I don't know when CDHC called some group of people and discussed the quota stuff with them.people should learn to say what they know.No one should use quota to blame his or her denial.Only God knows d best for all of us and I also believe that every disappointment is a blessing but that doesn't you should give up.......I just hate it when people talk about the quota stuff.

these schools(McGill,uni of Toronto,ubc,alberta,or ucalgary)for a research based Engineering program especially electrical and electronics Engineering,it will be extremely competitive because you will be vying for the same spot with Indian and Asian gurus.which course do you intend applying for?

@doomakeveli.CGPA of 3.85 is very good though some schools require a higher CGPA because I can recall applying to mcgill university(chemical engineering)and after securing a supervisor as well as communicating with the prof via skype,just a week later,I received a mail from the admission committee that my CGPA is not even low but very low(CGPA of 3.75)though I was still admitted to uottawa with the same CGPA.research based program is also very competitive

@ezme.Mr siga is 100% right.ualberta and ucalgary engineering are highly competitive because of the oil boom over there.however there are other schools in Canada in that offer chemical engineering though very few like uni of British columbia,mcgill university,university of Toronto,university of waterloo,queens university,uni of western Ontario,mcmaster university,uni of ottawa,ryerson university,royal military college of Canada,dalhousie university...I've forgotten the remaining 2

@freshdude.my application got 2 them by ist wk of may and ending of june,I was officially admitted.unfortunately,I didn't secure any funding.@dosunmu.engineering management doesn't require a supervisor.it's purely a course based program jointly run by telfer school of management and the faculty of engineering(university of ottawa)

Nawaooh..this visa/medical stuff is taking longer than I expected o!.submitted my application on the 12th of September and my classes start on the 7th of January..got admitted in the university of ottawa(MASc Chemical Engineering).höping and praying for good news for all of us this week!
