The subsidy protest was a scam and it seems to only have happened in the South West alone abi other region dun suddenly get plenty money to buy fuel for that kain increment?

Continuously stick your head into tinubu's asss, why am I even wasting my time with you guys, by the time they fly him to Aso Rock in a Government jet he would haul asss leaving ya'll confused. grin
yes , he will leave us confused. There was no protest anywhere elese because GEJ had the support of the north and the south south claims he is their son . He still had a good relationship with majority of the present ex PDP members now . It was only the south west that knew this scam was just to aid corruption. You really don't get it. Have you bothered to ask yourself why tinubu had always been a problem to whatever opposition , ask yourself , how many indigenes of APC southwest state are not pleased with their government.he is corrupt and Lagos is where it is , you are only deceiving ur self man.

I seriously doubt if those protesters were students or just ordinary agberos probably organized by opposition to forment trouble. No sane serious minded student would display such dirty, crass impoliteness towards a visiting president. This is as low as it can get. I feel so ashamed for those agberos. Even what their placards read displayed the height of their ignorance. Where were they when the successive military and other governments were ruining the country? Shame! Bunch of uncultured youths!
. Sure, apc hired some tout to come and disrupt and protest in the skul. And the security aide of the president is to dumbed to alloW agbero into the school Were the president is. Is stupidity in ur family line

It's too late for Jonathan to start regreting. It's obvious he is losing in 2015. He even knows it. Is there any problem among the Yoruba people? Why this gathering on unity? What kind of gathering of traditional Yoruba rulers you only find the Ooni of Ife and the Owo Ibokun of Ijeshaland as the only prominent? Where are the Alaafin of Oyo, the Oba of Lagos, the Olubadan of Ibadan, the Awujale of Ijebu, the Alake of Egba, the Soun of Ogbomosho, the Osamawe of Ondo, the Deji of Akure, the Akran of Badagry, etc? How come the Ataoja of Oshogbo in Osun State was not present?

Think for once my friend. The truth is bitter. The speaker if the house was supposed to go to Mulikat from SW but her people betrayed her. You are not God, if GEJ I destined to win 2015 election, no principality can stop that. Learn to think like a human because you are not God to say "it's obvious he would lose"

Jonathan,in trying to be all things to all men, playing politics of ethnic division and rancour again. What else is new? This ethnic baiting has always exemplified Jonathan's parochial and prejudiced outlook. One wonders how unintelligent our President is to be patronising the intelligence of a Yoruba audience by stating that he intended for a Yoruba to be speaker in 2011.

This incredibly silly and ethnocentric attempt at currying favours from the Yorubas , ahead of the 2015 poll, will be offensive to the most intelligent and exposed Yoruba person who appreciate that it is ridiculous and hypocritical of GEJ to suggest he would prefer to influence which ethnic group got what instead of letting stakeholders (Reps themselves) determine who leads them. Is it too much to ask for a President who thinks before he says whatever comes into his Machiavellian mind?

Keep spirituality aside, let's us discuss with empirical facts. If Jonathan tells Yoruba people he wanted Akande-Adeola over Tambuwal as Speaker, what would he tell Hausa/Fulani people; he didn't want Tambuwal hence the Speaker's current problem?

Marginalisation:
Yoruba leaders to storm
Aso Rock again
DECEMBER 16, 2012 BY
ALLWELL OKPI
The pan-Yoruba group,
Afenifere, has for the
second time sought
audience with President
Goodluck Jonathan to
protest the “political
marginalisation of the
South-West.”
The Yoruba leaders, who
had earlier visited
Jonathan on the same
issue, said they were not
happy that the President
had not taken any action
to rectify the “anomaly”
in the nation’s political
structure, which they had
complained about.
A leader of Afenifere,
Senator Femi
Okunrunmu, told SUNDAY
PUNCH that the group
had already made
request for the second
visit, and were waiting
for the President’s
response.
He said, “We (Yoruba
leaders) had met with
Jonathan to complain
about the
marginalisation of
Yoruba, but he has not
done anything about it.
So, we have decided to
pay him another visit. We
have already made our
intention known to the
Presidency. We are now
waiting for the President
to give us an
appointment.
“We have the details of
the situation which we
intend to present to the
President. It is as if the
South-West has been
excised from the country.
If you look at all the top
political positions and
appointments in the
country, it is not hard to
see that South-West has
been marginalised in this
administration.
“Check from number one,
which is the President, to
number 15, you won’t
find a Yoruba person
there. Look at the people
controlling the economy,
the finance minister, the
Central Bank governor, no
Yoruba person is there.
The first lawyers in this
country were Yoruba.
Today, Yoruba are
marginalised in the
judiciary. In the National
Assembly, the Senate and
the House of
Representatives: Yoruba
people are not in
leadership position. It is
bad. It’s as if Yoruba are
not wanted.”

As you can see,the real issue isn't bad governance, but 'position'.

Shut up, if Yorubas are not tribalistic, why do you people hate people from the south east so much, why did your LAGOS governor deport the south easterners claiming they are destitutes, go to idi Araba and see destitutes, but because they are Muslims and northerners, he will never touch them. You are just deranged and frustrated, living in self denial of the obvious truth. Despite the fact that Fashola is a lawyer he chose to deny the south easterners their fundamental human right according to the nigerian constitution. Go tell your tribal stories to the goats in your fathers farm. Rubbish. You think abusing GEJ and calling him names will solve your problems or save you from that your bed of poverty? When OBJ was there, which tribe held the speakership position. Why didn't he give it to the south easterners if it wasn't about tribe. What you don't understand is the political equation upon which Nigeria runs as a result of its ethic and religious diversity. You are just a child and so your kind of reasoning is excused.
