Martian: Stop trying to sound smart, it does not look good on you, i am trying to know somethings here because i want to see if its also by chance that birds don't speak human languages, rather theirs. where did the birds evolve from? You should have read well that i separated all these questions, give birth is a question, grow old is another and die is also another question, so why make it sound as if it was a straight question? |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 8:34pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: I started off as a fertilized egg, then I went through the larvae stage, the pupa stage and then came out as a full grown adult. Complete metamorphosis!!! |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 8:38pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: Why do we give birth? F#cking leads to babies. Why do we grow old? Because cells degenerate. Why do we die? Because we get old as f#ck, IF we are lucky. The birds evolved from cows. So they can speak cow and any other animal languages close to cowspeak. They also speak horse, and alligator but I'm not sure if they speak elephant. Parrots are another topic though. |

Martian: see comedy, why did you have to go through that when you can easily evolve from an ape? I think alcohol is working here, just read the last comment of yours and let me know if it makes sense to you lol |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by EvilBrain1(m): 8:51pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: Humans didn't descend from modern-day apes, that's not what the theory of evolution says. It says humans and apes descended from a common ancestor. We're like cousins. Also, chimpanzees are never going to evolve into humans. Chimpanzees are not "less evolved" than us. They've merely adapted differently to a different environment. They live in dense jungle, an environment where high intelligence is not that useful. Instead, they are expert tree climbers, are far stronger than humans and are extremely fast over short distances. An average human wouldn't survive one week in the Jungles where chimpanzees thrive. Just like chimps don't do so well when taken out of their habitat. You need to get a proper understanding of the theory of evolution before you start criticizing it. Its about survival of the best adapted leading to gradual change over time. Its a really simple concept if you ignore all the disinformation creationists have been spreading. |

honeric01: If you don't know the anwers to middle school science questions, you should expect the kind of "alcohol" influenced answers I gave because your questions were simple minded and you're too ignorant to look up the answers yourself. You ask questions like, "why doesn't the sun fall into the earth" and you expect a serious answer? Not from me! Judging by the amount of post you have on nairaland, you seem to spend a substantial amount of time on the internet so why don't you use some of that time to understand things like gravity, evolution, nuclear fusion, cell development etc instead of trying to ask questions your dim brain thinks are "hard". |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 9:01pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Evil Brain: We are getting there , so who or what is this common ancestor? |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 9:14pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
@Martian I knew it was coming to this, lol, i just google how you evolved from an ape to a human so that i'd get same response from a deluded person like you right? What's the difference between the ape you believe to be your ancestor and that present day apes? i should ask google too? BTW, viewing how many post i have on NL, you should have been careful enough to know that i have been on this site for 4 good years going to 5 years, having such posts for almost 5 years is normal for someone who knows how to use the internet and also's got un-restricted access to the internet too. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by EvilBrain1(m): 9:24pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: According to genetic studies, the last common ancestor of chimpanzees and modern humans is believed to have lived 5 to 8 million years ago. The fossils which most closely match the age and expected appearance of this animal are Sahelanthropus tchadensis, Ardipithecus kadabba and Orrorin tugenensis. Before the split, the LCA lived in trees and dense forests but some of them spread out into the savanna or costal regions and became isolated from their forest-dwelling cousins. Eventually, they adapted to living on flat land and became the ancestors of the australopithecines, Homo habilis and modern humans. Those who stayed behind in the forest are the ancestors of the chimpanzees, bonobos and a few other extinct species. Why do you ask, by the way? I have this nagging feeling that you are about to say something completely rètarded. **Edited for clarity.** |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 9:29pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
^^^ You are not even making any simple sense, why all these stories? i said a simple question : what or who is your common ancestor to the apes since you and the apes are cousins? Please stop copying and pasting, it does not present you to be someone who thinks on his own. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by EvilBrain1(m): 9:35pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: I'll give you $1billion dollars if you can show me the site I copied and pasted from. Just because I can spell and speak decent english, you think I must be copying from one oyimbo? Some of us went to good secondary schools. And I already answered your question. It's not my fault if you can't keep up when things get a little technical. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 9:38pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: Since you seem too ret@rded to use something as simple as google effectively, I'll help you out. I'll make sure to list sources that are simple to understand. http://www.universetoday.com/40677/gravity-for-kids/ http://csep10.phys.utk.edu/astr161/lect/history/newtongrav.html http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/evolution/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fusion http://biology.clc.uc.edu/courses/bio104/photosyn.htm The last five years have been a waste. Start the next 5 years on these sites. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 9:40pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Evil Brain: I could have told you that you were just wasting your time. You should have given him equally absurd answers to his questions. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by EvilBrain1(m): 9:48pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Martian: I have to at least try. Besides, someone more sensible might read this later. There's too much ignorance and and misinformation floating around nairaland these days. We need to do whatever we can to raise our national IQ. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Kay17: 9:55pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
@honoric mutation do take place in all living organisms. the extent and nature of mutation is all evolution is about. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 10:00pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Evil Brain: Ok, you did not copy and paste, please who or what is the name of your ancestor? i have checked all your posts (replies to me), nothing that made mentioned of any particular thing, animal or "event". what or who's your ancestor? BTW, have u even seen $100,000 before? where you wan see $1 billion from? Martian: lol, from your fellow "delusionists" right? i am still going to be very civil with you even though i know you don't deserve any lol. so tell me, who's your ancestor since your fellow friend said you and the apes are distant cousins with common ancestor. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 10:03pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Kay 17: lol, another funny answer, mutation? you mutated from an ape to a human being or what are you trying to say? BTW, the same question goes to you too, who's your common ancestor with the apes? |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 10:09pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Evil Brain:I'm sorry, but the nation is doomed. I posted sources on gravity so he can begin to undertand why the earth atmosphere doesn't disappear, a source on nuclear fusion so he can understand the sun and other stars, a source on photosynthesis so he can understand how autotrophs get enrgy and food, and one on evolution so he can understand that humans can't turn into apes or vice versa and this was the genius' reply. honeric01: He's not interested in the answers because as far as he's concerned, the answer is GOD. The one the jews created to be specific. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 10:12pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Martian: Wait, before i decide to take you serious a bit, let me ask you these questions 1: Do you believe in God or a higher being capable of being God over all living things? 2: Who's your ancestor? una wey think say una get brain no dey no say una head empty pass balloon. |

