Hi Genbuhari, I finally found my strength to make any contribution on NL. The past 2 years have been an HELL-ish experience for me but thank God we are getting there. My former MD died and the family who were mostly based abroad decided to fold up the business and permanently relocate abroad. This kind of affected me financially and I was unable to even think of high cost medical treatment for myself and wifey. I tried to look for job without any success until I decided to do something on my own, this i have commenced and things are gradually getting better. This explain my absence of more than a year although I must confess there is hardly a day that I don’t visit but I sort of lost interest in everything. But Thank God I have a lovely wife who shares my joy and sorrow with me.

Within this time, we have tried all sort of medical treatments and I am always put off after 2-3 months of treatment without any changes. I believe my reason for medical treatment is for my wife to be pregnant, once I don’t see any sign of that in 3 months, I just believe it’s not working.
The latest dr said my wife has cysts (not sure until I look at the test paper again) which are around her womb and are always hot by nature, so since pregnancy needs a cool space, the hotness makes it impossible for pregnancy to stay. As for me, the problem has been the same from day one, low sperm count and low motility, I have tried everything we discussed here (natural remedy, roots, drugs, etc), may be my impatience for quick result makes me abandon them after 2-3 months. I also noticed I have so much to discharge after a long period of abstinence (e.g. during her menstrual period) but after the first time, I need a day or two to be able to discharge a reasonable quantity. Although the argument has always been on quality not quantity, I seem to have problem with the two. I am trying within my little earning to save so that we can make a quality consultation and treatment, until then, we are doing the little we can do and praying for them, at least we are sure GOD is the type makes a way when it seems there is no way. (at least I remember a story on this thread of somebody trying to save for IVF until GOD showed HIS real power.
I still believe that devil is liar, one day, you will rejoice with me and my dearest and with other ttcs on this thread.

we actually decided to wait or a week after the 28/28 day. But on the 7th day (36th day) the 'thing' rear up its ugly head again.

Pls, for how long (days) can one wait before going for pregnancy test after the normal cycle?

Lord a lot has been going on here, i have been coming to see and read once in a while,but could not even spear a ,minute to write i feel horrible . It has been crazy this past 4 weeks for me, went to Emergency 3 times twice with my son and once with my Hubby. They where both sick. My son's temperature was so high it was 103.7 which can lead to seizures. All because of a cold that brought ear infections that brought cough . But i give God the glory everything is back to Normal.
Gen B i see you are holding down the house ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. This time difference makes me crazy sometimes . I don't want this thread to just disappear so thank you for everyone contributing and encouraging one another.

The best thing is to cast your hope hope oh the LORD, continue doing the right thing medically and hope for the best. Do you remember Don Moen's song that :God will make a way; where there seem to be no way, He works the way we cannot see, He 'll make a way for us.

pls I hate that suicide aspect you wrote. My DW once mentioned the same thing and I felt like kicking her out of my house. But I know it's due to frustration and had to let her know that in everything, I'm by her side & with her. So please dont be too hard on yourself

@ Ivynwa, You once posted that Brocolli is one of your fav. I need to know how you prepare it for consumption. I finally got it @ Goodies and I have tried 2 methods, (1) raw eating – which I seem to like; (2) steaming – I had to force myself to eat it after steaming because is makes me feel like vomiting, so how do you prepare yours.

@ GEnBuhari, Hope you’ll have time to respond to this with this your election palava. Have you come across any write-up on how best to consume brocolli?, I’m thinking of using blender to extract the juice & drink directly but I don't know if it’s advisable. I have read some write-ups & it seems there is contradiction where some claim it is safe & some believe there is need to deactivate the enzyme in it by cooking before consumption.
Also do know of any other natural herbs/root/leave like broccoli that one can consume to boost male fertility as I seem to prefer taking these natural things than swallowing tables.

It has always been my prayer that as much as we desire children, may GOD not send them to claim our lives. Which one should I be more joyous about? Is it the bay or the LORD that saved your life. D BD issue na serious thing well baby making too na serious issue sha. We used to target from 14 days up to the 20th day. But there was a time my wife went for test on the 11th day and the Dr. got angry with her that she should be BDing, since then we have been commencing on the 10th day but may we will start from the 9th day now but I almost stop after 22nd day. We also try to BD early morning everyday but I discovered say ‘e no easy’ especially with quantity and quality of emission, so I tend to take a day off in-between. Any idea about the wrong thing with this?

I went for HSG to check if my fallopian tube is block in November before my ovulation after the test the Doctor comfirm that there was nothing wrong with my tube but i had a very very bad cramps after the test. In December I went for homonal test which was on the 21 day of my period and up till today i have not seen my period. Went to my dr. he ask me to come back on Friday 28 for preg. test. i'm feeling so weak and all that but i can't really say what is wrong with me, can it be pregnancy or homonal imbalance.

Angee, I think you should wait for the Dr.s confirmation. It can be any of two. I pray it turns to be the former.

I never knew dat i Will take in now because of the kind of stories am hearing from docs like, u have PID, discharge, infections etc but my God did it for me am so grateful.
