These guys dont know the economic and environmental consequences of what they are doing,

They are blowing up pipelines thinking they harming Nigeria, faaaaaafaaaa foul!

If we have three dimensional thinkers among them, they should know by now that investors attentions are gradually shifting away from Niger Delta due to incessant militancy. For instance Dangote refineries is going to be sited in Lagos and Federal Government is intensifying effort to develop another Niger Delta in the north besides organisations are heavily investing in clean energy more than hydrocarbon e.g Total Oil selling solar lamp.

This is my two kobo for the avenger guys, They should stop this senseless bombing and romance federal government to help them clean there land before the last kobo of oil money is use for another thing.

Avengers, hitting the news daily.
matching all their words with precise actions.

Military, talking rubbish;
we will squash them, we will destroy them, we will bla bla bla

meanwhile, federal government;
we will negotiate, we will meet with the traditional heads, we will bla bla bla .

The high incoherence between the Military and Federal government is brazenly alarming.

There is no incoherence between the military and FG because they are same.

What the government has adopted is what is called "Coercive Diplomacy" in Military Science. However, it doesn't seem to be successful so far.

The government is hesitating to go on full offensive due to the sensitivity of the issue.
So far the Military is on the defensive and still trying to prevent further attacks.

Saudi does about 10 million barrels, dubai does about 4 mill. Go to Angola - go and see what these IOC's are doing there. ENI hasn't explored for sometime in Nigeria but go to Angola and see what's happening there. Blowing up pipelines is not the solution.

I told people when they started that project that it was a conduit pipe for siphoning funds by the former NIMASA helmsman, a close friend of Tompolo, recommended to the post by Tompolo, and who is now on trial for gross Embezzlement, in honour of Tompolo and for Tompolo's benefits. All the contracts for the project running into billions were awarded to Tompolo yet not much on ground.

We had Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron which could easily have been upgraded to a University in the same Niger Delta, but because this people wanted to steal, they created this University in a place where you will have to travel for hours on water before you get there and voted billions to the project and siphoned them. The interesting and foolish part of it is that you and your people are the ones that will suffer most.

If you understand a bit of geology, you would have had there is oil from the coast of Angola to the coast of Brazil, the limiting factor for exploration is Technology. With the recent advancement in Technology, these oils are "explorable". So while you are destroying on-shore facilities in your area, others are developing facilities in their areas (Lagos coming on-line, Ogun/Ondo to follow suit) - who is losing out??

make them continue, i believe it is the government that is strengthening them! why has the economy not been diversified? if we had multiple sources of income, anyone destroying his own environment will only have themselves to blame.
this is also a call for true federalism or even confederacy, with a certain percentage acruing to the FG.
I think politics should stop now and let governance begin! if it will involve going to ground zero in terms of drawing a new economic blue print.
dialogue to me is no option, because this will just raise another Asari, Tompolo and other rogues within the Niger Delta! if possible sef, government should shut down oil production and let's see how things will go, because in 1 week, production has dropped by over 800,000 bpd from estimated 2.2m bpd, meaning we are losing about $40 m daily now, and this is bound to increase.
come to think of it, how come they know where all the pipelines are? we showed them, paying them at the same time!
i also think the amnesty needs to be reviewed and tied to productivity and not just a dash.
lastly let all of us go back to the lands and not just beneath it.

It's a quest to sovereignty of the Niger Delta. It's high time Niger Delta stands on her feet and she can help Nigeria with relief funds.

Nigeria has robbed this region for too long. Way too long, oil communities are living in abject poverty and we are here blaming their mentality.
are the enemies not within ND. I can tell from first hand experience- an instance where an opportunity meant for a ND is sold to a non indigene by an indigene who perhaps is the CLO of that community. What are we talking? Check within. Blowing up international investments will not help that region. There should be a referendum @ least.

I'm not against their action neither am in support of it, but I'm totally against you saying they are bombing because Amaechi stopped Maritime University.

I don't know why monkeys reason better than a lot of humans, especially the zombies breed.