The fossils which most closely match the age and expected appearance of this animal are Sahelanthropus tchadensis, Ardipithecus kadabba and Orrorin tugenensis. Now you're making me copy/paste myself! What kind of answer are you expecting by the way? Do you think I'll say some-thing like "my ancestor's name was Chinedu and he lived in Awgu LGA of Enugu state 6 million years ago"? lol, from your fellow "delusionists" right? i am still going to be very civil with you even though i know you don't deserve any lol. By refusing to consider or even read contrary opinions, you are just deepening your ignorance. Science isn't like religion or football. Theres no shame in changing sides if thats where the evidence is leading you. And even if you don't like what the other side is saying, you should at least be able to look at their position with an open mind. You are suffering from a serious case of tunnel-vision. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Kay17: 10:22pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Are you denying mutation? How come you are different from your siblings despite receiving the same chromosomes from your parents? |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by EvilBrain1(m): 10:23pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Martian: Okay, I can't resist posting this: If human beings were intelligently designed, how do you explain the existence of honeric01? |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 10:24pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
^^^^ lol, in your mind now, you believe and think what you've been posting since are unknown info? like someone else hasn't said same before? lol or like we haven't discussed all these on NL before? do yourself a favor, maybe you're new here or not the careful type, search the forum, you'd come across loads of thread like this, nothing you and your friends on this thread have said so far that's new or un-heard or seen before so please keep your "ignorant" talk to yourself. You can see that i haven't really even done any of the rebuffing since? just been trying to ask you simple questions. The problem with people like you is that you hardly think deeply, rather you try to oppose whatever you find not in your "like" books with your own theory or that that suits your "style" |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 10:26pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: 1. No. Why?Because all gods are human creations 2. Humans. But if we go back far enough most of them were not humans. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 10:27pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Evil Brain: I'll answer your question after we let him "Rebuff". honeric01: |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 10:35pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
@Martian If your descendants are not human, what then are they? i bet they are not apes either since apes are your distant cousins. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by Nobody: 10:52pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: Do you accept evolution or are you just asking the question because you are trying to discredit it in favor or mythology? Anyway, the closest archeeological find to date is Australopithecus sediba. |

Evil Brain: You can see that i am very lenient here and haven't really said anything "harsh" against your way of reasoning or that of your friends, just being nice lol. you claim i ain't intelligent/smart and all that, i am just laughing at you because i find people like you lacking the same stuffs you think others don't have. Too bad, everyone can't be saved, it's late here and i think i should be calling it quit. |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by honeric01(m): 11:01pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
Martian: lol, so you do not know there's a word like rebuff or rebuffing? 1: You don't believe in a God or a superior being, i can now see where you're reasoning came from lol, too bad people like you are left to come back to sanity naturally, you can't be helped, everything fell from the sky, and even the sky fell from somewhere and that somewhere also fell from somewhere lol, no ending, no beginning lol, |
Re: The Descendant Of Apes by EvilBrain1(m): 11:11pm On Nov 19, 2011 |
honeric01: Sorry if I gave you the impression that I don't think you're intelligent. I actually don't think you are, but regardless, I didn't intend to hurt your feelings. Try and read up more on evolution, not from creationist or christian books/websites but from legit, objective sources or even wikipedia. If there's anything you disagree with or don't understand, then come here and discuss it with an open mind. I'll try not to be too sarcastic. |
