chatinent: The thing is we don't believe in a one true church. We believe in one living word of God and one body of christ. This is why I can leave a church if the pastor becomes fake. Your salvation is not tied to any church but accepting the wholesome sacrifice on the cross. He said it was finished. The sacrifice was sufficient and the only thing needed. Gathering of the brethren is profitable. But as long as the gathering is in line with the scripture. Let no man deceive you, you can read the Bible and understand it for yourself. |

SILVERLINES: Now please ask specific questions. What I mean is are you saying the Bible quotations supplied are not helpful or you think it is a matter we can rationalize with our own mind? God said don't eat blood. Do you believe that? And God explained in detail when giving the law: don't eat blood. Pour it into the dust when you happen to kill any animal to eat. Don't eat the blood. And he went further, blood should be used only for sacrifice as atonement. All these laws where given before Jesus Christ came. God emphasized this law because he knew that such blood sacrifice was pointing to the all important sacrifice of his own son Jesus Christ. And so Christ's shedding of his perfect blood is the reason why we can maintain a righteous standing with God today. So after Jesus had left for heaven, when the Apostles were writing to Gentiles who would later become Christians, they made it clear that God has commanded we abstain from blood. Blood cannot rightly be used as medicine. It is wrong. The only blood that saves life is the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Other than that any other use of blood is a violation of God's law. It takes Faith to keep this law, and that is the faith all true Christians must possess. Without faith, the Bible says, we cannot please God well, Heb 11:6. Or do you think that blood transfusion does not amount to eating blood? . 1 Like |

chatinent: The problem here is that, every other translation is in agreement. No translation changes the meaning of the text by inserting words to suit their teaching except the jw translation. This is blasphemy. This is adding to the word of God. Yet to deceive people , they will be quick to tell you they accept the KJV. |

chatinent: Sure. Back in my youth service days, I had a corps member friend in the corners lodge. We are both Igbo, and we served in Akwa Ibom State Now this friend of mine was highly spiritual, and attuned to God but she disliked Ibibios very passionately. One morning, I was woken by a female voice shouting rather animatedly in Ibibio. I assumed some of the indigenes were having a brawl, but it soon occurred to me it was only one voice speaking. I got up to investigate, and found my friend speaking ibibio very loudly on the porch. Other corps members were watching. At the end of it, when we told her she had been speaking Ibibio, she was mad at us and claimed she was not, that she was just praying. She obviously had no idea what she did. The indigenes around us however got the message. |

Hairyrapunzel:Pele Hairyrapunzel, I guess you are an atheist because of how you expressed your thoughts above. Sounds very familiar. If you are religious then you need a lot of cane. The Almighty God, Jehovah does not need you to validate the way he chooses to rid the earth of wicked people, you can take that up with him. While you accuse him of an impending genocide, he is busy organizing the salvation of millions of people around the earth to survive and live forever while warning the wicked including you to change, so you don't experience that divine judgement. He did it before and would do it again finally for all time. Your distorted thought of our loving heavenly father on this platform is inconsequential to his divine plan so quit trying to deny it. It is no use trying to fight a powerful unseen being like Jehovah. |

o.p nor vex i gat just two questions for you first: if your child is dying and the doctor tells you that you're the only one that can give him/her blood what will you do? save the child by donating ur blood or allow the child to die? Secondly, was it in anyway or anywr stated in the bible that blood transfusion is bad? if yes what part of the bible? |
Re: Five (5) Misconceptions About Jehovah's Witnesses. by justli: 9:27pm On May 31, 2020 |
Narijoel: Like I said before, you're afraid to probe your faith. Why? Because you don't want to open the cane of worm. Jw is a cult group, shrouded in secrecy. They dismember you as soon as you begin to ask questions. But I wouldn't blame you, the brain washing is deep. Just like the guy I was engaging up there, Even having shown him where Jesus was telling the people to feel his flesh. Even when Jesus was telling them that spirits don't have flesh and bones, meaning he is here with them not as a spirit, the brainwashed mofo is still asking me what then did Jesus sacrificed. He wants me to tell him that the sacrifice was the cleansing blood of Jesus. |

