manny4life:me sound tribalistic far from it i love igbo, yoruba and every other group in nigeria i am half igbo half kanuri, why will i hate any southerner i love my nigeria people and southerner,.,.,., but the question is do they love me ? NO they don't so why will i say let there be an igbo governor in a northern state when he has not gone to his state and develop it not to talk of mine. lets be realistic here, let everyone stay at there tent |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by MrRambo: 9:07pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
alj harem: You don dey madt abi? When it is suggested that a southerner rules over a good for nothing desert land, with people who have brains just as empty as their lands; it should be a privilege. The south will never love you and one day, my generation will witness redemption from having to be identified alongside like you. May the hole that birth you be full forever with sharia and it's demons. Fool. |

@ here am I insisting Dangote has nothing to fear running for d Governor, yet some idiot is going on about if an Igbo man is appointed d minister for Abuja dat there would be mayhem in Abuja, is Abuja not meant to be no-mans-land, d indigenious were re-located & compensated adequately y would d north now start fighting over a northern region dat has been defunt since 1967. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by aljharem(m): 9:29pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
KnowAll: who said anything about fight here all i am saying is that your so called no-mans-land has men in them that are indigenous to the your no-mans-land because you are not a proper lagosian so i will not listen to you you have no right,,.,. i repeat no right to tell any state you are not indigenous to, to accept another candidate just because a small town in the state (lagos island) was the formal captital. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by Katsumoto: 9:35pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
KnowAll: Are you an indigene of Lagos state? If not, how many generations of your family has lived in Lagos? Please be honest |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by KnowAll(m): 9:43pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
what has d indingenious lagosian got to d with my post, can d indigenious lagosian deliver a Governor in d state without d help of d " ara oke's " & other nigerians who make up 85% of lagosians. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by Katsumoto: 9:49pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
KnowAll: Just answer the questions. BTW, the people of Lagos, both indigenes and recent settlers alike, are satisfied with the performance of their current governor. |

I have no problem with a Fashola type Yoruba politicians to be governor of Abia State. Anyone is better than the Orjis! |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by Nobody: 10:13pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
EzeUche_: Easy to say, But will your Igbo peeps agree? |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by ekubear1: 10:32pm On Feb 09, 2011 |
EzeUche_: I'm not trying to be a d1ck. . . but it isn't like people all over West Africa moving en masse to Abia (or any state in that area.) However, they are moving to Lagos in large #s. So the relative value of the two positions isn't quite the same. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by emmatok(m): 12:33am On Feb 10, 2011 |
Can you imaging most people claiming LAGOS do not actually believe in ONE NIGERIA . So if you are going to your BIAFRA or AREWA NATION tomorrow, You will drag LAGOS along . Because the LATINOS, ASIANS AND JEWS are in US, does not mean they can own the US. Lagos is geographical located within the south-west YORUBA dominant region of Nigeria, So it belongs to the YORUBA PEOPLE and not the IGBO and HAUSA BUSINESS MEN. IT IS CALLED GEO-POLITICS. |

