Analysiscorner: Name a single one of the accused persons who was not released as ordered by any court. The answer is zero. How dare you, sir, and the Washington Post to tell our authorities when to file charges and when to arrest anyone? These people are multiple criminals and will be rearrested for each crime they've commited at the pleasure of our authorities. Criminals don't get to choose when the authorities can arrest them. abi you people daft ni? 1 Like |

Compare and contrast PGMB VS JONATHAN 1. GEJ sold fuel at #87 while Buhari is selling at average of #300 & above and fuel is selling half its price all over the world, yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful. 2. When GEJ Budgeted 1bn for feeding in Aso-Rock in 2014, (halved it to 500 million upon shouts) APC cried wolf and now Buhari's budget for same is 1.7bn yet Buharists are mute and still think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful. 3. GEJ spent 1.4bn to service all presidential jets in one year while Buhari spends 6bn on same in 6month (they later agreed to 2.5 billion in six months compared to 1.4 in a year for GEJ) yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful. 4. GEJ gave more funding to education while Buhari's 2016 budget favours Ministry of information more than education yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful. what r u informing with 39.6 billion if it is not an avenue to defraud Nigeria LEGALLY.? 5. GEJ spent an average of #8million on each international trip while Buhari spends an average of #25m on each international trip yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful. 6. GEJ created Over 5millon jobs in 5yrs while buhari has sacked over 2million workers in 8months. Check Federal Bureau of Statistics. 7. GEJ made Nigeria's economy the best in Africa & quadrupled our GDP in 4yrs while Buhari has dragged Nigeria's economy down to 8th position in ranking in just 8months. 8. GEJ left naira exchange rate @185 to $1 but buhari has destroyed the naira in just 8 months which now sells at #320 to $1. 9. It took GEJ less than 2weeks to select his cabinet while it took bihari 6months to do same. 10. Buhari claimed that subsidy was fraud (Who is subsidizing who) but buhari has spent trillions on fuel subsidy since may 29 and still no fuel while all buharists have suddenly gone dumb. 11. Buhari/APC accused GEJ of corruption but have not been able to pin one stain on him while Muhammadu Buhari him self followed the crowd that entered into the #DasukiGate. 12. Buhari said that Boko Haram are his misguided brothers while he declared an internationally renowned freedom fighter like Nnamdi Kanu a Terrorist. Can you imagine! 13. Buhari does not have an Honorary WAEC but bags an illegal Honorary (Ph.D) from unapproved El-rufai's university and yet Buharists respect his NEPA Bill more than GEJ's PhD. 14. Just Imagine if the Boko Haram leader is caught and a court orders for his release? Nnamdi Kalu is a budding terrorist and should be treated like one. Dasuki diverted funds meant for military artillery, some soldiers were prosecuted for not obeying orders due to absence of weapons and a court is putting him on bail? Nigeria cannot move forward until citizens stop being hypocrites 2 Likes |

