In Nigeria it is common practice for family of both couples to have a say in who the ward get to settle down with and for this abnormally i have heard many reason from people whose perents have given different reasons why they and their partners cant get to tie the nuts but not unitl last weekend i have not heard the funny or stupid excuse a friend told me her parents gave.

She said her folks said they cant marry because the guy is from a polygamous home (that is his father or mum married more than one) not that the guy is engage to anyone or have had issues before now.
