Imagine buying rice N200 and meat N100 only to pay another N200 for something that you won’t eat whereas the N300 worth of food gets nowhere. People who can’t afford an extra N200 are forced to buy in Nylons which is no different from using styrofoam but nylons can sometimes be unhygienic.

The worry of the government is not that styrofoam causes cancer, it’s just because of its non-biodegradable nature which pollutes the environment. If proper wastage disposal mechanism was in place, styrofoam would have been very good to use
