To be honest, I have the feeling it's going to happen. The links are very strong and they all point to Chelsea 'only' especially Hulk.
However, this coming season, I am more interested in the players who could step in should those four not be available for any reason.
In previous seasons, we not been bad because of the first team, but the steep decline in quality of the backup players.

The best I can come up with for now is

in a 4-2-3-1 line up. Now that's not a bad line up if our first team attack line is out. I just have not seen DeBryune play in the hole.

As Afrodoc stated Diva, DeBryune's loan move is ended and is set to join up with the squad in the summer.
However, he is currently injured and is set to miss pre-season.

Meanwhile Ulises Davilla is also back but I reckon he will be back on loan as well and he's got work permit issues.
As to why he got so few games, the manager of Vitesse explained that Davilla is a strong technical but classic No 10 player who definitely did not fit into the system he wanted to play. This is the same team Tomas Kalas has had a very impressive spell. At 18, he's a confirmed start in their CB pairing.

Personally, i'm not into all these transfer drama.
I only show interest when i see the player holding up his jersey.

Till we see Hulk and Hazard do that we might have to go with nateevs formation.

The Academy is taking a new turn next season. Chelsea have signed up for the U19 next-gen series commencing next season.
It's the European CL replica except for the youth players. The Idea is to keep young players at their clubs and promote their chances of getting first team appearances. The clubs have the opportunity to keep the players and culture a system that permeates through the academies. As such, the system doesn't seem alien to young players if/when they are called up to deputise for first team players. As part of the agreement, the club will play some of their home games in the home stadium with capacity crowd. The is in an attempt to simulate fans' atmosphere and pressure. A limited number of overage players will be able to join them.

On the local front, the U18 and U21 leagues will kick off from next season. This is in a drive to keep and groom young players, and promote the competitive edge clubs usually hope players get when they go out on loan. Many times it stunts the development of a kid as they may not be used at the loan club, which could affect their confidence/athleticism after being out for a while. Many kids never recover form it. Others are stunted by the tidal wave of different styles and tactics and formulae thrown at them by different loan clubs they go to. e.g Bertrand, Van Aanholt, Kakuta.

I leaning on the side of this having a positive effect. I am excited to see what this brings. I do have a feeling that this will increase the chances of young players breaking into the first team. I will be attending a lot of youth games next season to see for myself.
