Politics / Cry Until You Get An Advocate by Glopatience(f): 5:07pm On Oct 23, 2020
Written by Edet Crownofglory Patience

There is this boy who normally comes to my compound to play, the boy is mentally retarded.

Because of this, many children younger than him do take him for granted, oftentimes, they beat him and make him cry.

And like the Advocate that we are, whenever we are there, we intervene and pass judgment on whoever beat him unjustly.

I guess he is so accustomed to this fact that, whenever he is beaten, he would cry out.

This afternoon, I was inside when I heard him cry out. Deliberately, I stayed back with the mind that he will keep quiet when he is done crying or if no one comes to his rescue. I never knew I was only deceiving myself. He cried to the point that I was being affected by the noise he was making.

Minutes later, a mentally sound girl and around his age group, walked up to him and requested to know who made him cry, he pointed out the person. Without much ado, the little Advocate took charge of beating the boy that made him cry, this boy was way younger than the person he beat.

What surprised me and brought about this article is the fact that this little boy stopped crying immediately he sighted an Advocate. He knew he had achieved his aim.

Then, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to some things which I'll like to share with you.

Hmmn! Many times we pray, cry to God, and often we stop this exercise when we ought to tarry for Him to hear us. If we don't tarry in the place of prayer how will He know that we're really in need? How will He know that we're serious and in pain?

Peradventure, He might think of lingering a bit since we don't seem to want to trouble Him that much, it means we can still bear the pain. Is that true my brothers and sisters?

No, I guess. At times, we stop praying because we are tired of praying on a subject for too long, and at other times, we stop because we believe our faith is enough, the faith that doesn't reach anything.

In this nation, we need to cry in prayer more so that our dear Advocate would hear us, know that we are serious, and then send in Advocates(helpers) our way.

My dear brothers and sisters, we need to pray, cry, and intercede more so that people that need to hear us will hear us and take us seriously when they do.

I believe that you've learnt something just like I did, please, put this into action. Let's endeavour to pray more, tarry in places of prayers just like the disciples tarried until they were endued with power from on high.

I know this isn't easy but trust me, His grace is sufficient for us.

Oh Lord, please, I ask for the grace to wait longer in prayers until I receive great answers to my prayers, no place for assumptions in my and your life in Jesus' name...Amen.

Remember: The Bible says "Pray without ceasing". Likewise, the widow in the new testament kept knocking on the Judge's door until he opened the door and intervened in her case.

Disclaimer: I am not in any way saying that little prayers don't work at all, but it is time to pray more.

What do you feel?
Let's pray more for our dear country!

I love you.

Religion / Before You Take A Walk by Glopatience(f): 10:34pm On Oct 13, 2020
Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

I was using my phone's wifi to connect with my other phone , that's phone A & B. Then, I suddenly had the urge to go somewhere.

Meanwhile, I was reading something on phoneB which was using a borrowed wifi .

What happened after a long walk?

I lost the connection, I mean, phone B was disconnected from phone A's wifi connection.

Why? It moved away from its source of power.

Get it right, please!

The wifi connection was still on, but phone B walked away from the network connection from phone A.

Many times, believers carelessly walk away from His presence and at other times, unconsciously, we walk out of His presence. How? Sometimes through our speech, actions, attitude, and at other times, through our conduct.

One thing that we need to remember is that, God is the Omnipotent and Omniscience One, yet, He won't force you to stay connected to Him.

His power is never outdated or forgotten, but, once you let go of His hands, you're doing yourself ALL harm and not "more harm than good", because there is no good outside God.

Dear friend, if you've walked away from His presence either carelessly or unconsciously, please, without much ado, pack your luggage, and return to your Maker.

He is waiting patiently for you.

There is a prayer that the Yoruba people normally render "wherever God's eyes will not get to, may our legs not lead us there" it's a big prayer.

May our legs not walk us out of His presence into destruction in Jesus' name...Amen

Please, have a rethink before it is too late.

Do you know what?

Immediately I returned to my base, of its own volition, phone B re-connected to the wifi from phone A.

Get back to His waiting arms.

Kindly have a rethink before you take a walk out of His presence, and lose out completely.

Therefore before you take a walk, kindly consider the consequences.

I love you.

Romance / Oh My Beloved by Glopatience(f): 6:20pm On Aug 22, 2020
Oh, my Beloved!

Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

Here am I in my sister's garden.
Good tidings, I brought to my maiden
I gathered my myrrh with my spice
To you, it may not be nice
I have eaten the sweet honey
The honeycomb, I drink with milk
Friends, beloved, come and dine with me.

In my sleep, my beloved's voice I heard
'Come Open! for my merry heart,' he said
'My beloved, my love, my dove,'
'Open to me my love,' still he calleth
'Let me in, my dove'
'Come for my heart is filled, my undefiled'
'The night shrinketh it colour'
'Open that I may hide my head.'

