From the floor of the NSE,
IPWA bleeding,
AFROIL seeing red blood, lost 1.37 so far
CAPOIL crashing, lost 0.89k so far

Could this be connected with the SEC news?, i think so!
All man dey run out for cover, grin

FO2,WINDYWENDY,PUMPING AND THE REST THANK You GUYS!!!! GOD WILL BLESS You ALL IN THIS FORUM.

My Friend is currently on the verge of getting a 40m loan from a Naija bank for a period of 6 months for a 21% interest rate and he want to invest all in NSE. He is thinking of investing 80% of that in the inssurance  sector and 20% in the bank sector. Am afraid because the amount is huge. could FO2,Pumping,wendy and  others suggest the stocks he will likely make like 100% in the next 6 months for him.

God Bless you all ! and may the sick by whole again. Amen.

Balls of Steel ,  now thats how to make money !!!, ahhhhhhhhh

My people as usual no buy am - it has gained 10% since I asked easimoni for the numbers ooo - this thread sha.You no dey here anything peren- na to highjack am.

I don tire for lead oo

@yodi,

Do u place orders via the website, i do this and it works for me so far. my trades are always executed, same day most times(once my limits are within range).
Someone in there told me it is more effective than placing with the RMs. I just send emails to the RMs so they know and indicate that i have placed orders on the website.

what i have noticed with them is that once a stock is on bid (strong / sometimes weak) e dey hard them . so the trick na to dey one step ahead even if na to lose some % aleast u still make some doe. All these guys have issues na to dey manage them.

My UBA buy order (buying with all my might and strength grin) was only 50% executed yesterday. Might have been related. Lead is full of excuses sha! They even had the nerve to hit your's truly with over-draft when my account was red. The catch? I was N1m in the red because they failed to sell N3m worth of shares despite the absence of a price limit! I dey watch them angry

@easimoni,

Did they charge u intrest on the overdraft?

Do u know the rate if they do?

Whats the account opening minimum? I might give them a try to see how far? Which bank do they have account with?

Has anybody used TRW-Stockbrokers?

Minimum i heard is 50k they dropped it from 500k, they just open up branches everywhere, trying t expand if u ask me. They use GTB.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by donilors: 7:05pm On Jan 13, 2008
Guys, some people have complained about LeadCapital , but they are working for me ooo. i place orders online and follow up with a mail, (the RM never picks his phone) , only when my price is too low, or a stock is on full bid (this one forget about them in this case, no show at all)  that i don't get what i asked for. i get purchase confirmation the next day.(though end of the next day) but it is always carried out.

I contacted a guy in the IT section and he says posting online is much more reliable that email to the RMs (infact,   i have had conflicts with this though, sent via the 2 mediums and got double what i asked for, )

just what i am experiencing, and it hasnt been too bad,  wink

least i forget, most importantly, i always place orders the in the morning, any time before trading starts (9am)

@Temmie10 ,

IF I were you, i would actually sell my nahco and move on to another stock. if you do 20% with another sound stock, you have made profit that covers the loss on nahco. just my 2 cents.

Whats ur take on NASCON, do u think it would come of age ? embarassed
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by donilors: 9:00pm On Nov 27, 2007
Guys, i need advice

New into this game , and i am learning a lot from this thread. I bought Nacho @ N34 and NASCON @ 22 a while back, i have been holding on to these for a while now, looking to cut my losses and move on to more profitable stocks, but not sure if NASCOn will come to terms with my purchase price, and NAHCO has been inching up, without fundermentals backing it up. Should i cut and run??

Need advice abeg.

@easimoni thanksfor the info,

My average buy price for Crusader is currently N4.56, soyes, 4.41 looks good to me. It's been bouncing btwn 4 and 4.50 the last month so try to buy in the low 4s. This plan may backfire if the stock has turned upward for good but I don't know for sure. (this is where tech analysis would be useful)
