jennykadry: Since feb Let her consistently call & send mails to the embassy. I applied late last month and was sent a mail to go do medicals last week. For student visa, it doesn't take so long as it used to be in time past. |

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 6:32am On Jun 16, 2013 |
posdream: I have been telling them to create a username and password for candidates to continue their registration.I even filled out that complaint on the questionnaire they gave us on that test day. So do you want to raise a draft for them and ground-mail the application? That is offline but I paid online. So easy when you've your online banking credentials. I did mine June 8 in Abuja and my result should come in this weekend.Good luck! |

How did you go about it when filling the online form?@evanstical, how did you go about the application process because if you fill in the appropriate sections truthfully, you should not be asked for flight number and your arrival date when you have not been offered an admission, paid your tuition deposit or granted your visa. the only possible question you will be asked is that you should upload your IELTS/TOEL scores. if your have your test results with you, upload it and if not, you will have to complete their PAT (pre-arrival test)before you can be offered a place. |

I don't knw if I can face someone o. People I practice with r just familiar people u understand. |

rufychuks: Hi all, you guys are making things easy for us o. @jenny, you said you work in the health sector there. How do you think my chances are if i apply to study medical resonance imaging and ultrasound? i want your advice pertaining the flexibility of being able to work while schooling.Hi I just want to reply your thread. 1st of all your quest to study the above named course are nice but I'll like you to know a few things. I also stand to be corrected by my Aussie friends especially those in the Health sector. MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT scan etc name all the medical imaging fields are technically sub-sepcialty under the Umbrella name Radiography or Medical Imaging Science or Radiologic Technologist depending on the part of the world you reside all basically carry out the same function. I'm a Nigerian Trained Radiographer as so is my wife also. We have done our IELTS, Course Assessment by our Australian Body and I'm also an accreditated medical Radiographer by Australian standards after assessment. I was recently invited to apply for my PR which I did a couple of Moments ago. My advise is you go for Radiography as a course by the time you are half way you can decide the sub-specialty that suits you. All the best |

posdream: You can remain shy but that day let it go for only 15mins. Free yourself and get talkative! That site dealt with the writing, just go through the whole thing which involves almost all topics. I hope you are familiar with different things of the world. Like my writing had the first part as comparisons of different internet uses in a UK city in 2007 and 2009 in a bar chart and I played with a third,a quarter,two-fifths etc alot and the part two was students and schoolchildren are encouraged to get smarter than others when they should work like a team,do the disadvantages outweigh the advantages? I introduced the talk, wrote a little on the disadvantages and jumped in fully on the advantages and concluded with them. Please make use of your pen here, because when you make a mistake, you just strike it and rewrite without killing your time. When you use a pencil, you will be struggling to erase before restarting and that is a time-killer! Remember no time! My reading had story 1 as deforestation and its effects on different kinds of Apes, the second one was MBA and why it does not get to the workplaces and why researches keep it that way and the third one was on a research on how music is helping disabled folks. I was reading the questions and getting the answers from the paragraphs and it worked for me. My listening was alright, it would have been better if we had individual wireless headsets on. Some people at the back complained of not hearing,so they took them back and we used the public-address system and I didn't hear my very first answer. I used my sense to put no as the answer because there was no limit when the guy was inquiring about how to attend a concert.Another answer passed me and I used my sense again to put down, internet as it was for 3hrs free.So try hard to follow the conversations but please read the speeches (questions you're expecting talks on) on your booklet before that and if you get lost, don't worry about it so that you don't miss what is coming too. My speaking was cool. The guy is a Nigerian, so no accent problem for me and he asked my names,if I work and study. Answer the questions and try to expatiate. He won't tell you to, but that is your job. Sometimes he will urge you on, keep talking. |

posdream: my speaking session was cool i scored 7.0, the part u should b scared of is the writing, listening and for sure reading becauses you are tested on reasoning, how calculative u are and speed, wen u said u were shy i just remembered my case during the speaking i took my ietls during the winter and i was with a white lady she asked me to speak of wat i disliked so much wch was about a Movie i watched i could only rem. titanic.. keep speaking show some high level of vocabs don't repeat same words cos its wat the really want u to show(high level of vocab..). Infact use youtube and know wat exactly u are expected to do know ur pie chart bar chart etc how to explain something or narrate them to someone and the person will picture about 75% of wat is drawnn without seeing the graph in that case the want to hear some words like apex peak etc pls contact youtube and wen u miss out in the exam hall forget that question grab the nxt one |

akomsy: It has something to do with different individuals. My concerns were on listening, to the extent my brother asked if I'm hard-hearing,thank God I did okay.I need 6.0 and it's just for visa sake and I can't wait to see my results. |
