Nigeria will be a great country the day its citizens start reasoning objectively without bias and ethnic sentiments. How come all the GEJ critics are not disputing the numerous achievements of his govt but are rather busy bringing up superfilious arguments. Are the railways not really working again in nigeria?,are the roads they said they rehabilitated not really done?,are the airports not wearing new looks?,is the revolution in the argricultural sector not real?,are there no youths benefitting from the UWIN and SURE-P programmes of the federal govt?is the unbundling of the PHCN not real or has there really not been an improvement in the power sector?.Even the manisfesto recently released by the APC promised full power by 2019 why not by 2015 ending since they have a magic wand that will make all the problems in Nigeria disappear and as a result won't allow GEJ a second term to consolidate on his achievements..Most importantly what guarantees do the north have that pa buhari will survive the rigours of office through ist amd second term or do they want another excuse to make Osibanjo's govt (in the event of pa buhari being incapacitated)ungovernable again?.Every well meaning Nigeria should think these through and avoid this malicious plot by Tinubu to seize govt by proxy(Osibanjo) and extend his colonialism from Lagos to Nigeria.

GEJ made it very clear that Nigeria were able to combat and contain ebola virus bc we all joined hands together to fight it as Nigerians. These Nigerians include the fg,lagos state govt and its commissioner for health and other personnel, the various nigerians mentioned by fashola and the rivers state govt too. Fashola was only being clever by half and divisive by making those statements bt what else do one expect from APC apart from propaganda and playing politics with everything including boko haram

Lol... This is the "killer" punch

"Recalling how the PDP lost in states where we were very strong in 2003 and 2007 such as Edo, Ondo, Imo, Bauchi, Anambra, and Borno, longstanding members of our great party with good memory will also consider the charge of anti-party activities you made against me as misdirected and hugely hypocritical. It certainly was not Goodluck Jonathan’s “personal ambition or selfish interest” that caused the PDP to lose the governorship of Ogun State and all its senatorial seats in the last general elections." President Jonathan

Baseline: a failed president is a frustrated and dangerous element. Beware Nigerians!

For the ist time in the history of nigeria we have a refined person as president of our dear country.I was highly moved by the civilty of this response and the fact that GEJ does not descend to crudity with those power mongers .Pls maintain ur focus on delivering d dividends of democracy and rescuing our great nation from the cesspit which obj and co had dragged it to. In 2015 we shall let them know that despite their activities we are not as foolish as they take us to be.

However, I don't think she wrote them, someone that knows some of these details may have fabricated it. One thing that is very clear to every sensible person in this forum is that for the letter of such magnitude to be published by vanguard newspaper they are 100%sure of its source and authenticity. Failure which they will receive a barrage of law suits that will fold their media house. Vanguard received the letter from iyabo by fax from abroad where she resides and spoke with her on phone too before publishing same even sahara reporters acknowledged vanguard as their source of the letter.. Now to the silly comments about a yoruba child not being capable of doing such this is the jet age and almost anything goes nowadays, the poor girl is just fed up with all the bullshit she and her siblings has endured almost all there life from the devil incarnate. So for those living in denial and fronting stupid rebuttals and fake denials abt the authenticity of the letter wake up and face reality...One with GOD needs not fight his battles himself..GOODLUCK to you

Politics / Re: Change Of Tactics In The North Checkmates Obj And Catches Jonathan In A Trap by pacido: 11:59am On Dec 13, 2013
Fadelex: sorry to say this, president Jonathan is still a learner when it comes to politics, u can't fight all your perceived enemies at the same time, he got it wrong when he decided to fight amaechi. amaechi is a strong character and obviously has no political future so he has absolutely nothing to lose in getting dirty with d president. today, no governor's forum. this is a forum where the president was hoping to table his 2015 ambition but that is gone now. you can't fight obj, ibb, atiku and others at d same time and have an octogenarian bamanga tukur as your defendant. in 2012 election in US, when the ground became so hot for Obama, president Clinton came to his rescue without which mitt Romney woulda floored Obama. this was d same role obj played in Jonathan ascending to throne in 2011. I know power is sweet and it is almost impossible for Jonathan not to contest in 2015 but he's going in a wrong way. his enemies are increasing everyday. I can't predict where this will end, but it will be easier for a Carmel to pass through needle eye than for Jonathan to win 2015 elections
who told u GEJ needs a NGF chaired by amaechi in 2015?,even the dumbest political watcher knows that jona did a good job of breaking down NGF that was gradually becoming another opposition group by putting it to sword and factionalising them.secondly who told you amaechi is not interested in political positions after his tenure as gov?when his selfish interest in becoming vp to a northern president is the reason for all the rofo rofo fight in rivers state.thirdly u said he can't fight obj,ibb and atiku and survive?seriously?are we talking abt great mandela like men here or thieves who in saner societies should be languishing in jail.If u are good at analysing political events well u should have realised by now that majority of these attacks on jona are coming from politicians with bad track records in this nation with no followership. All that the masses are waiting for to decide on jona's future is his achievements prior to the elections in2015.All these obstacles being thrown in his path makes him even more popular going by the refined way he take them in his stride and rides on. Boko insurgency is being contained so far adnirably, the g7 wahala has been dealt with,ASUU has been resolved and will resume nxt week I wonder they will do come up with next. oh I rem a letter from obj of all pple.I laugh in timbuktu lang

