Their oppression of women is streamed across every fabrics of society - from Religion to Employment Laws and Company Policies - women are marginalised and controlled all the time because, there are no Laws to protect them. Could they place these slavish rules on a man? Obviously, not! In some Churches women are abused - they have to undergo some medical examinations before their weddings e.g. some Churches ask for pregnancy tests before any white wedding could take place in the Church and I ask, where in the Bible did God say it must be done this way before a wedding could take place? Imagine so called men of god violating peoples Human Rights and offending the 'Will of God'. Imagine, a Pastor climbing down the Pulpit and automatically, assume the role of a Gynaecologist and Obsterician, put together! And I ask, who made him the judge over peoples behaviour. With regard to Employment Laws - there are no protection whatsoever for women. One wonders, how we have more rights abroad than we have in our own country - What a shame! Hey Lady, my advice is, get out of that 'selfish and inconsiderate silly marriage' now else, you will have another pregnancy issues to deal with, and get the 'blame' as well! After all, you'd been in the marriage for only one year and not much investment of your time and life had gone into it - so move on!!! You are an 'Independent Woman' - Count your losses and move on!!! I suggest you go and buy this song 'Destiny's Child - Independent Woman' and play it every time - to help boost your confidence that is already blown apart and re-enforce the idea, you don't need a man to be a woman and that you can achieve, whatever God said you can achieve without a man. Go do it, now!!!! Why are there pressure on young women to get married and when they do, they get the blame from foolish philandering husbands not putting their 'Willy' where it should be - 'in their pants and keep it permanenly 'fixed there' until their wives returns. What nonsense is this? Is it compulsory one should marry? And when they eventually get married, it is full of heartaches - what nonsense is this? Give it all up! You're are better off without the looser! Give it up and do your best to get yourself out of that hell-hole of a country. Imagine him now blaming you, as if he's not aware of your profession before he proposed to you and said 'I do'. Everyone knows that Banking job is so stressful, except your stupid husband - what a joke! He should be happy that he married a woman with a career who tries her best in the marriage. Atleast I know how my boss @ his friends treat some of dis banker girls all in d name of they want to meet their target, foolish girls after dem go sey dem no see husband. We all know d economic situation in nigeria,there's no such tin as house wife again cus that won't foot d bills especially wit d current scourge of job insecurity. the man is selfish and a fool for blaiming her.its not by alws being close to ur spouse that wld make him not cheat,the ones that choose to behave like dogs wld cheat no matter d consequences. she should pray about d issue and make her choice wisely as it pertains to fidelity issues too. |

The last I heard, the banker (wife) went to the husband's mothers place and one thing let to the other and she insulted her mother in-law calling her a witch that she(the mother inlaw) instigated her son to impregnate the housemaid. Don't know how true it is, but heard a softsell carried the story and promise to keep updated gist on it. |
