frosbel and 'pastor' kun,do you study the bible for the sake of having a relationship with God or do you read the bible just to attack churches and pastors ? If the later is the case,then it isn't Christianity but some other kind of religion ! You should allow the holy spirit to take charge of your lives and you both should deal with the things of God with subtlety ! Refrain from using insulting words on people even if you think they are gods of men ! May God help u both to see reasons why you should to heed to my advice !

You know, many Christians try to help God out and its not necessary. Really, its not. Just stick to what the Bible says.
God sees everything. Anyone that tries to use anything in the Bible to justify himself or as a license to indiscretion or sinful acts will only have himself to blame. The problem is most Pastors don't know how to teach the word of God and balance it out with the appropriate other parts of the Bible.

The Bible's stand on alcohol is moderation. The "wine" of the Bible is definitely alcoholic. Its foolish for anyone to try to imply otherwise. The word "strong drink" in the Bible is used to used to differentiate other types of drinks which are much stronger in alcoholic content than wine. An example of this is vinegar. Interestingly, vinegar and wine are from the same source; the difference is vinegar is left to ferment for a much much longer period than wine, so much so the taste is completely different from wine. Its an equivalent of the whiskey and spirits of nowadays. Vinegar was past time of Roman Soldiers.

The point is this, the Bible stand on alcohol is moderation, but if you think you can use that as a license to do what you like, you will only have yourself to blame. Remember God can never be mocked. No man will be justified before God.

An underlying Philosophy of the Bible is balance. When different portions from the same Bible seem to contradicts one another, it is not so; what's happening is that the Bible trying to balance things out.

The affairs of the life and the application of Biblical wisdom to live it is a vast and complex thing, such that everything cannot be captured with "one drag of the net in the sea".

So you will also see verses in the Bible like "if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off, it's better to enter heaven with one hand than......", "if your eyes causes you to sin pluck it out, it's better to enter heaven blind than...."

So if wine causes you to sin, so its better you do without it. But they are people that can enjoy wine without it causing them to sin.

I for one prefer Red wine to all this juice, minerals, malt etc. A reasonable consumption of it (juice, coke etc) always give me subtle stomach troubles. When I do consume it well, then my stomach really starts turning. I try not to drink beer anymore because it causes so much controversy, so I now stick to red wine. Funny enough, it's alcoholic content is higher than that of beer.

Like I said, no man will be justified before God; if drunkenness becomes your past time and at the point of being refused into Heaven, you cite Bible passages where Jesus drank with sinners in the Bible, christians who drank wine without being engaged in drunkenness will come and testify against you; then Christians who had to make the sacrifice of completely cutting off wine in order NOT to engage in drunkenness will also come out and testify against you; just like Jesus said the people of Sodom and Gomorah, Queen of Sheba will come out and testify against the Jews who had the privilege of having Jesus in the flesh in the midst yet refused to take advantage of it.

From the pastor's teaching,it's better to abstain than struggle with moderation ! He said little sip today might lead to uncontrollable gush tomorrow. He said it is better to have an alter for God than to set up a bar in ur house ! He said wives who defend their alcoholic husbands isn't doing them any good !He said if you do not have an alter for God at home,convert ur 'bar room' to an altar for God ! He quoted proverb 23:33 regarding how the eyes of the drunk will behold strange women.He said drunkenness drives away the holy spirit from the fellow and the 'spirit of alcohol' take over.He said wen you get filled with the holy spirit then there will be no space for the other spirit(alcoholic influence).He said those who take alcohol will most likely find intimate sins attractive.This pastor used one or two quotes from the bible and he is speaking to Christians who at least will listen and not the world at large(some unbelievers) who does not even want to hear anyone mention God beside them.I do not expect this pastor to quote all the scripture in the bible just to dissuade people from getting drunk.Those who have ears let them hear ! Those who have eyes let them see and those who have mouth/tongue let them bridle their tongues for what comes out of it might defile us !
This pastor has never said alcohol in itself is sinful but drunkenness, despite the fact that he does not support anyone of his church members to be deceived or led astray by alcohol !After all,if i don't drink i can't get drunk !

Dude have you ever heard the saying "Too much of everything is bad" gluttoney can be associated to greed, when you eat, eat and eat, drink, drink and drink how would you look like? I believe that is why the Bible sopke against it.

