These guys dont know the economic and environmental consequences of what they are doing, They are blowing up pipelines thinking they harming Nigeria, faaaaaafaaaa foul! If we have three dimensional thinkers among them, they should know by now that investors attentions are gradually shifting away from Niger Delta due to incessant militancy. For instance Dangote refineries is going to be sited in Lagos and Federal Government is intensifying effort to develop another Niger Delta in the north besides organisations are heavily investing in clean energy more than hydrocarbon e.g Total Oil selling solar lamp. This is my two kobo for the avenger guys, They should stop this senseless bombing and romance federal government to help them clean there land before the last kobo of oil money is use for another thing. 1 Like |

laprince: There is no incoherence between the military and FG because they are same. What the government has adopted is what is called "Coercive Diplomacy" in Military Science. However, it doesn't seem to be successful so far. The government is hesitating to go on full offensive due to the sensitivity of the issue. So far the Military is on the defensive and still trying to prevent further attacks. |

TPAND:Saudi does about 10 million barrels, dubai does about 4 mill. Those are islamic countries with " sharia laws " people like you won't be able to survive there hence the development you may be seeing there. Go to Angola - go and see what these IOC's are doing there. ENI hasn't explored for sometime in Nigeria but go to Angola and see what's happening there. Blowing up pipelines is not the solution. |

luvinhubby: Amaechi did the right thing and acted in good faith by stopping that fraudulent university! I told people when they started that project that it was a conduit pipe for siphoning funds by the former NIMASA helmsman, a close friend of Tompolo, recommended to the post by Tompolo, and who is now on trial for gross Embezzlement, in honour of Tompolo and for Tompolo's benefits. All the contracts for the project running into billions were awarded to Tompolo yet not much on ground. We had Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron which could easily have been upgraded to a University in the same Niger Delta, but because this people wanted to steal, they created this University in a place where you will have to travel for hours on water before you get there and voted billions to the project and siphoned them. Who in his right mind will send his child to such an inaccessible and risky place that you travel for hours on water to reach when Oron is there. The said former NIMASA man also set up Marine Institutes in Nigerian universities like UNN, IBB University et al to train people with humongous sums to support them, so what's the rationale behind another University? Embezzlement! That's why Amaechi stopped it and said that Oron should have been upgraded instead. Everything is not politics. You may not like Amaechi, but neither him nor his Wife is from Oron. It's about doing the right thing. We should learn to be reasonable in this country. Even if it was you, you'll stop such a project except of course if you gat no sense of right and wrong. 3 Likes |

luvinhubby: You and your brothers are the senseless ones. Keep on blowing up the pipelines polluting your land and destroying livelihood of your people in particular and killing the economy of the whole country in general. The interesting and foolish part of it is that you and your people are the ones that will suffer most. If you understand a bit of geology, you would have had there is oil from the coast of Angola to the coast of Brazil, the limiting factor for exploration is Technology. With the recent advancement in Technology, these oils are "explorable". So while you are destroying on-shore facilities in your area, others are developing facilities in their areas (Lagos coming on-line, Ogun/Ondo to follow suit) - who is losing out ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

TPAND:are the enemies not within ND. I can tell from first hand experience- an instance where an opportunity meant for a ND is sold to a non indigene by an indigene who perhaps is the CLO of that community. What are we talking? Check within. Blowing up international investments will not help that region. There should be a referendum @ least. |

banme1: Fyi, the SW will go back to the drawing board, make lemonade out of the lemons you gave them, or have you forgotten that the west was the most developed even pre-oil, don't forget most of your brothers means of livelihood dey SW! we will thank you for that. the SW too get small oil. but the marriage of the SS and SE is only a figment of your imagination, do the Igbo and Ikwerre tolerant one another? food for thought, instead of you preaching unity, you are there clamoring for the destruction of this nation of nationalities, if in doubt, go and read precolonial Nigerian history and see that even the tribes were not united. a word is enough |

Adekorya: I don't know why monkeys reason better than a lot of humans, especially the zombies breed. Everyone knew the Niger Delta was on a delicate balance after a protracted period of absolute neglect and relocating a tertiary institution located by the FG in one of the most neglected area in the region to the Northwest was obviously going to flare some frayed nerves in area, but APC govt choose to do otherwise giving the people more reason to see this APC regime as hostile & the result is this I guess common sense is not common to APC & it's foot soldiers after all. 2 Likes |

TPAND: Since south sudan gained independence, war betwen rival ethnic groups, warlords has displaced millions and killed thousands. Different ethnic groups and rival millitant groudps came together to fight Northan Sudan but after the war, They started fighting for who would rule... War broke out between the different groups and turned into an ethnic thing. We have different ethnic groups in the Niger delta, we have different warlords( Asari, tompolo, ND avengers) not forgetting we still have the biafran who have attached all ND states into their map. After the war with Nigeria, the war for who would lead the ND would remain for a longtime. We need a lasying solution |

The poor man in the north goes to bed hungry thinking about how ti feed his family while the poor man in the south goes to bed hungry thinking about how to feed his family... Poverty unites us all where ethnicity tries to divide. The political elites hijacked the Nigerian dream and turned us agaisnt one another. Our enemies are the once rulling us not the poor man in lagos who is suffering to buy fuel for electricity because NDA blow up a pipeline. The more pipeline you blow the more you suffer the poor who have done nothing to deserv this. Our enemies are our leaders and its time the NDA should take the fight to them. 3 Likes |

Maser: From.Oron to Okerenkoko is over 250 miles, is it a crime to have two maritime institutes in the Delta considering the amount of resources available to be tapped in that sector. We have the Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna, less than 40miles away is the Nigerian Millitary school & Command & staff college in Zaria. Why don't you make arguement for any of those major millitary training institutions to be relocated to South west or south east that does not boast of such? 3 Likes |
