i think anyone who watched the debate today saw the difference between femi pedro and the others.

agbaje, im sorry to say, was floored by pedro multiple times. LOL @ jimi attempting to fire cheap shots at pedro. sadly for him, they backfired,

destiny beckons!

femilangy, kitaun, llcoolg, there is still time to defect to labour party, i hear they are still receiving candidates grin grin grin grin grin

I watched it and disagree that Femi Pedro floored Agbaje,

femilangy:

grin grin grin grin this dayokanu boy no go kill me. grin grin grin grin grin u say koro dey paraga joint ROFLMAO oh my God u are a jester.

anyway u already heard the reason koro opted out of the debate.now let me ask u a question in 1999 falae and obasanjo were meant to debate and obj decided not to go for watever reasons he has.did it stop baba obj from becoming presido?oh boy all this one wey una dey do na format, who go win go win.how many market women ar danfo drivers or agberos will watch that debate?all u hear from them is KO SI KORO KO SIBO grin grin grin grin grin

its just u and me that will want to listen to debates like that.anyway i still stand by my words AC is a failed party and PDP is taking over in may.we want to teach them opposition how its done grin grin grin grin grin grin grin.

take heart dayo kanu,is fashola your uncle?don't worry koro will appoint him attoney general since u na no want make we hear word because the man na SAN.
grin grin grin grin grin grin

There is a difference of seven years between 1999 and 2007,if Koro thinks because OBJ won then without attending  the debate, the same thing will happen to him he don miss am big time, agreed not everyone will watch the debate but there are a few who will watch and might change their minds about who to vote for based on what they hear, then Koro saying he didn't attend because it was staged managed by Lagos state is so filmsy i can't laugh enough, so does he mean the other two aspirants and the four today where all acting on lagos states orders,  I beg Koro should wake up and stop fooling around.
Politics / Re: Lagos Governorship Debate: Why Was Koro Absent? by Nijababe: 7:29pm On Mar 17, 2007
Check this out, grin

'However, Obanikoro said in a statement signed by Femi Carena, the Director of Media of Obanikoro Campaign Organisation, that he would only participate in sincere and transparent debates and not stage-managed ones.

Explaining why he wasn’t part of the LTV/Skye Bank debate, Obanikoro said he boycotted the live debate because he was aware like everybody else that it was put together by the Lagos State-owned television station and Skye Bank, in which the state has substantial shares.'

streetcyph:

@dayokanu i was at the AC rally myself. reports of tinubu being attacked were exaggerated. people in the crowd started fighting (which always happesn when thugs get together) over money or so.

it amazes me how all of a sudden, all these candidates want to "out-victim" themselves in the nigerian media. it seems to be the new fad: "i was attacked", "my convoy was ambushed", bla bla bla, they r trynna all play the sympathy card. gimme a break, nigerians aint stupid no more.

we will see how the candidates hold their own this weekend when they have a televised debate. that is what im interested in.

Please when is the debate?
Politics / Re: Why is Every Nigerian a Government Critic? by Nijababe: 3:52pm On Mar 11, 2007
I really think we have critiqued long enough and obviously our criticism are falling on deaf ears, i think it\s time we take our nation into our hands and get our leadres to be accountable, we might not have access to aso rock but i believe we all have a local govt chairman around us, maybe if we start asking them to explain why things are not working at the local level the leaders will wake up and realize that it's no longer business as usual,
If we look at the so called govt. their number compared to the whole nation is minimal I'm not sure if the whole leadership of this country is up too 40,000 and they are holding a whole 140million to ransome, i think it's time for us to stand up and say No more nonesense. and if there is a way to get some of these leaders to read what people think of them here on nairaland maybe that would help, embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed
Politics / Re: No Reason To Celebrate Yar'adua's Return by Nijababe: 1:33pm On Mar 11, 2007
I don't quite agree with you alabiyemmy, if you were back home you'll understand what Mckren is saying, the health services are poor, and the number of people that can afford to travel are minimal, in the uk the NHS is nothing compared to the health services here in nigeria, it is also a pity that we have a vp who has been in govt for 8yrs and in the whole of the country no hospital is fit for him, i feel u mckren, i also had mixed feelings when i read he was back, considering people's reaction to the rumour of he's death which is another ball game all together,
Politics / Corruption: What's The Way Out In Nigeria? by Nijababe: 12:28pm On Mar 11, 2007
How can we get out of this seemingly race of corruption especially with the upcoming elections, how can we ensure we don't have another bunch or handful of corrupt leaders come april 2007,
Politics / Re: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by Nijababe: 10:06am On Mar 06, 2007
Take it easy now, I'm not speaking gibberish i am just asking that we think before we vote,
Politics / Re: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by Nijababe: 8:48am On Mar 06, 2007
Dayokanu i beg to disagree with you on your point that Tinubu did not get money for two years, lagos state is the state that generates money the most and can actually sustain itself, what did he do with the money they gave him in the remaining 6years? Meanwhile no one has been able to give me 4 things both Fasola and Koro achieved while in govt,

Records from the national Bureau of statstics show that the rate of poverty in nigeria has gone down, but it has increased in lagos state which is suppose to be the centre of excellence, Let's face it Tinubu has failed us and so will Fashola. Please think well before you cast your vote

Politics / Re: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by Nijababe: 8:44am On Mar 06, 2007

[Asking for what Tinubu did how much do you expect him to do when OBJ/PDP with help from Koro witheld funds for 2 years Tinubu must be a genius to keep Lagos running for 2 years without funds.
Imagine what a father can do in his house without salary for 2 years?]

Politics / Re: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by Nijababe: 9:23pm On Mar 05, 2007
Hi Koro supporters, i think you should check out this evening papers, he is already being threaten with disqualification, if you have access to him why don't you advice him to take a chill pill,
Politics / Re: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by Nijababe: 11:36am On Mar 03, 2007
Pls i have a question for all you Koro and Fashola supporters,
What did they achieve while in govt.?
I just need 4 acievements each.
Meanwhile someone mentioned he wanted Fashola, so he can contiune what Tinubu started like BRT and LAMATA, that's a joke if those are the only two things that can be attributed to Tinubu's name,
, Besides lagos state has never been as dirty as it is now, area boys and touts became legalised during Tinubu's era and Fashola will probably allow that to contiune, please lets think wisely before we vote ,

Consider Jimi Agbaje for a change,
Politics / Re: Who Will Rule Lagos Come May 2007? by Nijababe: 12:31am On Mar 03, 2007
I think we are all tired of area boys and touts ruling us, we want someone that is honesty, transparent and would deliever, i honestly think we should give JAYKAY a chance, I have heard him one on one and he seems to know he's onions, let's give him a chance and see lagos work.
