The jurisdiction does not fall under the regulatory expertise of NCC, the NBC is still the regulatory ody for all Broadcasting outfits. As we all know, they are toothless bulldog, our sufferings continues.

Let face it, Hitv has done well for 9jas and still doin it. the monopoly has been broken finally, but
dont let us forget that, the other competitors are not folding their hands and keep looking.
They are waiting for Hitv to make mistake and they capitalise on it. Also we should not forget that
alot of jobless citizen are not gainfully employed thru Hitv initiative, therefore we all need to
enjoin together and protect them from going down.
Here, i will say Hitv, staff and subscribers has the right to educate them on what to do and not to do.
An advice is freely given but its up to the person to either use it to his or her benefit or throw
it away into the thrash can.

Like it is always said, CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT, if Hitv dont have enough customers, on their service
would they be able to pay their loan and still upgrade?. I support viewing CVs and Hotels to pay more
than what home users pay we all cant be make to suffer for others people's gain.If Hitv has a relatively
low tarrif i can bet you there will be more customers for them and in few years DSTV will be wiped out
of Nigeria cos ppl will be going for HItv. Like one of the
contributor rightly said, there should be different package with different tarrif. If you want Football
go for Package A, if not then go for Package B.

Lastly, let all have it in mind that, Hitv only has EPL league what happen to other football game?
Now, AIT is showing UCL on local Tv station, they also have other football games. Dstv also has
other football packages. Hitv should not only bank on EPL games only. Change is the only thing that is
constant, other, cable station are planning,changing and adding more channels to their bouqeut,
varieties is the spies of life.
Customers want varieties and will pay more, am speaking from experience

if only hitv were wise, they would have invested that huge money they used in
out-bidding dstv and other pay-tvs in acquiring better programming that will
satisfy their teeming audience instead of only football. now, they're busy isuing
empty threats rather than looking inwards and learning from thier mistakes.

i'll not be surprised if come 2011 they pay one thrillion naira to EPL and hike

RANDOM SELECTION. how did i know this. ? I was at their office recently and one Local Govt went to rake for them for not activating their subscription 3 days after payment. Guess Hitv's reply. Hitv accused them of using it as viewing centre, unknown to them, them be tax office , so how tax office go dey operate viewing centre. Hitv sha apologized.

my own case- i paid on saturday that Man u was playing arsenal, and they dint activate me till wednesday, when i got fed up and went to their office, the lady inserted my card and it came up lazily after 30 minutes and she had the nerve to tell me I WASN'T PATIENT ENOUGH.

Ol' boy no talk wetin u no know. . . . . how many people HiTV don employ; how many outlets dem get for the whole naija If u have an issue, u either have to look for a satellite tv expert or go and congregate in that their little cubicle at ebutte-metta - abi na anoda HiTV u dey speak off
