but I've never known the woman to go out of the way to mend the relationship when it's over. See how you talk is one reason why some black women say eff it when it comes to some black American men, as much crap as some talk or think of us and think they'll find a sweet little gold mine in a white or non-black woman, it's ridiculous and you my dude have issues.

I don't go out of my way to give someone payback when I've broken up with someone for w/e reason EVER, I'm not that type of person, you love the black sisters? No you don't. You don't sound like you love yourself too much.

Culture / Re: Accent That Fascinates Or Annoys You? by MsEbz(f): 10:42am On Jul 28, 2007
To me it doesn't matter what region of a country or w/e country you are from, if it's too thick to where even if you speak at a normal or slow pace and I can't understand or it just hurts my ears it's annoying, but most annoying are really thick australian or british or boston or NYC or Baltimore, MD accents.