How shall I answer my beloved?
My coat I hang away from the night.
My feet I washed and made fresh
How shall I defile them?
Yet, my beloved troubleth my door,
Behold, my heart beats for love.
I must need respond to my love
Else, angry cold will envelope my beloved,
For love overcometh all night cloves.

Alas! On my feet I rose,
To the door, I engaged.
The warmth of His spices I feel!
The sweet scent of myrrh are real
Upon the handle of my door it reeds.

Beloved, with my voice I call,
But my voice returneth empty to my ears,
My love, I searcheth, I seeketh and I calleth
Oh! My beloved hath withdrawn already,
Oh! My sweet love hath gone in hale.

Oh! My soul faileth when he called,
My weariness I put to blame,
I sought and want my beloved,
I called my beloved's name aloud
But answers I couldn't hear.

Phew! The city watchmen smote me
My lingerness hath wounded me
Now, my weariness hath suddenly flee me
My veils they seize from me
Oh! My beloved hath left me.

Oh ye daughters, tell him
When he be found of you,
Tell him I be sick of love.
Daughters be not like me,
Linger not, arise and fight
Attend to thy love while he waiteth.

Arise! Attend to thy love,
For he calleth thee out of loneliness,
He seeketh thee for companionship.
Seek him when he may be found!
Joke not, for the heart is soft.

Play not for he loveth thee
Reach out, for the Master calleth thee
Oh! For I lost the beauty in His eyes
His colour is altogether milky,
His voice, like honeycomb sweetens my ears.
His touch, turneth my life around.
Seek the Saviour, when He may be found.

Romance / Finally, I Found Love by Glopatience(f): 12:16am On Aug 22, 2020
Yes, I'm finally walking down the aisle.

Finally, years of loneliness are over.

And I finally said yes!

You can't imagine how it feels to be locked up in that state of dejectedness, loneliness, depression and torment.

Though, I treated Him unfairly from the onset. Despite His pleadings, bleedings and suffering, I deliberately ignored Him because I felt I won't have fun with Him.

If only I knew, I would have said "yes" years ago and avoid those wasted years.

Instead I clung to that man who I later found to be ugly, a cheat and liar. He is an epitome of negativity!

I almost missed this once in a life time opportunity with the Lover of my soul. I can't forget that night, I almost lost Him for life...

Dare the truth!

Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

Many people tend to run away from something daring as truth, they see it as too daring and painful.

Please move closer let's talk.

No matter how much you run away from it, it will never make it change it colour.

The truth will never lose its taste, colour or vapour just because you're running away from it. It will remain and hunt you, no matter what it takes.

So I'll advise you to accept the truth about yourself, that relationship you put/found yourself and the family you found yourself.

Accept the truth about your past.

Accept the truth about who you are.

Accept the truth about your relationship.

The earlier you accept this truth, the faster you'll deal with its pain and hurt.

Truth they say is bitter but the truth is, the bitter nature of truth can never make it change its status.

Accept it and deal it with fast!

Tomorrow may be too late.

Remember, only the TRUTH can set you free. So says the Holy Book.

I love you.

I am committed to both your physical and spiritual growth.

One Person's Trash is Another Person's Treasure

Video by: Darh Mann

Review by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

I saw a movie with the above title, it's a short video clip by Darh Mann.

There was a homeless mother who was trying to recycle cans and bottles so as to save up for her about five year old daughter's upkeep.

There was another boy of thirteen years who came to trash his bottle, this single mother approached him and pleaded with him to hand her the bottle he was about to trash.

The boy was really surprised and asked why she needed a trash, the single mom replied him with the above title.

Can you beat that?

Here are the messages I learned and saved up for you from the video review.

Your trash can be treasured by another person who isn't as privileged as you. So if you see this, don't treat the person badly because one good turn might deserve the other.

The other way round is, something you treasured most could be another person's trash. Hence, when you see this, don't feel bad about this, because the way up is the way down.

Life is not static.

Life is filled with ups and downs.

Life could be sweet at times and at other times it could go sour, which ever way it comes, be strong with it and you'll soon come out of it with heads high.

Remember, the Lord is the Lifter of your head, so, don't leave Him out of your plans. He is always there as your Standby, that's only if you let him.

Trust in Him and you won't be disappointed in whatever phase of life you find yourself.

I love you.

I am committed to your spiritual and physical development.

Religion / The Patient Dog Eats... by Glopatience(f): 8:51pm On Aug 08, 2020
Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

Many at times, it takes the grace of God to agree with the above adage that says "The Patient Dog Eats the Fattest Bone" because one doesn't really know how long the patience is really going to be.

Below is a story of grace.

There is a dear sister that looked up on God, she waited against all odds.

This is a sister who had marital delay, it was as if her time will never come. It was as if her reproaches would never be taken away.

Most of her younger ones were married, yet, she clung on to go. Despite her loneliness, yet, she clung on to God.

Many at times, she was forced to wet her pillows, yet, she waited on God.

