rooney is the new phelan..... i won't be happy if he's not sold this summer. 2 transfer requests in the last 2 years because he was outplayed by berbatov/chicharito in 2011 and van persie in 2013...... he would probably commit suicude if we sign lewandowski or falcao. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by tkb417(m): 5:00pm On May 25, 2013 |
I agree Sell him...get Lewandowski....Get one or 2 CMs....and ithink Young should be given free of charge to whoever gets Rooney...we need a left winger...Bale? No cash...i think.. |

coogar: rooney is the new phelan..... Rooney outplayed in 2011? Rooney returned late from a long injury in 2010. His transfer saga was before 2011. Despite all the problems, he never rested once he was fit such that he had more playing time than Berba and Chicha. The people who work with Rooney and know his worth to the team are killing themselves to keep him even at 250k/week. Unknown followers are hating for nothing 'cos elampiro is here. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 9:39pm On May 25, 2013 |
Lewandowsky, Lewandowsky, Lewandowsky. Much ado about nothing. He is just a box player like Chicharito and Van Persie. He is not the number 10 we are looking for. He can't play if he doesn't get the ball in his legs inside the box. We already have RVP, so we don't need him. He has nothing to offer to EPL. He is just like Dzeko and Podosky. That's all. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SailorXY: 10:45pm On May 25, 2013 |
^^^ guy forget! Lewandowski is a genuine goal threat. Do you see how he holds the ball up and release other players? Goetze is obviously his compliment, just like Kagawa was last season *big man small man partnership* He has something to offer to this Manchester United team, he can do well as a lone striker, I'm sure he will also fit nicely into a 4 4 2. Drop this your Rooney armpit licking, the guy is not even interested in Old Trafford anymore |

SailorXY: ^^^ guy forget! Lewandowski is a genuine goal threat. Do you see how he holds the ball up and release other players? Goetze is obviously his compliment, just like Kagawa was last season *big man small man partnership* I didn't see him holding anything. I only saw when he used his hand to control the ball. The real deal is Roben. He drops deep, collects the ball and builds with his mates. |

Goetze is obviously his compliment, just like Kagawa was last season *big man small man partnership* he has plenty to offer us......van persie would drop behind him and lewandowski would spearhead the attack. he's a beast! sell rooney please, monaco should come for him already and get us a hungrier striker who can find the net. |

elampiro: David Moyes is facing another major battle as Manchester United boss – to keep prize rookie Adnan Januzaj. The Kosovo-born Belgian, 18, has just been voted reserve team player of the year after an impressive step up from the youth ranks.I have not been opportune to see him in action, but I hope he turns out to be the future everyone is singing about in the colors of Man United and not another Pogba or Morrison |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 10:57pm On May 25, 2013 |
coogar: The matches RVP dropped behind this season how did he perform? He can't hold possession. Haven't you noticed he struggles in that aspect of the game? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:01pm On May 25, 2013 |
elampiro: he did very well, RVP cannot hold possession? only 2 forwards treat the ball like a wife in this league, van persie and berbatov. their ball control techniques surpass any forward in the whole english league for the past 7 seasons. van persie is a better number 10 than rooney.... |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by montelik(m): 11:16pm On May 25, 2013 |
elampiro: And Rooney wasn't losing possession regularly this season. I don't think I can recall a season where Rooney lost possession and failed to hold up the ball as much as he did this season. We don't need a Zizou, RVP could easily be good enough with the right support. Besides Kagawa is a perfect fit and upgrade over the present poor Rooney. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 6:21am On May 26, 2013 |
montelik: He lost possession in very few matches, and he was still the best overall in holding the ball and coordinating attack. Don't forget too in some instances, he was played off position. Like the Madrid game where SAF played him behind Welbeck, Kagawa and RVP because there was a Ronaldo to be stopped from terrorizing Raphael. Most of the players you guys are hoping for aren't coming, and who said they can't flop? Anyway if Rooney goes and there is a vacuum, Giggs is there to step in. Players like Rooney are very important, they don't die. See the way Robben digs deep and work for the overall benefit of the team. Roben people said was dead on several occasions, he always bounces back. |

There was this midfielder yesterday, I think Martinez. He is a perfect rugged guy United should lure. Unfortunately it seems it's only Fellani we can get. |

This fella must be as dumb as concrete if he doesn't understand that Rooney has made his position within the club untenable by submitting another transfer request. The fans will not forgive him,not sure his teammates will want to play with him as well. All these long epistles from him and he doesn't still get it. |

I was really impressed with Gundogan and Subotic for Dortmund yesterday (Hummels has quality but lacks leadership at times). Bender did okay but he got lost too easily for my liking. Gundogan is the perfect profile of what we need in our midfield. Good technique, composure under pressure at high speed and tight spaces, lots of mobility and energy when Dortmund have possession. To go with solid work ethic, good tackling, covering, strength and discipline when Dortmund don't have possession. He shows you don't have to be built like Yaya Toure or slow the game down like the Busquets to be effective playing from deeper in midfield. Even if Martinez was available, I wouldn't sign him unless he would be replacing Carrick. He is a world class defensive midfielder, not a central one and would be wasted playing there. He reminds of Ivan Helguera, in that he is supremely gifted dm/cb with bags of ability. 1 Like |

StarBoard: Dumb So SAF, David Gill, RVP and De Gea who want him stay almost at all cost are dumb? It is only here fans feel think the way you guys think. Go to other United forum, the far majority have extremely high respect for Rooney and think is a the heart and hub of the team. |

Look at the way you are praising Dortmond, one season UCL fluke. Abeg make I hear word. They were totally outclassed yesterday. They have energy and run and run like our Fletcher does but such football has its limit as we saw yesterday. Let me see that consistency for 3 years, then I will begin to think their kind of football is the answer. I remember the Greek team than won the EUFA cup, they were like Dortmund with lots of speed and energy but it can only go to the level to when others realised they are a threat, then they wither. Martinez, what a guy with dirty jobs. He is a destroyer and a confident player. I hardly watch Bundislega so I have no interest in what these guys do. When I watch on Friday night I get tired 'cos of day's work and I doubt if I have ever watch a match their for 90 min. But yesterday, Martinez is a kind of player that will solve our marking problems. Man United gives so much room for opponents to use us in our area, we need those dirty guys who play like Makalele. Anderson used to be a prospect. |

This place is a real cult. The cabals here have a solid cooperation. Coogar is the leader. Lol When Coogar says a player is dead, without examination over 70% members will already be organizing a funeral. When he says a dying player is most alive, over 70% rally behind him to see how they can use the remaining life in such a player to project him to forum greatness. When people hold contrary opinion even with facts and evidences, over 70% rally round to ensure Oga is seen to be right. When contrary opinion is clear to be the superior argument, the person coming up with it must be insulted, called names and bullied out. At the end, there is only but a handful of people of same ideology always on the thread. Like a cult, they sometimes disagree on a few issues. A tiny sect of the members who don't have the stamina for argument take a spectators' seat while some others take a compromised position. Unfortunately for this occult group, the people who take decisions in Old Trafford don't even know that this occult exist in the first place. Lol Otherwise Rooney would never have been asked to reconsider. |

elampiro: As Mbulela would say "the person wey do this Rooney jazz for u, e no go better for am. Where did I praise Dortmund? Where did I say they are now a super power or that they dominated Bayern? I simply stated my observation about some of their players that impressed me and others that didn't. Abi is Rooney the only person or entity one can have kind words for. |
