These people are becoming foolish, what sort of ultimatum is this? They should better coordinate themselves before they lose the support of the already suffering masses. Besides any attack on human lives, the UN would support the FG 100% and what happened years ago would repeat itself.
Peaceful agitation is the only way out.

It depends on who is backing who. If them get connection with CIA, it possible. If you can factor in the fact that throughout those yes of their amnesty, security was so porous, they lifted crude and exchange for weapons and cash in the high sea, while the security agency turned a blind eye to it. Nothing is impossible.

Bro leave that NDA can never operate a SAM battery. The highest will be Man pads or some usless Anti aircraft missile which will definately be stopped by an aircraft ECM.

There is no rocket that can pose a threat to a whole countries airspace
Except they have the ruskies s400 or s500 . It is however, absolutely impossible for a bunch of ape to obtain such weapon

The Function of this message is to instill fear in the minds of average nigerians and the government which in turn will affect the economy
And that is what the NDA have been targeting hence the blowing up of pipeline.

Its already working from the reaction of everybody in this thread. Please do not fall for this trickery. Even ISIS that is been backed by 40 Countries cant pull such a stunt e come be this akpako millitant.

Hmm, the group is evolving o,which one come be joint Niger delta liberation now?

Hmm, before they will begin taking this fight to the politicians who they have grudges against, before it turns into planned assassinations, better resolve this amicably.

Yaradua wasn't a fool. These militants are evolving.

Mr president should just implement the confab report so that we can all have peace. Am tired of all these wallahi.

The president publicly condemning the confab report is another huge blunder on his part. I wonder why that man talks without thinking. He is heating up the country with his careless statement and leading innocent soldiers to their death. Imagine the rate different militant groups are springing up everyday all thanks to bubu. That man really lack diplomacy and shouldn't be a president in this 21 century haba!!!

You can only preach peace to those who want peace and dialogue with those who want dialogue. Nigeria is a sovereign country and there are no other sovereignties within it.

I see stuff like this and I laugh. No organization no matter how media conscious they think they are will be able to force the hand of the Government especially when the government is trying to help the so called affected ones. NDA can never handle the Nigerian army. I repaet, they can never in their wildest dreams. By the way, if they mistakenly attack any civilian aircraft they just signed their own death warrant. Anyway as much as I want this thing to die down calmly, I won't have any problem joining the Nigerian army to wipe out these fools painting the people of Niger Delta as troublesome.

We Know that manpads (man portable airdefense system) are relatively cheap in the international black arms market....The question is can it be safely deployed by the militants without colateral damage in terms of civilian casualties?...Yes, we are not against bringing down Fighter jets or helicopters with shoulder fired stinger missiles but any threat against civilan air traffic should be halted at once.

What a load of bull crap.

How many countries possess SAMs to bring down an aircraft at 32,000 - 35,000 feet?
How do they intend to stop transmissions from satellites in space?

These people should go and sit down. They can't do jack!

All very primitive, these rebels, like Liberia and that other nation with Freetown as her capital. Incidentally, did all those Liberian and Freetown country refugees return? If Nigeria had invested in the military like so many suggested on Beegeagels blog, none of these criminals mascaraing as Rebels-without-any-scruple, would be threatening a whole Nigeria. Which makes me wonder why with the current state of the military, Bohari bothers to threaten anyone.