Shall I tell you of what she got as a compensation for her prolong years of waiting?

The Lord eventually came through for her, her night of sorrow was eventually over and her joy came in the morning.

God rewarded her diligently by giving her the "bone of her bone and the flesh of her flesh".

She got married to a ready made man; a pastor, a man of high valour, a man who was blessed with possessions.

What am I saying? It pays to diligently serve God and patiently wait on Him.

No matter how long it may seem, my dear brothers and sisters wait, I say wait.

Get married to the Lord, no matter what it takes, the Lord will answer you in due time.

I know it takes the grace of God to be patient, please ask for the grace.

Isaiah 40:31"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength..."

Your strength will come when the Lord rewards your waiting period, you'll be joyful, glad and grateful.

PLEASE, WAIT!

Disclaimer: I'm not in anyway forcing you to wait, I'm only encouraging as many who are ready trust in the Lord that your time is here so, don't give up.

I remain committed to your spiritual and personal development and growth.

Religion / How I Overcame The Evil Called Masturbation by Glopatience(f): 12:36am On Aug 06, 2020
Writtten by Edet Crownofglory Patience

In case you missed Episode I, click on the link below to get there.

https://crowninspires.com/2020/08/03/how-i-overcame-the-evil-called-masturbation-episode-1/

Masturbation became an addiction to me.

Oh God! Shall I talk about my numerous incomplete nights all because of this deadly evil?

The guilt I felt whenever I was to attend service was inexplicable, this made me to search for an escape route.

Like I said, I was determined to come out, whether the devil liked it or not. Then I started praying for God's grace to overcome such an irritating act.

Well to start with, I stopped myself from visiting those dirty sites.

I stopped myself from collecting and reading erotic and romantic novels from friends.

I deliberately ignored messages and invites to those raw and dirty sites.

I continually prayed to God to help me, and I started reading the Bible little by little.

I started spending time with friends and family instead of spending time with my phone.

Was this easy for me? No, but I was determined.

In all these, I couldn't bring myself to speak to anyone about the state I found myself, because of the fear of being mocked.

My dear, what have you learnt from my story so far?

Whatever it is, I'm sure you'll agree with me that we need to be careful of what we feed our eyes and mind with, because what you eat is what you'll vomit.

Permit me to emphasize this
I Was Under The Captivity Of The Devil. He Made Me A Slave To Masturbation. He Placed A Scale On My Eyes And Hindered Me From Seeing The Good That The Lord Has In Stock For Me.

Thank God for Jesus Christ in whom I have redemption through His blood.

Are you presently in this situation the devil put me years back?

I know this is an addiction, and it only that takes the grace of God to come out of it, but the big question is: are you really ready to come out of it?

Yes? No?

Well, if your answer is "No". Then, here are few questions I need to further ask you:

a). could you please show me the positive effect of masturbation on you?
b). are you enjoying the depreciating state you find yourself? If yes, I'm sorry to be frank with you, you're on your way to hell.

No don't look at me like that, I'm not a judge, but the truth of the matter is that the Bible says in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..." Since masturbation is a sin, then it's so definite that you're ready to spend eternity with the devil.

To you that said "yes", if you're truly determined to leave that ugly state, then, I say a mighty congratulations to you, because God has prepared a gift for you, shall I tell you about the gift?

Okay, God has prepared an eternal life for you in Heaven and that is only achievable through His son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

To start with, confess your state of heart to the Lord, forsake your sins, ask for His forgiveness and promise Him never to do it again.

Do you genuinely regret what you did in the past? If yes, speak to Him in your best language, He is ready to hear you. Pray from the bottom of your heart, tell Him to forgive you.

If you were genuine about those prayers, then I congratulate you, because the Lord has forgiven you.

Yes, it's that simple. However, remember to always request for the grace to daily live above sin.

How Can You Overcome Masturbation?
Be determined not to allow the devil to cheat you again. Actually, there is no enjoyment in masturbation but punishment. Yes, you're only punishing your body.

Avoid staying alone in a quiet or dark place. This will allow the devil to invade your mind with different evil thoughts.

Delete whatever linkage you have to those evil sites. It is what you see that will affect your mind.

Exit from whatever group you joined. There is no way you can bear it if you still remain in that group, with time, you'll fall back to it.

Do not collect any erotic novel from your friends, instead read godly novels and books, watch Christian movies to while away time.

That's all for now.

I await your testimonies.

You can private chat me if you need any further assistance.

Please, Do Not Allow The Devil To Cheat You Like He Did With Me.

I still regret those wasted years but I know that the grace of the Lord is sufficient for me.

I am committed to your spiritual progress and success.

Religion / I Am A Unique Being by Glopatience(f): 5:24pm On Aug 01, 2020
Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

I was at the farm few days ago.

Don't be surprised, I'm a vegetable farmer. Please, contact me for your vegetables, especially ugu.