joyandfaith: Yes. I grew up in an Orthodox Church. But once it was time for me to understand my faith and not what I was taught as a kid, I probed it with prayers God revealed the truth to me If one seeks knowledge, he is rich in mercy he will help us find the truth. Even though I liked the church I grew up in, I have to see clearly that a lot of the church's traditions were not biblical. It was hard, but one message stood out: we don't owe allegiance to men and their traditions we should only be guided by the word of God. And if you are wise you have to be able to discern a false religion. |
Re: Five (5) Misconceptions About Jehovah's Witnesses. by Narijoel(m): 9:39pm On May 31, 2020 |
justli:Have you finished probing your own religion? or there is no need to, because their can of worms are clearly visible, open for all to see. No detective work need. Uncle, As a Witness of Jehovah, I am beyond convinced that Jehovah's Witnesses practice true worship and they are the only christian group doing Jehovah's will today. If you have a problem with that, kindly attend to it yourself since you have also resolved within yourself not to open your eyes to see the truth while you still can. |

Maximus69: Jehovah witness organization. I have never seen or heard any issue of infidelity from the married ones unlike what we see in the society today where a woman will be sneaking out to sleep with a younger man outside. I noticed witness wives don't do that. Like keeping illicit affairs aside their marriages. Never have I heard such matters arising from them. 1 Like 1 Share |

Investnow2017: Why did Thomas say: " unless I feel the wounds on his hands I won't believe" Because Thomas knew resurrection was bodily resurrection. And why was Jesus body still having the wounds of his piercing,? Why did Jesus say "destroy this body and in three days I'll raise it up again" If resurrection was only of the spirit, why was Jesus emphasizing on raising the body again"? |

tete7000: So your reason for your purported serving God is prompted by the fear of hellfire. This is a big revelation about yourself. You do not love God, your avowed show is simply motivated by fear and not love. I now see why you love and are obsessed with hellfire. Well dear, you need to study the Bible to KNOW God, I don't mean having some perverted knowledge about him or being familiar with some Bible verses, you need to KNOW God, whom the Bible says is LOVE. . |

Anywhere you see Jehova Wickedness Run for your dear life. Around June 2018 I went to partner with one of their elders who is around 68yrs in an estate business he welcomed me and asked me to sign an agreement with him but I refused, I told him that his is old enough to be my father instead we share our profit 60 / 40%. People, this my goes for evangelism around rumuomasi and environs. I never knew this was the antichrist himself. This man and his family trapped me spiritually and was using my stars for his business and the worst is he doesn't let me know and no kobo will I recieve when I spent 10 months I carried out a review and understood that he was making money more than me then protested he asked me to leave and locked the place went home continue manipulating me at night. He went ahead and conduct wedding ceremony between me and him spiritually am his bride while his the groom. He used GPS to be tracking my position or location for contact. At night he comes in the have sex with me. He surrounded his compound with dogs and doesn't go far from his compound to avoid sudden attack. I reported to his parish hall head they weren't surprised and no action has been taking against him instead they are snapping pictures with him and the new car he bought through Destiny snatching. Jehovah witness is evil... |

Investnow2017: So why do you think Jesus chose to suffer so grievously? So that we won't go to extinction or so that we won't suffer eternal damnation? There are two folds of serving God, yes first is love but beyond that to avoid eternal punishment. Jesus came for the sole purpose of saving man from eternal damnation while revealing to him the love of God. |

Investnow2017: If Bible is inerrant, find a way to reconcile that with the passages I have shown you. I believe the quoted passages contradict what you have always believed. Do the rest yourself, I am not interested in going the way with you. However while you do, be sure of one thing - the scripture doesn't contradict itself. If genuinely search for truth rather than some indoctrination, you will surely find it. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. |