Everyone knew the Niger Delta was on a delicate balance after a protracted period of absolute neglect and relocating a tertiary institution located by the FG in one of the most neglected area in the region to the Northwest was obviously going to flare some frayed nerves in area, but APC govt choose to do otherwise giving the people more reason to see this APC regime as hostile & the result is this

I guess common sense is not common to APC & it's foot soldiers after all.

Since you want to go international politics and relations, I will educate with these few words.

Bonny light isn't sold because of Nigeria's relations, it is sold because it is a sweet crude, low in H2S and desirable to most refiners because of its low cost of fractional distillation. Whether it's Nigeria selling or its Ghana selling it, it's a sweet crude, the end-users will source for it. Since Buhari has been traveling did he bring a new crude oil buyer to the existing ones. Be objective in reasoning my friend.

You talk of sanctions... When South Sudan ceased from Sudan, did South Sudan get sanctioned. South Sudan was the oil producing area of Sudan. Same theory applies to Nigeria. Niger Delta has something to offer the world, Nigeria has nothing

Since south sudan gained independence, war betwen rival ethnic groups, warlords has displaced millions and killed thousands. Different ethnic groups and rival millitant groudps came together to fight Northan Sudan but after the war, They started fighting for who would rule... War broke out between the different groups and turned into an ethnic thing.
We have different ethnic groups in the Niger delta, we have different warlords( Asari, tompolo, ND avengers) not forgetting we still have the biafran who have attached all ND states into their map.
After the war with Nigeria, the war for who would lead the ND would remain for a longtime.
We need a lasying solution

Congratulations.

More power to your bombing.

Unfortunately PMB only needs to increase VAT to 10% and Stamp Duty to N100 and he will shore up his revenue.

PMB should declare state of emergency in Bayelsa and Delta with immediate effect and automatic alacrity , remove the Governors and let the Military Administrator of the 2 states be Buratai. This is bordering on economic sabotage, a treasonable felony offence. Hence, the SOE.

If they want to make the country ungovernable for you, make their homes uninhabitable for them too by turning their homes/communities to hell for them.

With proceeds from 2.2 million barrels daily geared towards development of the Niger Delta, even if it is being embezzled in its entirety, Niger Delta will not remain the same. Can u not make your point without insults? I guess u know that ifi report u,u willbe banned from NL

Btw nigeria is not producing 2.2million, it has drastically fallen. Whether FG tries to negotiate or not isn't the problem.
The problem is how the "born to rule" class takes the rest of us for granted.

Whatever is happening in Niger Delta now isn't just because GEJ lost the election, as many insinuated. Far from that.
When Bubu got sworn in, he couldn't wait to show his disdain for those he referred to as "the 5%" who didn't give him their votes, and who shouldn't expect to be treated equally as other constituents that gave him above 95%. That was a very parochial attitude. Coming from someone who should be an elder statesman, who is expected to navigate the ship of a multi-ethnic nation, that has deep suspicions of other tribes and their intentions, that was a very unfortunate and a very misguided remark. Asari Dokubo recently commented that Bubu should look elsewhere for the money he will use in taking care of the "95 or 97%" that matters more to him. Very few disagreed with Asari Dokubo over this.

It simply showed that the president is no more matured than he was when he forcibly took power in 1983 or so. Everyone referred to him as an ethnic bigot, and he kept proving everyone right so far.

He approved a budget of billions to fix Borno and adjourning states. He approved billions for importing grasses and creating grazing reserve. These two projects are in favor of his kinsmen and their private businesses. Yet, he showed little concern for the regions that have been the victims of his savage kinsmen, the Fulani herdsmen. He never made plans for communal farmers who have largely been victims of his nomadic brethren. All the money for these projects are coming from the "minor and unwanted 5%". Does that seem fair? What's more, he keeps matching his words with action. His appointments into office of several heads of Federal organizations just three days ago, were mainly people from the north. He leaves no one in doubt that he thinks the Hausas and Fulanis are superior to the rest of us.

He should learn diplomacy. Governance has gone beyond the economics and politics of the 80s when he held brief. He never even bothered to undergo any self improvement by way of education and learning after he left office. Well, we are saddled with this unfortunate situation his narrow mindedness has foisted upon us. I don't see a way out soon, because Bubu is as stubborn as he is ignorant.

You have said it all, nothing more to say.