While I was weeding on the farmland, I saw a snail in it's hideout. I picked the snail and buried it by inserting its columella, that it's tail dip into the soil.

I went back to work for a while. Fortunately, I picked another snail and I repeated the same process.

Minutes later, I returned to their "burial ground", I was dumfounded. One of the snails was on its way, probably it wanted to quickly get to the market, it was able to escape from its burial ground, not only that, it was really far gone before I found it.
I returned it to the ground.

I picked another snail, and as usual, I repeated the process.

By the time I returned the third time, two of the snails had escaped and were both on a fast pace, while the other was still buried by the tail.

I couldn't believe my eyes.

Despite the fact that I deliberately dipped the tip of those snails into the ground so they won't move, they did.

Then I began to wonder, who says snails are slow? Who says snails have slow pace? Did God say that about them?

Though two of these snails struggled out of the burial ground I created for them, they did not relent even after the first phase of struggle, they moved ahead.

That brings me to ask you some questions.

What is it that the Lord hasn't said about you but that people have been clamouring on you?

Why do you allow whatever people say to define you?

Why do you allow situations to restrict you from getting to your promised land.

See this!

There was a day I held a snail at it columella. I expected the snail to stay calm but no, it kept on fighting and struggling in order to set it self free.

The funniest thing was that, whenever it brought its head out of the shell, it sends its "horns" out. It sends its horn out like an antenna that goes about searching for signals.

Whenever the two antennas touched the tip of my fingeer, the snail retracted its antenna and faced another direction. This was done repeatedly.

The snail didn't allow the circumstances around it to define it, instead, it kept on struggling to find headway.

Could you please apply these lessons to your life?

The Creator created you wonderfully and beautifully well, you are unique. Therefore don't allow whatever anybody says to define you. Be who the Lord says you should be and not what the people around you say you should be.

No matter your environment, dream big. Let your dream be your driving force. Those snails dreamt of leaving that hole and they did, though, they didn't escape

Do not compare your success space to others' because God created each of us uniquely.

Do not allow your situations to bury your head into the ground when the Lord has promised you victory.

Do not allow the world to limit your potentials by agreeing to the name tag the world gives to you.

There are many lessons to learn from these snails.

Kindly share them in the comment box.

Say to the world; I am Unique!!!

I am Wonderfully and Beautifully made.

I don't know where it is, I wonder what's going to happen to it. Please nobody should inform my mummy, let this be between us.

Hello Friend, how did you feel? Were you startled? Okay, why were you startled?

Were you scared for my sake?

Thank you for having me in mind.

Anyways, it's not what you thought/think/thinking.

If what I said could hit you and made your heart skip, how will it be if you wake up one morning to an empty, noisy and cloudy atmosphere?

How will you feel if what you woke up to was to realize that you missed the RAPTURE?

God forbid! Right?

It's going to be more than this heart skip you felt for me.

It is going to be terrible!
It's going to be outrageous!!
It's going to be an Irreparable loss!!!

What do you think?

How will you feel if you to miss the sound of the rapture?

Oh my God!

Give me a heart like Christ's.

Please, help me to live my life daily with thoughts of going to Heaven.

Help Me to act daily with Heaven in view.

It won't be palatable for ME to miss the rapture.

The devil will torment me in a way that I will continually live to regret missing it.

Lord Jesus, I pray that You'll help me, give me the grace not to miss this glorious journey - rapture.

Religion / The Static Signpost by Glopatience(f): 2:12pm On Jul 21, 2020
Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

Have you ever come across a signpost?

A signpost is a platform erected at a strategic point, whose job is to display and pass a piece of information to passers - by.

A signpost has varieties of usefulness.

 It gives directions to people.

It saves people the stress of getting lost e.t.c

However, do you know some funny things about a signpost?

As much value as it carries, it is left static, stranded and stinking.

It only gives directions to people and end up not going to the venue itself, no matter how beautiful the venue is.

It cares about people but much people don't care about it e.t.c

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Who is a Conductor?

I mean a bus Conductor in Nigeria. Most times I see these conductors call in people into vehicles and end up not going with these vehicles to the said destination.

Oh my world!

Well, that's what they're paid for anyways.

By the way, which of these two categories do you belong?

It is my daily prayer to God not to be either of these two; CONDUCTOR and SIGNPOST.

After directing people to the way of the cross, how will you feel if at the end of the day you miss your place in eternity - a glorious home?

God forbid, you said?

Amen! I pray that God forbids that from happening.

Do you know that faith without work is useless?

What and what are you putting in place so as not to be like these instructional materials above?

How do you live your life daily, with or without heaven in view?

As a preacher of the gospel, are you living your life based on your preaching or you live your life on the basis of "do as I say, don't do as I do?". The Lord is the only right Judge.

My prayer everyday is to receive the grace to live my life to please Him and not men. I pray to live for Him and not for myself.

I still look up to Him because I am nothing without Him.

