This is simply half-truth, with the intention of misleading the uninformed, which unfortunately many are.

Dangote Refinery's products are inferior? No.

Dangote Refinery's products are of lower grade? Yes.

But we should ask, "why?"

Answer is simple.

DR imports bitter crude (low quality) with high sulphur content. It is cheaper, is heavy, costlier/harder to refine, and yields less number of end products. Therefore, the end products will have a corresponding high sulphur content, which is of low grade.

Nigeria's crude oil is known as Sweet Crude because of its very low sulphur content (among other qualities). This is light in weight, costly, in huge demand worldwide, yields more number of end products, cheaper/easier to refine, and HAS BEEN DENIED DR BY THE IOCs.

DR was specifically built to handle light sweet crude, but with flexibility to refine other types of crude. Even the US from where DR imports crude, soughts after Nigeria's Sweet Crude.

Any domain can sell for four figure depending on the seller willingness to wait till it's happened! Once any potential buyer pick an interest in the domain, and the seller refuse to compromise on his/ her price, then buyer has no choice, people that are willing to hold on to their domain for several years will always sell for four figure while those that only wants to flip within short period including myself will hardly get four figure sales!

Nothing you said above is factual.

1.) Any domain can sell 4 figures...(some domains will NEVER sell even if seller waits forever.)

2.) Some buyers have other options/alternatives to choose from and a seller that refuses to compromise may end up renewing for years and eventually dropping the name.

3.) You can hold a domain for twenty years and won't even be able to sell it for 1 figure.

4.) You can hold a domain for twenty days and still be able to sell it for 4 figures.

2.) Buyer perception/value rating/need
