Pls house, I'm kinda confused on where to stay in the states, i wud have preferred Texas, but I don't have anyone to put up with there. Now, i have 2 diff cousins that are ready accommodate me, one in Providence(Rhode Island), and the other in California. My confusions is that, i want a place where i can get job easily, and also, cost of living is a consideration. Pls gurus in the house, ur candid advice is hereby needed as I need to make up my mind, and call the person i actually wanna stay with. I intend to leave for the states by mid or late february. Now the interview exerpts: After the usual security checks, we got in, and paid the processing fee, at about 5mins later, i was called for documents submission. At about 9:30am, my ticket number flashed on window 17, where a young black lady was waiting to interview me. Exerpts: Co: Morning. Me: Good morning ma'am. Co:can i take ur finger prints. Me: sure, u can. Co: Do u swear to say the truth. Me: yes, i do. Co: have u played the visa lotttery before this. Me: yes. Co: which university did u attend. Me: obafemi awolowo university. Co: which course. Me:mgt & acct. Co: Congratulations. Ur visa has been approved. Me: Thank u, merry xmas in advance. That was it.

I just left the embassy...visa approved! Interview lasted for just a minute. Thank u my e-family. Ddetails later

Evening house, pls, a frnd of mine that won DV2013 said, there is no medical report we are to make photocopies of. He said the hospital will only give to us an x-ray jacket and a sealed envelop which is not meant to be opened until d interview day. Though, he did say that the hospital shall also give us our own copy of the report, which is to be kept by us and not to be taken to embassy for interview. Pls, cud this be true that we are are not making duplicates of medical reeport?

Happy weekend friends, pls, I lost my WAEC certificate last month, now preparing to go for affidavit and police report so i can go to WAEC office and something i can be using since they wil not issue another certificate. Do u think the embassy will accept it, and it won't affect my chance?

Of all you have listed, the only required document is your WAEC certificate since you have a degree that should be the most important document. however, you can carry any and document along that makes you happy or boosts your confidence. Your primary school certificate does not matter at all.

Try and go thru the instructions very carefully and thoroughly

Hi all, pls, how does one get the 2NL? Will a parcel be sent down frm KCC, or is it gonna be online thing? If it's gonna be online, will it be thru their website or it will be sent down to my mailbox and I will print it? Lastly, which email address will it be sent to; is it the one with which the initial application was done during application process, or the one i wrote on d forms sent to Kentucky, cos, d one with which d initial application was done is not mine, but, when filling d DS&DSP forms, it was my email address that i used.