Many times I endure a lot of reproaches for the sakes of the cross, yet, I haven't done anything worthy of Him. As much as I live gracefully.

My words to you today is to live up to the name you bear - Christian; little Christ.

Does your actions and behaviour prove to people that you're an ambassador of Christ?

I am still on this course, walking and praying for His grace to live up to that precious name.

It's rather unfortunate that people no longer read meaning to that name, whereas the first apostles that earned that name worked for it.

What do you think about this?

Are you really a Christian?

Is there more to being a Christian than it seem?

I'll like to read from you.

Please, share your thoughts.

God bless you for being a "little Christ"

COME ON! STEP ASIDE ; LET'S GO TO THE POTTER'S HOUSE.

Written by: Emmanuel Ojatunwase

Not everyone who sees can make right justification based on the observed phenomena. A man sees with his eyes and hears with his ears, and makes justification first with his heart before the mouth proclaims it out. At the point when it gets to the ear and mind, he compromises and become a coward to bear false witness, because of the terror of the rich.

We must learn to stand with justice so as to let peace and harmony reign. Not regarding the weight of influence which you think could satisfy your needs, don't forget your generations will one day suffer in the hands of those you helped for the destruction of another; see right, make correct justification without being bias and your life shall flourish because those whom you've saved learn attitude from you, and will definitely let and keep the trait going.

Have you observed your heart? Tell me what is wrong and what you want. Come on, let's all go heal up because it's left to us to decide our next Step.

I will forever wish to see a Nigeria with orderly and justifiable attitudes..

Good day.

#Stay calm and stay safe.

Religion / Christ Jesus Has The Power by Glopatience(f): 7:40pm On Jul 15, 2020

I was being disturbed by the noise of those tiny things called mosquito.

Alas! With a slap on my phone's screen, I killed the poor mosquito.

Yes, I called it "poor" because that thing that was disturbing my ear and life was just tiny like that, not that it has part of its body at home.

Now see, Goliath was like a mighty man, he was marching all in the name of "no one can conquer me", like seriously?

The nation of Philistine ought to have hanged themselves to death, because the shame and ridicule was too much.

Goliath was brought down by a small boy who used a sling and just a stone.

Well, don't mind that I said "a small boy with just a stone" a lot is behind the scene and that is what we call DIVINE.

I believe you've heard about the gigantic wall of Jericho that fell down when the Israelites marched, sang and shouted around it.

What about when Peter, Paul and Silas were in the prison, those chains and prison doors gave way by themselves.

What am I saying?
That demon you fear so much because it is called a demon isn't much more than that tiny mosquito I pitied after I killed it.

Do you get that?

Don't allow the enemies to cheat you.

Remember God gave us a name that is above every other name, "in the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord!"

What does Revelation says? "They overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and by the words of their testimony."

Jesus' Power, Blood and Authority is enough to bring down all the giants in your life.

However, for the name of Christ and His Blood to work for you, you must surrender your life to Him.

By that I mean you should confess your sins to Him, forsake them and accept Him wholly as your Lord and personal Saviour.

After this, then you'll have the Saviour fight all your battles at the mention of His name.

Stay Pure!

I saw a wall gecko on the wall that was well saturated with light, you should know that any wall with a lighted bulb on it will have numerous visitors.

I was outside the church auditorium taking in my environment when my attention was shifted to that wall.

I studied what was going on like someone who was preparing for an examination.

Then, I saw these flying ants and a member of the butterfly family called wall brown or "Lasiommata megera" flying about in their numbers.

I also saw this "gentle - like" wall gecko doing as if it was minding its business, of course, it was. Catching its prey was actually its business.

Whenever it noticed that any insect wasn't cautious, it attacked without mercy. It ground them to their doom.

That was actually the first time I got an interpretation from the Holy Spirit.

Just like the devil would always be around a believer, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

And any believer that lets down his guards would be attacked by the devil. How?

The Bible says in 1st Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour"

This wall gecko was never tired of waiting for its prey, no matter how long it took.

How much more their father; the devil? He would wait for as long as eternity in order to deprive Christians of their glorious home above.

The devil is never tired of roaming about, seeking and searching for somebody to make his prey.

Would you allow the devil to cheat you by making you miss the home that Jesus Christ went to prepare for you?

God forbid!

If that's the case, then, there is a need for a serious warfare and vigilance.

God will help us to overcome these trials and temptations in Jesus name... Amen!

Stay blessed and

Be Heavenly cautious.

God doesn't come late, He comes at the right time, hence, don't panic.

One of those nights that PHCN will always disappoint and decide to withhold their Power, after all, na them get am.

I entered the room to find my mum being busy in the dark; we had taken the two torches that were available outside.

Well, after a while we brought in the torches and the room was well illuminated.

Then she said something that I reflected on for a while.

She exclaimed with happiness.

"Wow! Before now I was in total darkness without any sign of "light" and here I am now with two sources of illumination; more than what I needed"

Hmmn! What do you think about this?