Jesus spoke Aramaic (not Greek or Hebrew). The word for God in Aramaic is Elah/Allaha/Elohim, and Bible states that Jesus called God Elohim, which means the same as Allah in Arabic (Singular God with a Royal Plural Pronoun and a male connotation). Why do the 41 000 Global differing sects of Xtianity call God Yahweh, Yeshwa, Jehova, Adonai and Jesus? Only Muslims follow Jesus, NOT CHRISTIANS! Christians follow Paul against Jesus's teachings. Only the Orthodox Jews and Arab Xtians pray to Allah/Elohim.

48. Prophecies to Identify the Messiah, Which Jesus Does Not Fulfill, YET Allah made Jesus a Messiah.
Bible failed to identify Jesus as a Messiah. Bible claims only God is Messiah. Quran yet gave Jesus a title of being 1 of 124 000 Messiahs of Allah (SWA).
Old Testament records Jesus as being an excrement burning in a cauldron of Semen, hence the Jews hate him.
These are in reference to Xtian books, which wrongfully appoints sons to God.:-
1) Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means “God with us.” Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.

2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.

3) Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.

Prophecies Christians Use to Verify Jesus as the Messiah, Yet Clearly Fail:

4) The gospels (especially Matthew 21:4 and John 12:14-15) claim that Jesus fulfills the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9. But the next few verses (Zechariah 9:10-13) show that the person referred to in this verse is a military king that would rule “from sea to sea”. Since Jesus had neither an army nor a kingdom, he could not have fulfilled this prophecy.

5) Matthew (Matthew 2:17-18) quotes Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:15), claiming that it was a prophecy of King Herod’s alleged slaughter of the children in and around Bethlehem after the birth of Jesus. But this passage refers to the Babylonian captivity, as is clear by reading the next two verses (Jeremiah 31:16-17), and, thus, has nothing to do with Herod’s massacre.

6) John 19:33 says that during Jesus’ crucifixion, the soldiers didn’t break his legs because he was already dead. Verse John 19:36 claims that this fulfilled a prophecy: “Not a bone of him shall be broken.” But there is no such prophecy. It is sometimes said that the prophecy appears in Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12 & Psalm 34:20. This is not correct. Exodus 12:46 & Numbers 9:12 are not prophecies, they are commandments. The Israelites are told not to break the bones of the Passover lamb, and this is all it is about. And Psalm 34:20 seems to refer to righteous people in general (see verse Psalm 34:19, where a plural is used), not to make a prophecy about a specific person.

7) “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” Hosea 11:1. Matthew (Matthew 2:15) claims that the flight of Jesus’ family to Egypt is a fulfillment of this verse. But Hosea 11:1 is not a prophecy at all. It is a reference to the Hebrew exodus from Egypt and has nothing to do with Jesus. Matthew tries to hide this fact by quoting only the last part of the verse (“Out of Egypt I have called my son”).

8a) “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2 The gospel of Matthew (Matthew 2:5-6) claims that Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem fulfils this prophecy. But this is unlikely for two reasons.

8b) “Bethlehem Ephratah” in Micah 5:2 refers not to a town, but to a clan: the clan of Bethlehem, who was the son of Caleb’s second wife, Ephrathah (1 Chronicles 2:18, 2:50-52 & 4:4).

8c) The prophecy (if that is what it is) does not refer to the Messiah, but rather to a military leader, as can be seen from Micah 5:6. This leader is supposed to defeat the Assyrians, which, of course, Jesus never did. It should also be noted that Matthew altered the text of Micah 5:2 by saying: “And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah” rather than “Bethlehem Ephratah” as is said in Micah 5:2. He did this, intentionally no doubt, to make this verse appear to refer to the town of Bethlehem rather than the family clan

These are in reference to Xtian books, which wrongfully appoints sons to God.:-

2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.

3) Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.

Prophecies Christians Use to Verify Jesus as the Messiah, Yet Clearly Fail:

4) The gospels (especially Matthew 21:4 and John 12:14-15) claim that Jesus fulfills the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9. But the next few verses (Zechariah 9:10-13) show that the person referred to in this verse is a military king that would rule “from sea to sea”. Since Jesus had neither an army nor a kingdom, he could not have fulfilled this prophecy.

5) Matthew (Matthew 2:17-18) quotes Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:15), claiming that it was a prophecy of King Herod’s alleged slaughter of the children in and around Bethlehem after the birth of Jesus. But this passage refers to the Babylonian captivity, as is clear by reading the next two verses (Jeremiah 31:16-17), and, thus, has nothing to do with Herod’s massacre.

