Nairaland / General / Please, Beware At Nite! by bayourgold: 5:12pm On Nov 24, 2009
Just yesterday I was robbed at gun point at ikeja, toyin street opposite oceanic bank at arround 7.30 pm , I was discussing with a friend those two guys just appear from no where and pointed guns at us and asked us to drop the bag on me and phones, they ran away with my bag which contain some valuable items. I t was a painful experience because everything just happen in short minutes and they are off.
During this period of the year they are everywhere looking for someone rob, just watch your back and avoid carry bags because it will attract them more to you, because they will target your laptop.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi, nairalander , i work with on of the leading asset management in Lagos, we carried a research on some of the quoted companies on the exchange recently and we found out as the it is now , if you invested 100,000 in firstbank share in the year 2005 , despite the downturn of the market, calculating your dividends and bonuses for the past years , my dear you are still making bountiful returns despite the price it was now , without doing any research or any analysis , i can boldly tell anybody to buy firstbank share.
Investment / Re: How Has The Stock Market Decline Affected You As A Person? by bayourgold: 3:55pm On Sep 21, 2009
Many people do not know much about this stock market, all they hear is that you can make money in the stock market and they jump in , they dont have a financial plan nor have a financial goal. In the history of stock market in US, UK and all over the world ,there is always a reccession and expansion ,presently we are witnessing the recession and it will soon be over. Somethings ago in the U.S stock market the market was bear for about 38months.So ,guys it is not a new thing, early this year WARREN BUFFET is the greatest investor of our time, for the past 20 years he has remained the world's richest man.He popularly called the oracle of omaha.Buffet's famous admonition to investors is to (Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful) this meltdown is an opportunity for people to invest more because very soon the bullish market return!
so keep investing,

Family / Re: What Should A Good Wife Do With Her Earnings? by bayourgold: 5:32pm On Jun 25, 2009
There was a time i asked this particular question, any way the issues of marriage is something u can just say 2+2=4 , and more over when it comes to money u will see people showing different kind of colour , i think is wisdom , grace and mercy from above is what we need to solve these problems. One funny things about ladies is that when it comes power is always equal but let it comes to money matter ,haaaaaaaaaaa is husband that should be responsible. Any way my prayers is always that i should be the real head of mu wife and not just husband.