Many times, we face turbulent situations with no sign of breakthrough, these times we mostly feel like the end is here but then, when He finally comes through for us in a mighty way, He leaves us flabbergasted.

Like I said before, God never comes late.

Remember when Lazarus was sick, Jesus didn't go immediately He was informed that His friend was sick, and when He eventually went, Martha said He was late because Lazarus was buried four days earlier.

What did Jesus do?

He said Lazarus was only sleeping and He raised him back to life to the glory if God.

Do you get that?

No matter the situation in your life presently, the Lord will soon shine His light. He allows you to be in that darkness for a reason, He wants to glorify God through your life.

Won't you rather wait for Him?

I know it's not easy and we tend to become anxious due to pressure from self, friends, parents and family members.

Shall I tell you something?

By the time He will come through and bring you out of that darkness, the light will so shine that'll forget those long years of being in the dark, myself inclusive.

What am I saying?

Please, hold on!
Please, keep calm.
Please, keep trusting!
Please, keep praying!
Please, keep thanking Him!

Don't forget that the Lord is working on your case right now, and He wants me to tell you that "YOU ARE NEXT IN LINE", Amen?

Oh no! Don't allow the deceiver to deceive you, God never forgets His children.

What is His name? EMMANUEL - GOD IS WITH US.

Is He not with you?

Be yourself and keep trusting Him for your testimonies are sure in Jesus name...Amen

God will shine His light on us soon.
Please, keep calm.

Happy Sunday!

But that shouldn't stop us from being humble.
Religion / Stigma: The Stain On Your White Garment by Glopatience(f): 11:15pm On Jul 11, 2020
Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

I was told a story by my mum of how a young boy was caught in the market when he attempted to steal a woman's purse from her handbag.

The boy was beaten, shouted at, and shamed.

At the end of the day, he was let off the hook.

She said she saw him at another time again in the market; going about with his polythene nylon.

Probably he had changed or was still looking for whom to steal from, no one knows.

What message do I have for you from this story?

Stigmatization is a deadly stain on your garment of progress, breakthrough and fame.

You've got to be careful of whatever you do, either consciously or unconsciously, because while you might have forgotten what you did, the person you wronged or the people that were around will never forget that in haste.

There's an adage in Yoruba language that says "The person who poos may forget but the person that stepped on the poo will never forget".

This means that you've got to be mindful of your speech, actions and reactions, because these things go a long way to define/describe who you are to people.

In your customer relationship, this goes a long way to tell on your business.

How do you react and interact with people you meet online?

Don't forget that there's always a tomorrow and the way you treat people is the way you'll be treated by another person.

Enough said, the Blood of Jesus is the only Cleanser that can make you whole from whatever stigmatization that you might be suffering from because of a past mistake.

Confess your sins to your Maker and plead the Blood of Jesus to wash you and deliver you from every stigma.

Pray now and the Lord will answer all your prayers in Jesus name... Amen

One day I saw a cock flew/jump on a tree and what I saw amazed me.

Do you know why?

The cock scanned the tree first, then, it bent it tiny legs to the ground and jumped up, before it eventually spread it wings and landed on the tree.

Do you know what I saw?

It's not easy to get to the top.

As an individual aiming for the top, it takes a lot of sacrifice.

However, you must have clarity of where you're aiming to.

Like the cock scanned the tree before it brought itself to the ground, you need to understand where you're going, then, you need to bring yourself to the ground in order to get to the top.

"How?" You may ask.

You've got to discipline yourself by humbling yourself if you're really set for the top.

I have learnt to humble myself many times in order to get the best in life, I mean as I keep climbing the ladder of success both spiritually and in the circular world. I don't joke with humbling myself.

Pride has nothing to offer you but humility has a whole lot of things to offer you in.

Many times, I learn things from people that are far younger than me, I don't allow the age gap to hinder me from acquiring the knowledge and skills that I need on the path to success.

In life, age is just a number.

If you really want to achieve the best in life, then, you've got to learn from that cock. Humble yourself and the Lord will crown your efforts with success.

What do you say?

What does the Bible say about humility?

Check it out

Proverbs 11:12 "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.

1st Peter 5:5 "Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

Remember that our Lord Jesus humbled Himself and took the form of flesh for our sakes.

As a Christian, your level of humility should stand out.

Truth be told, it pays to humble oneself than for God to humble you.

May God help us to continually be humble in Jesus name.

The Beauty In A Mess

Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

I was walking along a path one day, when something ahead caught my attention.

What could this be? I wondered.

I looked again, I walked hastily in order to have a closer look at the beautiful thing that had caught my attention.

Oh mine! Guess what I saw.

I saw these Sun flowers, they were so beautiful and colourful that I felt like making them my bed and pillow.

The place looked as if it was decorated by someone.

Of course, it was, but not by a natural source but the Supernatural Being.

