I agree with the assertion that power supply is very important. Many Nigerians outside would like to invest back home. The erratic power supply has a great impact on them making the call. Having said that though, looking at present state of the country, I'm still not sure that's is the major call now. How about National ID card for all Nigerians? What about the deplorable social amentities? Please help me on this one. Don't read and pass by. Contribute. Thanks!

Friends, let our hope be built on everlasting foundation. God’s foundation is everlasting; I’m hearing you saying I’ve tried it but the foundation failed. I lost my bread winner, I can’t get a job, I lost my husband or wife, and I can’t make ends meet. It’s true all these challenges are overwhelming but the truth is God has never failed to show up for those who trust him completely. He’ll show up. I’m speaking from the relationship I enjoy with him (God). The challenges will come but they don’t last.

Building on God’s foundation is the key to everlasting peace and hope.

Male always justify that they are right to have more than one wife, mistress or concubine as the name suggest. As for the female counterpart when seen with multiple of men is crucified and condemned. A woman once said “our marriage is built on complete trust for each other” but later find out when the husband dies that it was great love and trust. Is every male faithful in marriage? I’m in the perimeter of her landscape; we see it all but Americans often come through any challenge by discussion and at times Passover any challenge because of no consensus (E.g. Healthcare Reform debate going on, Immigration reform still dead, Iraq war Issues etc). I want us to keep an open mind and be objective in this discussion.

The menace of arm robbery is still on the rise in the country. Only small percentages (The rich) of the population are allowed a license to purchase gun for safety and protection. Do you think more right should be extended to average Nigerians without criminal background to carry guns for protection? What would that effect be on the landscape?

Thanks for the suggestion Black_Revo . I think we've come a long way as a country . It's a complex situation that's why I posed this question. I'll share my perspective with everyone at some point in the discussion. What the thinking is here in the states (USA) and Europe in general.

Different perspective, Different analysis, Different solutions but we still left something important out in our thoughts, suggestions and discussion so far!

France and Germany are already part of a country called the European Union. . . . the EU is proof that different peoples can live together very peacefully as long as power is devolved sufficiently to each individual people. . . .

EU is a body of countries together with a common ground not a country. Keep in mind that in soccer Nigerians are united but in other ramifications different regions of the country prefer to seek different grounds. How can we safe her from breaking but rather make it stronger?

When a river that serves as a source to the surrounding trees or flowers is cut off, what happen to the fruit they bear and the leaves? Apparently become sad, look ugly and slowly dies off.