emmatok: Then who owns America?? |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by Nobody: 12:46am On Feb 10, 2011 |
Only a grossly ignorant person will label Dangote a monopolist. There is no business Dangote operates that they are a monopoly. Think before you malign the man. All in all, I think he will make fine governor should he decide to run. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by manny4life(m): 1:20am On Feb 10, 2011 |
afam4eva: Good question, Who owns America then Better yet, when Latino American decides to run for president, ahh that's too big o, I mean Governor or Mayor of DC, they should tell him no abi? As a matter of fact, there was a black latino man who ran against Vincent Gray in the prior elections, Did he run for the office, why not. How many votes did he have, me know he was on the bottom of the list but at least he ran for the position |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by EzeUche2(m): 1:23am On Feb 10, 2011 |
Lagos should be split like Jerusalem, Brussel, Belgrade and any other city that is split along ethnic lines. I don't care if it is geopolitics. Many Igbos claim Lagos, so they have a right to partition Lagos amongst the Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and any other ethnicity that has a rightful claim. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by jason123: 1:27am On Feb 10, 2011 |
EzeUche_: With this sort of statement, you would only attarct violence to the unknowing igbos in Lagos. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by ekubear1: 1:28am On Feb 10, 2011 |
EzeUche_: Oh vey. And that is exactly why nobody non-Yoruba will ever be governor in Lagos. I'm glad you said it, so others here can understand how people think. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by EzeUche2(m): 1:31am On Feb 10, 2011 |
jason123: You can try, but I wouldn't mess with "bush" Igbos. There are very different from us refined Igbo. Many follow the old ways. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by jason123: 1:33am On Feb 10, 2011 |
EzeUche_: Shakes my head! |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by EzeUche2(m): 1:33am On Feb 10, 2011 |
eku_bear: Well Yorubas did steal it from the rightful owners who were the Bini people. Now if more Igbos move to Lagos, and Lagos, becomes a majority Igbo town. Who will be the owners then? So I hope more Igbos move to Lagos. Reproduce and create more Igbos. I even invite Hausa to come to Lagos. The more the merrier. Let us not stop there and include Ghanaians. Lagos is for everyone! |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by ekubear1: 1:41am On Feb 10, 2011 |
EzeUche_: Lagos paid tribute to the Benin Empire. . . but was first inhabited by Awori. On a very serious note, the "Lagos is for everyone" attitude will only bring about bloodshed. It isn't for everyone. If you are serious with that statement, then I think you truly want violence. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by EzeUche2(m): 1:43am On Feb 10, 2011 |
eku_bear: Lagos would not what it is, if it wasn't made the capital of the Southern protectorate. All Southern Nigerians have a claim to Lagos. The British built up Lagos for their own purposes and some of you Yoruba think you can benefit from that. No! Even though Yorubas did help with the building of Lagos with the cocoa proceeds, Igboland's palm oil plantations also helped with the foundations of Lagos. Niger Deltan oil also added to infrastructure during the 70s and 80s. Lagos is for everyone! Get used to it. That will be my mantra! I would claim Abuja, but it serves no strategic or economic purpose. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by ekubear1: 1:45am On Feb 10, 2011 |
Go test the validity of your mantra publicly in Lagos and see what happens Talking on the internet is cheap. Go test your hypothesis out in the real world. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by jason123: 1:46am On Feb 10, 2011 |
EzeUche_: JOKER! Please, when you go to Lagos (Isale Eko, Badagry, Epe, Idumota, Ebute-meta etc), chat this crap to an Awori man and please live to tell his reaction. Thank you. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by EzeUche2(m): 1:47am On Feb 10, 2011 |
eku_bear: For me, Lagos is a slum. I am just a provincial man from Abia. Now I would say that Port Harcourt belongs to the Igbo though. No doubt about that, because I will be on familiar terrain. Let an Igbo boy who was raised in Lagos say that. I know many Igbos feel that way about Lagos. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by ekubear1: 1:51am On Feb 10, 2011 |
EzeUche_: Even Port Harcourt, you should go to the Okrika part of PH belongs to everyone (or Igbo.) Back your bold talk up with action. . . if you dare. |
Re: Dangote Should Run For Lagos State Governor In 2015 by EzeUche2(m): 1:53am On Feb 10, 2011 |
eku_bear: Okrika people are mixed with Igbo. They will know I have 30+ million people on my side. You have to understand the East. The East is the Igbos backyard. We have never been pushed around by a minority. BTW, I can always ask for from my Ibibio brethren as well. There is a beauty in being half Ibibio. Port Harcourt (Iguocha) will remain in Igbo hands. |

A beg, make Dangote contest, if he wins, this Yoruba/Lagos claim go end. Everyone go know say Lagos na home for all. |