God decorated that land with those sun flowers.

However, I noticed something awful.

The land where the sun flowers were was a bushy land.

The awful thing is that the land was covered by dried dusty and brownish grasses. This was a great mess.

Yet, these sun flowers stood out.

On a neutral ground, the land, plus the bushes on it weren't any of my concern, but something made me look at their side.
And that thing was the glory of the sun flowers.

That is to tell you that, there is a message in every mess, no matter how rough and tough your past might have been, no matter how regretful or depressed you feel about your past, I want you to understand that the glory that is awaiting you will entice the world.

Imagine the way I hastened my steps just to have a closer look at what was glittering, people will run after you and ask you how you made it.

Forget the mess you're going through right now or that you went through, just know that the good Lord is able to bring out a great message (glory) from the mess of your past.

My sister, forget it, there is still HOPE.

My brother, let it go, the Lord is with you, EMMANUEL is His name.

However, you have to "Accept your past WITHOUT REGRETS, handle your present WITH CONFIDENCE, and face your future WITH FAITH" and the beauty/glory of the Lord upon you will amaze the world...Amen

Go and relax for; "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" . Romans 8:28 (NIV)

I love you with the love of the Lord.

Do you love Him?

I await your testimonies.

The world awaits your testimonies.

Literature / The Narrow Escape by Glopatience(f): 2:56pm On Jul 04, 2020
Dressed in a multi coloured four-piece skirt , with a white coloured to - match shirt, she stepped into her well polished black high-heel shoes, then, she picked up her brown handbag from the centre table and firmly strapped it to her hand.

Tick... tock... the heels of her shoes knocked the floor so hard that people around her could hardly feel peace in their ears and head.

"Your name is Yahweh", her phone's ringing tone brought her to consciousness, she suddenly realized that her phone was ringing.

She swiped her fore finger across the screen of her phone before she placed the phone against her ears.

" Yes, sir."

"I'm on my way, sir" was all she uttered before she returned the phone into her bag.

She hastened her steps, as she anxiously walked out of the corridor.

"Good morning, Sir" Adaeze greeted before she entered his black Toyota Camry car.

"Morning, dear. You look gorgeous."

"Thank you, Sir." She answered sheepishly.

Mr. Adeolu turned the ignition of the car and brought the car to life.

Before she knew it, they were there already, though, no one told her where exactly she was, until she found herself in a room.

It was then it dawned on her that she trusted and followed a married man to an hotel.

This man had called her in without notifying her. As gullible as she was, she followed him in based on trust, I guess, and all of a sudden a fight ensued between them.

Mr. Adeolu started fighting for her clothes, but she blatantly refused to grant him access to her clothes, the man left her clothes and went for her pants.

OMG! How can this be?

This man dragged the pant with Adaeze as if his life depended on pulling off the pant, still, she gave it her best strength, in order to prevent him from gaining access into her pot of honey.

When the struggle became unbearable for the man, he resigned to fate and allowed the girl to be.

That was how the gullible Adaeze escaped being raped by a man she trusted.

Thereafter, she vowed to be more wise and sensitive.

⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩

Are you like Adaeze?

You would follow any man to anywhere in the world without care, after you'll be shouting 'he RAPED me', when you actually caused it.

If you're in such shoes, please, step out of such shoes because it won't pay you.

My dear, wake up.

Fathers are now raping their children, what then shall I say to you?

Please don't misunderstand me. I understand that some rape cases ain't self afflicted, while some are. I was once at the entrance of rape.

The world is already evil, don't add your gullibility to the news, please. Stop enticing and allowing men easy access to your body all in the name of fashion.

In case you don't know, "Your body is the temple of God."

What then is the outcome of fashion when your body had been pierced and penetrated?

A saying goes thus: "Trust nobody". The devil can use anyone to plot your downfall.

Jesus Christ is the only person you can trust with your whole being, including your resources.

Don't look at (wo)man, let your confidence be found in Jesus. " Look unto Jesus."

Have a relationship with Him today, and you'll never regret it.

He will beautify you honour despite your past.

P.S: Tomorrow, I shall talk more on this , please, stay tuned.

Even when you had lost so much in the past, He says "come unto me and I will give you rest..."

Jesus is talking to you. Approach Him with your burdens.

Literature / Relevance by Glopatience(f): 6:17pm On Jul 03, 2020
Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

As an individual, being relevant globally should be your daily goal.

Relevance is deeper than it appears; it takes a lot of pain to achieve the gain of relevance.

The word RELEVANCE cuts across all niches.

Though it is a nine - letters word, but the word is deep and powerful than it appears.

The pen you use at all time wouldn't have come your way if it wasn't relevant to your achievements.

As an individual, you need to be relevant before you can be recognized. Relevance brings Recognition. However, being relevant isn't a day's job, it takes cultivation to achieve that, just like a Farmer does with his land.

