I used to be a serious Hip-Hop head but there are not to many new artists that I like.

I like soul a lot too. I think it's soul and Hip-Hop.

Hmmm...for some reason I thought you were going to say Country. I'm taken aback by the hip hop. Soul is befitting though.

Many people are surprised when they find out that I am into Hip Hop. I find Country Music too country. A little too white.

My older cousin is the reason why I like Hip Hop.
He uses to play it in the house all day as early as 1992. Then it was the the rhythm, dressing and atitude that got me hooked.
When I got to the University however, I started listening to it differently. I started listening for metaphors, cryptology and the poetry that some rap artists have in their music. There are rappers like KRS 1 from America and Modenine from Nigeria as well as Nasty C from SA that have unbelievable gift with the pen. It can be like being in a Literature class when listening to such rappers.

And you know a good soul song just arrests you. You don't even have to like the genre particularly.

LMAO. I share your sentiments, tbh. I would never date someone that's bisexual because that's gay whichever way you look at it.
Well, I'm not sure why it's much easier for women. Perhaps it could be the fact that most people think it's hot when two girls get it on. IDK.

When I was much younger, I used to think having two girls get it on was hot too. Now it just looks retarded to me. Does not turn me on one bit.

Once a man experiments with that stuff, he is bleeped for life.

I see what you mean. I also prefer creativity, storytelling & depth in music too. I don't like empty songs. Unfortunately, crap sells nowadays hence there aren't that many people with real talent.

True.

Lol, I find it hot tongue But I don't see myself ever getting too close & personal with another girl. Ewwww.

Why do you say that? Thought men like the idea of having more than one woman to please.

Anything & everything just as long as it sounds good or goes with whatever mood I'm in. I'm very weird about music. Some days I can only take a particular type of music & be completely turned off by the rest. It depends where I'm at emotionally/mentally.

I don't really think there can be intimacy in a thre.es.ome.

Hmmmm...you didn't strike me as a romantic lol. But yeah, you're right. It cheapens the act to be more about gratification than anything else.

I am actually more of an album person. I usually would just listen to an artist at a time. Some albums just have a theme that runs through them that develops gradually from track to track.

But not all songs are good in an album. I can't imagine listening to a whole album without skipping a lot of songs. I'm more of a "Greatest hits" person if I'm to listen to one person's music.

Yeah, it's true. But the albums I own are usually the ones I can play without skipping tracks. I don't own that many albums.
Like I don't skip tracks on Amy Winehouse's Back to Black' album or Asa's self titled debut album or Kanye West's Late Registration

June 16? You share a birthday with Tupac. That makes you a Gemini. Leo started a couple of days ago until the 24 of next month.

You see? You can now understand the contradictions I embody now. Tupac was a thug who was very much in touch with his feminine side. He could be talking about blasting guns in one minute and singing a song for the ladies in the next.

No, what I now understand more is your love for poetry & lyrical prowess. That's very Gemini of you.
Well after all, your birth sign is a sign of duality so I'm not really surprised by your split personality.

Very talkative, most are. Think Trump, he's also a Gemini. Usually, they're excellent with words, funny, smart etc.

Now I also understand why we can talk for hours nonstop. Our signs are compatible & similar for the most part. We bounce off each other. Funny thing though is, I don't get along with compatible signs in real life, only online. My sister is a Gemini we're like oil & water.

I used him as an example because he's the talkative Gemini archetype lol.

I'm an Aquarius. Aquarius, Gemini & Libra are air signs. Air signs = communicators. We have a natural talent for words, written or spoken, that's where we excel. We shut people up tongue

I find that I am better with one-liners.
That's why I am more of a poetry than a prose person.
I like to communicate with innuendos. I like to say a lot with very few words.

Water signs are sometimes hard to relate to because they're the opposite of air sign. We're "unemotional" or more driven by logic than emotions, whereas, they're way too emotional by comparison. Water signs are Scorpio, Pisces & Cancer. But really, at the end of day you could get along with just about anyone. It all depends on you as an individual.