6) John 19:33 says that during Jesus’ crucifixion, the soldiers didn’t break his legs because he was already dead. Verse John 19:36 claims that this fulfilled a prophecy: “Not a bone of him shall be broken.” But there is no such prophecy. It is sometimes said that the prophecy appears in Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12 & Psalm 34:20. This is not correct. Exodus 12:46 & Numbers 9:12 are not prophecies, they are commandments. The Israelites are told not to break the bones of the Passover lamb, and this is all it is about. And Psalm 34:20 seems to refer to righteous people in general (see verse Psalm 34:19, where a plural is used), not to make a prophecy about a specific person.

7) “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” Hosea 11:1. Matthew (Matthew 2:15) claims that the flight of Jesus’ family to Egypt is a fulfillment of this verse. But Hosea 11:1 is not a prophecy at all. It is a reference to the Hebrew exodus from Egypt and has nothing to do with Jesus. Matthew tries to hide this fact by quoting only the last part of the verse (“Out of Egypt I have called my son”).

8a) “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2 The gospel of Matthew (Matthew 2:5-6) claims that Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem fulfils this prophecy. But this is unlikely for two reasons.

8b) “Bethlehem Ephratah” in Micah 5:2 refers not to a town, but to a clan: the clan of Bethlehem, who was the son of Caleb’s second wife, Ephrathah (1 Chronicles 2:18, 2:50-52 & 4:4).

8c) The prophecy (if that is what it is) does not refer to the Messiah, but rather to a military leader, as can be seen from Micah 5:6. This leader is supposed to defeat the Assyrians, which, of course, Jesus never did. It should also be noted that Matthew altered the text of Micah 5:2 by saying: “And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah” rather than “Bethlehem Ephratah” as is said in Micah 5:2. He did this, intentionally no doubt, to make this verse appear to refer to the town of Bethlehem rather than the family clan

If we had 2 choices (high or low) of rating the intellect of the lost sheep of Israel, and subsequently of the vast majority of Xtians who follow them, knowing that they Tithe their priest to lie to him/her In church leading him/her to Hell, although Bible annulled Tithe Paying in Hebrews 7:18-19 knowing that Bible also tells us in Judges9:23, 1Samuel16:14, 1Kings22:22 and Isaiah19:14 that Yahweh/Baal has an EVIL SPIRIT, which is no surprise that his prophets are all EVIL and Elijah being a Prophet of Allah/Elohim killed 450 Prophets of Yahweh/Baal in 1Kings18-20, yet Xtians worship Yahweh/Baal against Moses's WARNINGS in Deuteronomy 9:16 NOT TO WORSHIP Yahweh/Baal although Jesus rebuked the people who worship Yahweh in John 8:44, while Jesus only worshipped Allah/Elohim, HOW WOULD WE RATE THEM?

Elohim is mentioned 2000 times in OT as God. Jesus prayed only to Elohim. “Allah” is the same God WORSHIPPED by Arab Christians and Orthodox Jews in their Bible centuries before Prophet Muhammad (SAW) came. In Genesis 1 (Old Testament) we find the name “Allah” 17 times.

Xtians have been plagued with the effects of Satan forever it’s manmade belief was developed based on the beliefs of the Lost Sheep of Israel and consequently the Church adopting Jezebel’s Cult Doctrine of Satan worshipping. The Catholics worship Satan Lucifer and the Protestants (Non-Catholics) worship the AntiChrist Yahweh/Baal.
In doing so, Xtianity is banned in 53 Global countries and this Satanic faith is on a sharp decline forcing the handful of Xtians left to lie to extremes to defend their false belief. In doing so, they falsely claim that Allah is a Deceiver, but if you use Google Translate to find the Arabic word for ‘Deceiver’, you would not find that word in Quran, but rather you would find the word ‘Planner’ instead.
NATURE OF SATANISTS AND FALSE MANGOD WORSHIPPERS
The above people are rather aggressive by nature, and they feel it’s their right to conquer lands and kill people and spread lies. Although Facebook only recently started allowing Muslims to speak the Truth against Liars, but yet keep deleting most Muslim posts, Satanists feel offended! Justice is never accepted in the mind of a Satan Worshipper.
The word “Begotten” has been removed from all Bibles in 2010 AD and Bible Pundits have replaced the word “Crucifixion” with the word “Ascension” and totally removed the word “Trinity” from all New Print Bibles (by Karo93:9:19 pm on Feb 24 2010 AD). Some Bibles say “Tree” and some say “Cross”. Peter in his letter said “Tree”, yet overwhelming evidence denotes Jesus was NOT CRUCIFIED.
The sad story of Jesus is that when he came, his own people rejected him (John 1:11). Today they still reject him and follow the False Prophet Paul instead against Jesus's Teachings.
