At this point, capital is Lagos, not Ibadan.

And I have no problems with outsiders investing. Investment is beneficial to both parties; everyone wins.

But seeking political office or power? That is when there is trouble. Though I should point out that people whose first allegiance is Lagos, I think they should eventually be able to seek political office. Perhaps 100 years from now, even the governor spot. But right now with Nigeria as ti is, now is not the time for that.

In nigeria standards , it is quite negliable. You would probably not feel it. Moreover, you would probably earn more than that based on you Phd. I am also planing to reside in Lagos permanently when I am done here.

And almost all my salary would be in that regime. Nigeria isn't a place where you get a lot of services from the government either.

Assuming you earn 300k a month, after tax you would earn 225k. That is quite negliable compared to the service you would be getting as a resident of the state, that is, better road, more social connections, infact better placed etc.

I don't think we have any minorities though? In Yorubaland, at least.

You can't have minorities in yorubaland cos it's yorubaland. You have minorities in the western region.

Western region has been dead since the 60s. Delta State and Edo, no real reason for me to view them as mine to be suppressed. I dunno, I'm not a fan of oppression

in-effective you say when was abuja built and how many years did it take abuja to be built ?

igbos will take abuja i do not think you are serious at all

what is the % of igbos in abuja compare to even igala people not to talk of fulani, yoruba, hausa and kanuri

just because a miniter said they own 70% of the land in abuja does not mean 70% is igbo all this is just to appeal the igbos to invest in abuja just like benue, lagos and port harcount

firstly, if 40% of lagosians are igbo, how many are ijaw,., maybe 5%, hausa/fulani/kanuri about 10-15%, edo about 5%, itsekiri and other eastern minority about 10 %, middlebelt around 5%, then what is the population of yorubas in lagos then are you saying yorubas are about 20-30% then.,.,. okay if right how come a yoruba man keeps winning the election in lagos from local government to state

now about abuja

if 70% is igbo, then the remaining 30% is for the WHOLE country to share(efik, kanuri, hausa, fulani, yoruba, igala, beroms, ijaws etc) does that sound reasonable to you

how many igbos are in abuja apart from the politicians, very rich family, students and small percentage of federal workers

do you think that is enough for them to win a miniteral position in abuja,.,., certainly not

infact, yorubas have more chance in abuja than igbos,.,., because most military men and federal workers in abuja are yoruba and hausa people
