Through a fit at gtbank branch i went to in akure. Told them i had no gtb account and only usd. Dem no gree o. Said usd no be legal tender to make payments in 9ja. They did say the price was 300k plus last week and it was revised to 259k (1,400 ngn ler usd) this week maybe next week it will reduce again. But they cant guarantee |

ok, so today i'll try to take 370 usd cash (185 x2) to the bank to pay for 2 people. Fingers crossed. |

same prob here. GTB is exhcanging online at 1,400 NGN per usd. so the 185 usd visa is more expebsive. i called customer care and the lady unkindly said i could take usd to the bank to pay for the visa at the prevailing exchnage rate which she said was 1250. anyone confirm this is true as she was more interested in cutting the call. |

Hi Everyone, If you need to pay your SEVIS fee which has been recently increased to 350 USD (for F1) and having problems doing so, please let me know here. It was pretty tough for me to get this done when I was going through it, so I decided to post the process here and offer a proxy payment service to whoever needs it. Steps to get your i901 payment CONFIRMATION: 1. Send all required details to the school that has offered you admission and have them generate an SEVIS ID for you (they'll also DHL you your i20, but you dont need to wait for it, just request for the SEVIS ID and that can be used to do the rest while waiting for the i20 to arrive) 2. go to https://fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html and fill in the form. Choose your VISA type and enter your details. Get you SEVIS School code from google or the admissions correspondence. Note, Codes for F1 visa is different from those for P1 or J1. Likewise for graduate and undergaduate schools. 3. Once done with 3 above, generate the payment coupon. This is the only requirement to make payment. 4. If you want me to help you make payment, send this coupon to me kounzo@yahoo.com with any other details. 5. Once the amount is paid into my Access or GTB account (whichever's convenient), I will make the payment and you will recieve your payment reciept in your registered email address (as fillied in stpe 2) which you need to print and take with you to the embassy. The confirmation number is also required when scheduling an interview. Please give me 4-12 hours for this process. Any questions PM or email me. Good luck and I wish all prospects the best as you pursue your dreams. Kunle |

richmon74: Funny set up Nice work richmon. I particularly like that car park installation. Pls keep us up to date with that. Interesting thing you mention about those prags. I've instalaled a couple myself and output is always 220V . It surprising you say 164V was only stabilized up to 185V, that one might be faulty. Will have a closer look at some of mine though. Thanks and keep up the great work. Edit: Had a closer look and your right. Its never really steady on 220V. THey should put the 220V as target output and not just output. Kind of deceptive there. Thanks for the heads-up |

bodejohn: in addition to the above UNCLE G, how is it not a waste if you already have solar chargers that can charge to float? Even with the magnum and the poor electricity you've mentioned you have in your area, the 3/4 stage charging of the magnum will hardly be utilized, right? And did you ever have to repair your cyberpower in the past? I noticed you didnt use the AVR and small changeover that comes with the cyberpower, or they didnt come with yours? My cyberpower has been running very strong (after proper installation) without any faults and my batteries are always charged to float by my MPPT, so I dont know if its a good investment (at least with my setup, which takes queues from your former installation) to get an expensive inverter to replace my cyberpower. You may also want to discharge you batteries to 40-50% SOC before checking the volts with a voltmeter, or better still try to get a battery load tester, so you get a good idea of their SOC while offline. I had to change some batteries that read well with a voltmeter, but when I tried with a 150amp battery load tester dropped under load. |

yemionline: I got it from Aurthur in lagos. PM me for contact details |

George_D: Thanks uncle G, I dare say though that amongst bulk chargers (luminous, sukam, etc), cyberpower has the best build quality. |
