U mean from Iran?....They only used them in swam attacks to confuse air defense system... which currently Ukraine doesn't have much of. Russia already reverse engineered those & improved on them( part of thier deal with Iran)..They still use better versions for hunting Ukrainian tanks, artillery pieces & isolated air defense system
Very evident especially in Donetsk..
They were able to identify and neutralize heavily camouflaged Ukrainian Tanks.

Religion / Celebrating The Life And Impact Of Apostle Joshua Selman by magabounce(m): 11:01am On Jun 25
Apostle Joshua Selman is not just a name but a beacon of light in a world where spiritual guidance is often sought after. Apostle Selman has become a revered figure in the Christian community for his impactful teachings and unwavering faith in God. As we celebrate Apostle Joshua Selman today, it is important to reflect on the profound impact he has had on countless lives through the ministry of Koinonia.

Apostle Selmanā€™s teachings cover a broad range of topics, delivered with a depth and clarity that captivates his listeners. With a profound admiration for Fathers in the faith like; T.L. Osborne, Kenneth E. Hagin, Myles Munroe, Late Arc. Benson Idahosa, Papa Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, Papa Kumuyi etc, little wonder people see him as a Hybrid of these Founding Fathers. One of the most admirable qualities of Apostle Selman is his ability to dissect the Word of God in a way that resonates with people from all walks of life, making complex spiritual concepts accessible and relatable.

For many, including myself, coming across Apostle Joshua Selman and Koinonia has been a turning point in our spiritual journey. In a time marked by uncertainty and spiritual confusion, in a time where Jokers and clowns have brought christianity to disrepute, Apostle Selmanā€™s teachings have provided a source of clarity and inspiration. Through his personal testimonies and profound insights, he has shown that Godā€™s grace is sufficient in times of trial and tribulation.

The story of how I stumbled upon Koinonia and Apostle Selman is one marked by divine providence. In the midst of personal struggles and a deep sense of loss, his messages served as a beacon of hope and renewal. Despite facing hardships and adversity, Apostle Selmanā€™s life stands as a testament to Godā€™s faithfulness and the transformative power of faith.

As I reflect on the impact of Apostle Joshua Selman on my life, I am reminded of the importance of staying rooted in the Word of God and seeking illumination in all aspects of life. His teachings challenge us to rise above our circumstances and tap into the supernatural grace that God offers to those who believe. The message of taking advantage of being in Christ resonates deeply, urging us to embrace the fullness of our identity as children of God.

The resources and materials available through the Koinonia Telegram group are a treasure trove of spiritual wisdom and enlightenment. Among the many profound teachings, ā€œHow Kings Reignā€ stands out as a reminder of the divine authority and purpose that God has entrusted to His children.

In conclusion, Apostle Joshua Selmanā€™s ministry is a testament to the transformative power of faith and the enduring impact of Godā€™s grace. As we celebrate his life and legacy, may we continue to draw inspiration from his teachings and strive to walk in the light of Godā€™s truth. The journey towards spiritual enlightenment may be challenging, but with faith as our guide, we can overcome all obstacles and shine brightly in the darkness.

Traditional institutions, such as monarchies and native authorities, have a significant role in the country's cultural and social system. While they have a degree of autonomy, they are still subject to the laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Nigerian judicial system is responsible for interpreting and upholding the country's laws, including those related to traditional institutions. Therefore, traditional institutions should answer to the Nigerian judicial system in matters related to:

1. Constitutional compliance
2. Human rights violations
3. Criminal cases
4. Disputes with other parties

Again it is worthy of note that traditional institutions also have their own customary laws and dispute resolution mechanisms, which should be respected and recognized by the judicial system, where possible.

Ultimately, the relationship between traditional institutions and the Nigerian judicial system should be based on mutual respect, cooperation, and a commitment to upholding the rule of law and promoting justice.
Thank you so much for taking time to explain this,
You seem well versed in the constitution.
I wouldn't mind going through some of your articles if you have any.

SLS gave a brief narrative of the events that have led to the present tussle in the Kano monarchy.

I think the powers given to governors to remove and install governors is absolute and can lead to plenty of trouble. The kings are closer to the people and spend longer periods with the people. Politicians come and go, after spending eight years in office at the most. I wonder how a governor who has just one or two years to go, would remove a King who probably has spent over twenty years on the throne. Worse of all is of that particular King is in good stead with his people.

Ganduje knew SLS as a man who would not be cowed. Afterall they made him the Emir to spite GEJ. Whatever the fallout of that, they who made him the King should have managed with him, rather than bring the entire emirates to disrespect, as we presently see.

Splitting the Emirates only served a political purpose and there was no need for that. The people were happy and the district heads apparently were happy. Ganduje brought out the truth in the likes of Bayero about power.

The present governor had done the right thing by reuniting the Emirate. Even though Bayero is no longer the Emir, he should swallow the shame and embarrassment, just as SLS did and return to his original position. For now SLS is the Emir and it is not envisaged that the Federal high court can remove him.
Well said.. But I often wonder, should the traditional institutions answer to the Nigerian juidical system? So we could get direct interpretation of some of these laws

Properties / Addressing The Housing Crisis In Abuja by magabounce(m): 8:03am On Jun 12
Abuja, Nigeria's capital, has undergone significant urbanization and population growth since becoming the capital in 1991. This rapid development has resulted in numerous benefits but has also led to a severe housing crisis. The demand for housing in Abuja far outstrips the supply, leading to overcrowded living conditions, inflated property prices, and an increasing number of informal settlements. Tackling this crisis requires a multifaceted approach involving government intervention, private sector participation, and community engagement.