A Farmer takes the pain and time to cultivate the ground; there is the: clearing stage (the farmer clears the grass), planting stage (here is when the Farmer buries his crop into the soil), weeding stage (this is the removal of the grass that tends to hinder the effective growth of the crop).

The aforementioned are some of the stages a Farmer goes through before the land becomes relevant to supplying his needs.

After the clearing of grass, the land is half relevant because at that level it becomes beautiful to every eye that beholds it. But then, what is its beauty if doesn't meet the Farmer's needs? Its beauty isn't relevant to the Farmer.

There are stages to follow through on the path to relevance, though, it takes long to get there but then, half relevance is no relevance at all. Hence, don't serve the world with your half - baked cake because it will mar your reputation.

The land needs to be cultivated to the point that it will start bringing forth fruits; this is your joy - results, this will be a great beauty to eyes that behold it.

What would have happened if no one had taken the pain to cultivate the land? I bet you know the answer.

Likewise, for you as a person to be relevant in life, you need to go through the cultivating process; the silent pains, the groaning, the investment e.t.c. just like the Farmer does before finally harvesting.

Mind you, no one will recognize you when you are still at the unpolished stage, just like the Farmer's land in the above illustration was before cultivation.

◾ Not until you walk/work your way through, no one will recognize you. I mean with hard work and not with the ideology of "using what you have to get what you want" (this refers to some people). Though, you can use your pen to get what you want but please, don't get it twisted. Don't misunderstand me!

◾ Not until you start bearing fruits (results) for others to see, no one will count you relevant. I'm not talking you showing off your results.

◾ Not until you remove those stones on your path to greatness, and finally become successful, no one will see you as being a relevant fellow either to your family, society and the nation at large.

Hence, to be relevant is not a day's job.

Below are some steps you need, to walk your way to relevance:

➡ R: Read Always
➡ E: Engage Your Mind Productively & Positively
➡ L: Learn As You Read
➡ E: Educate Others
➡ V: Validate Your Knowledge
➡ N: Nurture Yourself
➡ C: Consistently Grow
➡ E: Enlarge Your Coast

In a nutshell, the key to Relevance is great hard work and the key to Great Achievement is Relevance.

Relevance = hard work + great work + consistency - laziness

Let's meet at the top.

Literature / The Evil, Called COVID - 19 by Glopatience(f): 6:08pm On Jul 03, 2020
Before the pandemic, things seemed good and fine, but the pandemic exposed many hidden things about many people.

People who were managing their covetousness couldn't do that anymore as they ventured into all kinds of illicit act in the name of making a living.

Teens and Youths who were still being groomed and mentored in schools suddenly threw caution to the wind; they lost all virtues they imbibed and possessed evil vices with the new name - "packaging".

Shall I talk about the increase in cyber crime? What about rape? God have mercy! These vices are too numerous to mention.

What about the supposed church goers? They suddenly lost their mandates and beliefs, they became the opposite of whatever good they were before?

What shall we say?

More than ever, this pandemic is rather a great curse to the world than blessing.

Well, if you disagree with me, then, it depends on your perspective.

How do we stop these vices even after the COVID - 19?

Will the world ever regain its peace, sanity and religious beliefs again?

The only place YOU as a person can find peace and normalcy during and after this pandemic is in Christ Jesus.

Please, seek Him while He may be found.

Come to JESUS, look and live.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

Step out from your sins and be saved.

Once again, The Saviour is awaiting your call. All you need to do is to confess your sins and ask Him for forgiveness, then, tell Him to come into your heart and be your Lord and Saviour.

The world awaits your testimony. Yes, I mean you reading this article right now. Share your testimony with the world.

P.S:

What do you think?

Is COVID - 19 a blessing or a curse?

Written by: Edet Crownofglory Patience

Good day, Sir/Ma.

It's the last day of the month of June.

It's the last day of the first half of the year.

God be praised for keeping us all alive till today.

IT IS ALSO A TIME FOR SOBER REFLECTION.

How many lives did you impact in the last six months?

Were you able to fulfill purpose?

I have been critically analysing how I spent the last six months (today is signing out already), and I discovered many things.

One of it that:

There is a need to set goals and make plans for the next six months.

The truth is, if you don't set goals, you'll live your life as it comes, but when you set a task ahead of your, definitely, you'll work towards fulfilling that task. Though, you might be unable to fulfill all, but then, you'll cover a big ground.

Hence, Make Goals Setting One Of Your Priorities In The Coming Months.

Note: Whatever you failed to do in the last six months shouldn't weigh you down, instead rise up to the task and put more energy into place.

It's time to MOVEEEE!!!! This kind of MOVE must cause ERUPTION.

Delay No More; Time ⏱️⏰ is Ticking. Each time the Second Moves, It Means A Whole Lot. (Fine out)

I love to see you excelling in your niche.

HAPPY GLORIOUS SIX MONTHS AHEAD.

Say Bye To June Prayerfully And Welcome July Praisefully!!!
