candyboi: How is d process of admission wat nd wat is expecrd of mi? Tnks I appreciate.
It depends on the program´s requirement. some programs are restricted and most programs score your application by aptitude test, by comparing your bachelor courses to their´s and also your statement of motivation. if there are missing competencies, you lose marks, and if you drop below the set cut-off, its a rejection. sometimes they do skype interview but it depends on your aptitude score´if you are within pass range´. so you got to make sure your curriculum in your bachelor is quite similar to the program you applied for.

No prblm bro I wnt to study transport systems(msc) plz brief mi nd is only tum am applyn to. Tnks God bless.
Well...TUM is a very good school..you should have known that by now if you did your research well..and as for the city of munich, there are lots of opportunities getting a student job, if you want to work, as long as you've got spare time. But bear in mind its 'very very' expensive down here, so plan your budget well.

I kindly advice visa applicants to get an accommodation or hotel rservation before they arrive. I had to run 'helter-skelter' for a whole day before i got one. Great thanks to some Nigerians and more especially, the German students whom I met in the school, who helped me with my luggage and also to get an accommodation. I sincerely love this country! Expecting more good news from other applicants... wish you guyz the best.
Yea you are very correct, accomodation here is really scarce...naija guys are really helpful to students...bt dey dnt trust themselves here tho.. so its beta to scout for dem at diff. hangouts...and the germans are very nyc to black students too....i felt like a Vip at my class orientation as the only black guy...

Thanks for sharing! I am also very very worried about accommodation...sometimes I even wish I was going to another city or my University was located in another city! Did you book a taxi to get to your hostel? Hope you find a place to stay soon!
[quote author=LillyGemm]i booked a taxi to my campus in freising costs 25euro...i regretted that..cos i would have spent just 7euro by s-bahn, bt went to munich by u-bahn....the transport cost aint expensive over here..with 5euro a day u can move around munich without restriction...when u arrive by 12th...come over to jaegers hostel just close to hauptbahnhof central station, there are enough rooms ....thats wre i am.

I got my apartment here after about 6days of searching..........

http://mobil.immobilienscout24.de

Put your city and search........it will show you available accommodations....be ready to call the phone numbers you see there and be ready to hit the road if you are told to come check the house.........mind you, most houses are unfurnished.......i insisted i want a furnished one so i took my time to search for it and got lucky..........wish you luck with your search
How did you go about the payment..did u pay from your BTA?

People going to Munich now should relax until the festival is over,If not you will just come here and realized that everywhere has been fully booked.I will be going there this weekend again cos the festival is about to finish..

After the festival you might be lucky to find dorm hostel for 10 euro per night and even hotel of 30 euro but for now NOPE.

If you wanna study in Munich you can also settle less in a suburb town close to Munich since the transportation system is efficient or try to share flat with colleagues cos student dorm might be fully booked too.
Thanks. the festival will be over by 6th..i will be in munich on 8th cos lectures starts on the 14th. I'm yet to see any hostel for €10 oo.

Thanks dear. Let's assume Euro is (for instance) 221 naira, d conversion of 8090 euro to naira would be 1,787,890. Then, let's assume dollar to be 162 naira, multiply it by 11,100 dollars that i transfered would give me 1,798,200. Meaning that i paid more than required. However, i hope they (Deutsche bank) send me d real confirmation tmoro morning, if i didnt get it, i shall visit UBA for explanation on their Exchange rates.
Thanks for replying me. Need your prayers please.
But guy, you for just open euro account do the transfer na..see as you dey here dey solve maths nw...