lastmanstandn: Brother, Firstly, I am only responding in good faith and not passing insults to you, the President or anyone that means we'll for Nigeria and also, would be as objective as possible so anyone quoting me shouldn't throw insults ask pls. Here is a saying in my language that translate that the cutting of the head is a not the panacea for headaches. Whether corruption or insurgency, violence or disregard shouldn't be the first line of attack. Strenght is not only expressed through military might but also wisdom. Else, one would be caught in the same Web. Then, you that meant well then become the problem and at fault for meaning well. It has always been so, is and will always be so. The President may mean well, but you cant break law to uphold another law just as you cant rob peter and pay paul. Whether Mr Dasuki or Kanu, if the courts have a different disposition, they should be respected. The President should learn he is not God and he can't want it better than the owner of the universe. He is the number one custodian of the Nigerian constitution and he should respect that which gives him the authority. There must be other ways of handling these matters without disregard for the rule of law consistently. It is evident now that the DSS and other anti graft institutions, also the military are not acting independently but strictly under the influence of the Presidency and if they keep disregarding democratic principles and procedures all in the name of fighting corruption, how will justice be served and truth uphold. Security forces have been turned into political tools and compromised. Nigeria doesn't belong to him or his associates and as such, can tackle matters on just personal perceptions. If he doesn't have evidence, he should or hard to prove them guilty, for someone who believes in hard work. Then, he shouldn't rely on reports only. He should also meet these people and speak with them. Let him hear from yem directly like Nigerians would like to hear from them not DSS or efcc giving reports to news and all we keep seeing on he dailies mare people who don't want to be disclosed. He mention Kanu had two passports, knowing how the government wants him down and out, do we really think he would let go of his passports.... thats is his last resort. Mr President should understand that, in tying to put out a fire, you don't start another. He should also remember that he doesn't have a lifetime to rule Nigeria. When tomorrow comes, chasing people only shouldn't be what he is remembered for. God bless Nigeria 6 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerians are evil and that's why nature almost always gives them very wicked and primitive leaders in crucial offices. Truly, every people deserves their kind of leaders. This is an epic example of a zoo- a situation characterised by confusion and disorder. There's no way a smart person won't try to understand how blacks think. I doubt their sanity to a very large extent. From the onset, assuming we have anything close to a same society, PMB, having scuttled a duly elected democratic government in the past, won't have even smelled a nomination BUT this is Nigeria where mind boggling absurdities occur at an alarming rate. In governance, you judge a man's future performance by his past records. That was exactly why some of us refused to vote him despite the toga of reformed dictator that was foisted on him by the zombies, mumu party. The leopard never changes it's skin. A dictator who has a tainted history of existing an aberrant behaviour cannot be expected to appreciate and even understand the basic tenets of democracy. With a simple word this guy killed the Judiciary last night. It's the duty of the people to defend their nation against its government. Only the courts have the final say on a case brought before by anybody else, including the Presidency. I swear blacks can never appreciate democracy. 9 Likes 4 Shares |

Dasuki no do well at all o. When boko haram were busy slaughtering husbands and whisking their wives away leaving children stranded , Mr Dasuki was sharing the money meant to fight these mad people with Aneni and other PDP members and now his wife is talking rubbish. Our courts are worst off. Imagine three high courts have granted him bail sharp sharp. Our politicians are fond of saying Let go to court after stealing because they know nothing good will co.e from there instead manipulation and abrakadabra. We are just watching. |

omenka:The people at Guatanamo bay were captured in the war front. Since the war has not ended releasing them would only be counterproductive to the war effort. On a second note, if the US court had ordered their release and the government feels otherwise, what the government should have done is to re-approach the court with the reason why they can't be released, so that the court would vacate its earlier order. 1 Like |

DeviIhimself: The govt cannot allow those criminalsssss out on bail, cus most of d judges dat granted d bail ar xtremly corrupt in Jonathan govt, Dasuki told Mohammed dat he should quickly get d dollars ready in other to bribe d judges handling kogi election petition claims, so most of those judges ar not working for d good interest of our country, all dey ar after is dia pockets. They will continue to receive disgrace in dia useles.s judgment and granting of meaningless injunction to dia cronies. Imagine former governor of rivers state peter odili got same injunction not to be probe or tried in law court, after it is glaring dat he is among pple dat av looted d wealth of dis nation. I support d president to hold on to dem until responsible judges with fear of God will take charge without fear or favour. As for kanu d albino, he should continue to waste his tym by rejection one judge after d oda, he will go mustafa way, d federal govt is not in a hurry with his case, d next hearing he should ask for his girlfriend to come and sit as d judge. He should av put all dis consequences together b4 dramatizing all d madness he was saying on his radio dounce biafra, now he is facing d shame, pain, alone. 1 Like 2 Shares |

As an American, I know I am not in a position to look down upon corrupt government practices. As others have pointed out our record re: Guantanamo & rendition alone is enough to give pause before judging. I don't know enough about Buhari to give a full opinion, but I'm quite interested. Seeing the Post write about it interests me even more and makes me question the narrative bc I know many potentially great African leaders are often derailed in Western press. It seems as soon as something good may come for an African nation whom we've had our hands in the pockets of, we find a way to cast the leader/party/movement in a negative light (amongst other hands on tactics). I would say though, that we should all be careful when we find ourselves willing to trade freedoms for security. Just bc the West does it doesn't make it right. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
