Politics / Re: Is Capitalist Or Socialist System The Best For Nigeria? by Uchebobo: 5:48pm On Jul 31, 2009 |
mama-g: I understood how you feel. I really do honey. I think the word “doomed” is too much. Nigeria is a system we need to breakdown into subsystem in order to determine the root cause, brainstorm together, analyze and develop a system that will work for every Nigerians. I’ll appreciate if you can be a little bit loose in your perception. Thank you Nigeria is not doomed as long as the sun continue to shine, it will shine on Nigeria too. We can do it if we mean it. We can make it great if we don't doomed it. |

I agree with the assertion that power supply is very important. Many Nigerians outside would like to invest back home. The erratic power supply has a great impact on them making the call. Having said that though, looking at present state of the country, I'm still not sure that's is the major call now. How about National ID card for all Nigerians? What about the deplorable social amentities? Please help me on this one. Don't read and pass by. Contribute. Thanks! |
Politics / Is Capitalist Or Socialist System The Best For Nigeria? by Uchebobo: 4:30pm On Jul 31, 2009 |
Capitalist System is employed by the USA. Socialist System is employed by European countries. I believe you all agree with me that Nigeria neither practice Capitalist nor Socialism. We practice both for now. Improvement is needed to help the vast majority in poverty. Is Capitalist or Socialist System the best for Nigeria? Post comment on my blog. Please vote if you can't contribute. Thank you |

Sports / What Do You Think About Ages 35 – 45 Fifa World Cup? by Uchebobo: 3:01pm On Jul 28, 2009 |
I discovered recently that when players are about 32years, club feels it time to do away with them because of their age. When these players retire some find it difficult to keep the physical fitness. What do you think about FIFA introducing Ages 35 – 45 world cup? Good or Bad idea. Post comment on my blog. |

It’s obvious some minds are really fixed, some minds aren’t, some minds are troubled, and some minds are definitely weak. Regardless of the mind you carry, the unity or diverseness starts with you. Think about your legacy, Think about service to yourself and others; think about leadership; think about excellence, think about honesty and think about peace. I don’t know where the country is heading to but we all can pull it together if we want and divide it if we choose. What side do you belong? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Who Will Lift Champions League 2009 – 2010? by Uchebobo: 3:49pm On Jul 27, 2009 |

Who are you looking to support and why do you think your supporting team will win the champions league for 2009 – 2010 seasons? What’s your take on this? |
Politics / Re: Do You Think Nigeria Should Divide Up Or Be United Forever? by Uchebobo: 4:22pm On Jul 24, 2009 |
ezeagu: EZEAGU - You've just added a new dimension to this debate. "Sacriface". I'm glad you hit that on the edge. That word " SACRIFACE" has been ignored in the discussion so far until you said this "This just shows Nigerians are fake, and do not want to fight for anything". Whether we feel we should divide or unite forever! we have to sacriface and be ready to fight. I think Nigerians aren't fake, We're real people still trying to figure out the direction to a better society. Are you ready to sacriface for the unification or the division? |

Religion / My Hope Is Built On God’s Foundation. by Uchebobo: 8:52pm On Jul 22, 2009 |
Is your hope built on sinking ground, in men, family, job, your ability, your strength, your wisdom? All these are good sources but lack solid foundation, at some point they may be gone. Friends, let our hope be built on everlasting foundation. God’s foundation is everlasting; I’m hearing you saying I’ve tried it but the foundation failed. I lost my bread winner, I can’t get a job, I lost my husband or wife, and I can’t make ends meet. It’s true all these challenges are overwhelming but the truth is God has never failed to show up for those who trust him completely. He’ll show up. I’m speaking from the relationship I enjoy with him (God). The challenges will come but they don’t last. Building on God’s foundation is the key to everlasting peace and hope. |
Family / Every Male Is Faithful In Marriage? by Uchebobo: 8:33pm On Jul 22, 2009 |
Male always justify that they are right to have more than one wife, mistress or concubine as the name suggest. As for the female counterpart when seen with multiple of men is crucified and condemned. A woman once said “our marriage is built on complete trust for each other” but later find out when the husband dies that it was great love and trust. Is every male faithful in marriage? Recount a story to support your assertions. |

tayo4lif: The future of Nigerians is up to us to decide, also lies in our hands. America has her own problems as well. I’m in the perimeter of her landscape; we see it all but Americans often come through any challenge by discussion and at times Passover any challenge because of no consensus (E.g. Healthcare Reform debate going on, Immigration reform still dead, Iraq war Issues etc). I want us to keep an open mind and be objective in this discussion. |

Politics / Gun Right And The Effect In Nigeria by Uchebobo: 3:16pm On Jul 22, 2009 |
The menace of arm robbery is still on the rise in the country. Only small percentages (The rich) of the population are allowed a license to purchase gun for safety and protection. Do you think more right should be extended to average Nigerians without criminal background to carry guns for protection? What would that effect be on the landscape? |
Politics / Re: Do You Think Nigeria Should Divide Up Or Be United Forever? by Uchebobo: 3:00pm On Jul 22, 2009 |
tayo4lif:Most Easterners and Northerners still want a united Nigeria with Westerners because of the trade that exists between them regardless of ethnicity and difference in cultural behaviors. Does that suggest your yes is invalid at this time in the discussion? |

Black_Revo: Thanks for the suggestion Black_Revo . I think we've come a long way as a country . It's a complex situation that's why I posed this question. I'll share my perspective with everyone at some point in the discussion. What the thinking is here in the states (USA) and Europe in general. |

Ibime: EU is a body of countries together with a common ground not a country. Keep in mind that in soccer Nigerians are united but in other ramifications different regions of the country prefer to seek different grounds. How can we safe her from breaking but rather make it stronger? |

strangleyo: DICTONARY.COM defines Federalism as a system of government in which power is divided between a central authority and constituent political units. Stangleyo(I wish your true name is known ) - Is that also your definition of Federalism? It's important to define any big terms used and explain why it's being used to better clarify our stand. |

Ike.muomah: With good leadership, I believe Nigeria can shake off the false/fraudulent foundation. When a river that serves as a source to the surrounding trees or flowers is cut off, what happen to the fruit they bear and the leaves? Apparently become sad, look ugly and slowly dies off. It may look interesting watching the disintegration but the end might be so sad and the experience might just be woeful. Think about the decline of the Old Russian Empire. |