Understanding the Housing Crisis
The housing crisis in Abuja is characterized by several key issues:

Population Growth: The city's population has grown exponentially, driven by migration from other parts of Nigeria in search of better opportunities and security.
High Demand, Low Supply: The construction of new housing units has not kept pace with the increasing demand.
Affordability: Many residents cannot afford the high costs of housing, leading to a proliferation of informal settlements and overcrowding in satellite towns.
Infrastructure Deficit: Existing housing often lacks adequate infrastructure such as water, electricity, and sanitation, especially in satellite towns.
Affordability and Its Impact
Affordability is a critical aspect of the housing crisis in Abuja, affecting nearly every other area in society. The inability of average residents, especially the youth, to afford housing in the city center forces them to live in areas with poor infrastructure and limited services.

Key Issues Related to Affordability:
High Rental Prices: In central areas like Wuse 2, even a standard self-contained apartment is unaffordable for many. Outskirts like Lugbe and Kubwa also suffer from infrastructure deficits despite being relatively cheaper.
Infrastructure Deficits in Satellite Towns: Areas such as Lugbe, Chika, and Pyakasa face severe infrastructure problems, including bad roads and lack of basic amenities. Despite government efforts in mass housing, high rents in new areas like Lokogoma still make them unaffordable for many.
Vandalism and Maintenance Issues: Vandalism, such as the theft of manhole covers, exacerbates infrastructure problems and indicates a need for better policing and community engagement to address these issues.
Government and Private Sector Role
To address the affordability issue, a coordinated effort between the government and private sector is crucial. Key steps include:

Regulating Housing Prices: The government should collaborate with developers to regulate housing prices, ensuring affordability. This can involve subsidies or incentives for developers to lower costs.
Increasing Affordable Housing Supply: Developing new layouts like Karsana and Wassa with affordable housing options can alleviate pressure on more expensive areas.
Utilizing Unoccupied Houses: Many housing estates have unoccupied and even collapsed buildings. The government should work with developers to complete these projects and make them affordable for the average resident.
Public Awareness and Access to Housing Schemes: Programs like the National Housing Fund (NHF) need to be accessible to all, including low-income earners. The government should provide clear information on how citizens, including e-hailing drivers and petty traders, can benefit from these schemes.
Practical Solutions for Improving Affordability
Subsidized Housing Projects: Implement subsidized housing projects targeting low-income earners.
Innovative Financing Options: Develop flexible mortgage plans and micro-loans tailored to the financial capabilities of low and middle-income earners.
Public-Private Partnerships: Encourage public-private partnerships to leverage private sector efficiency and public sector support to deliver affordable housing.
Infrastructure Development: Prioritize the development of essential infrastructure in satellite towns to make them more livable and attractive for residents.
Community Engagement: Involve community members in planning and maintaining housing projects to ensure they meet the actual needs of the residents.

Conclusion
Addressing the housing crisis in Abuja requires a comprehensive approach combining government action, private sector involvement, and community participation. By increasing the supply of affordable housing, streamlining land acquisition processes, encouraging innovative construction techniques, and improving infrastructure, Abuja can move towards resolving its housing challenges. This multi-pronged strategy provides immediate relief and lays the foundation for sustainable urban development in the future.

Hi everyone,

I'm not here to cause any trouble, but I wanted to share some information that might be helpful for those dealing with the stress of sending certified copies of transcripts. If this isn't relevant to you, feel free to skip aheadā€”someone else might find it useful.

In Germany, graduating students receive their 'Transcript of Records' once, and thatā€™s it. They face the opposite challenge: when applying to US schools that demand official transcripts sealed and stamped from their German schools, they have to figure out how to send those 'official' copies from Germany.

In Nigeria, universities typically insist on sending official transcripts directly to the schools you're applying to upon request. This creates a lot of stress for Nigerian applicants who need to meet the requirement for certified copies. Many try to get their school to send the transcript to someone or an institution first so they can handle it and fulfill the requirements. However, I recently discovered that this isn't necessaryā€”sending the original directly is perfectly acceptable.

If you have any doubts, call your university's student administration office to confirm this. I've tried both methods: I explained the application requirements to my Nigerian university during my first application, and they released the official transcript to me (my mum received it on my behalf since I wasn't in Nigeria). Later, through my research (asking the people I mentioned earlier), I learned that schools usually destroy the documents they receive, which is why they ask for certified copies. They expect you to have one original, which you wouldn't want to lose. Certified copies carry the same value as the original by law, but you can have many certified copies compared to one original. However, if you send the original documents, itā€™s not an issueā€”just know they wonā€™t be returned.

For my next application, I had my Nigerian school send the transcript directly to the German address, and it was recorded as received and accepted. I eventually got the admission. I wanted to share this breakdown for anyone struggling to intercept their transcript because they believe they NEED to get a certified copy. If youā€™re hesitant, you can continue with your current method, but living in Germany has taught me that asking questions can reveal smoother alternatives.

Lastly, I want to say that if something is complicated for you, always speak up and demand a solution instead of trying to put up with it.

Till next time.
Hi Good morning... I recently applied for and have also made payments via uni assist for 2 schools I applied for. I would like to ask what I could possibly expect in the next phase, especially about submitting transcripts. Thank you.