When we look @ the antecedents of the people crying wolf we may have no other option than to hold onto our pockets and watch our backs diligently. Well known enemies of nigeria like Obj who never listened to anyone's advise while in power and ruled like a despot now writes letters and leaks to the public domain to gain our sympathy. Well am still wondering what they will do next after boko haram.G7 and ASUU exploits seems to have collapsed. Funniest thing is that they are too blinded by their antics to realise that the more they attack GEj's govt the more sympathies they garner for him from the masses.Bc hey we are nt as dumb as they actually take us to be and we see right thru them. I was filled with somuch disgust the day I watched Ameachi telling us that his decision to change party having lost the structure of his former party is bc of rivers people..Or the day lamido said that even if his sons stole money that he is not perfect and so should not be held accountable. Two men who are aspiring to lead this country as presido and vice..Terrible

The power mafia holding nigeria down brought obj to power, obj became power drunk and demanded to be made a part of the cabal. This was granted after much threats from obj to topple the applecart. Obj now a member of this cabal can nolonger control his boy,He starts playing to the gallery using d very press he told us he ignores and doesn't read there papers during his tenure as president. Now they want to whip up the sentiments of the masses and use us as a pressure band to retrieve their selfish hold on power and continue the rampage and plundering. .I really shake my head @ the pple who are nt wise enough to see thru there shenanigans and those who believe that any of these have anything to do with the welfare of the masses. The likes of oBJ,ibb, abdulsalami, amechi, wammakka, tambuwal, lamido, tinubu, elrufai and that biggot buhari in saner climes and countries will be either behind bars or given the rawlings treatment.

Nonybb: PACKET OF LIES! Willie Obiano i will sincerely say with the depth of my heart, will NOT CREDIBLY win the Guber race. He is a disguise of Gov Peter Obi. Fegge Onitsha is still a mess. The roads leading to main markets, the purported biggest market in africa some decades ago, are left to further degrade and decay. No public water supply in Onitsha, and perhaps Anambra state as a whole. Peter Obi undisputedly is a christian Bigot. He suffers Nepotism and fanatism. He wants to enslave Anambra in God-fatherism mentality, a clark we had managed to escape in the state during the time past. He favours catholic more than Anglican and choosed willie because he is a catholic. Peter can not boost of modern infrastructural development as obtained in some neigbhbouring state. Wat he knws is how to dole our cash to traditional institute to buy them. I have lived in Anambra state since i was born. I went to the prestigious Christ the College Onitsha so i am not talking as an outsider. I dont belong to any political party and my voice are clearly based as a concerned citizen. We cant afford to waste another 4 years through Obi's mechanical and political controlled puppettes. We need a change but i clearly dont knw how it would come. Im not here to support Ngige either. I am here because i think Willie is not progressive enough. Lets us shun sentiments and elected a new leader that wouldnt tie us to the debts, whims and coprice of Peter Obi. Being an international banker doesnt make u a credible leader. Peter is putting one of his own to further subject us to God fatherism. Let us say no to this archaic and barbaric system of leadership and imposition. Enough is enough. Anambra state must develop. Lets evolve like others and stop living in a world of self denial and reckless disenchantment. Time4CHANGE MY PEOPLE. I dont knw who u might want to VOTE but pls we need a change
am sure u are not from anambra and there is no "christ the college"in onitsha. your write up is so filled with hatred dat u didn't know when u used the APC catch phrase"progressive"while trying hard to hide ur APC bias. What basis did u use in arriving @ d fact that willie is nt progressive enuf?Write ups like these are the exact reason why people visit u APC charlatans with rejection @ the polls bc u guys specialise in standing logic on its head. Watch out for what will happen in ekiti and osun states governorship elections

A big congrats in advance to obiano and APGA bc we on ground know that the supplementary election will be a walkover for them as a result of the bandwagon effect already taking place in the various communities. Anambra people have made a resounding statement that we are thru wit the locust years of brigandage and thuggery and really appreciate the efforts of governor obi in bringing sanity and development to our dear state. Our most sincere hope is that Obiano will continue in his stride.I read various uninformed and atimes outrightly childish comments here and marvel @ how blind illiteracy, lack of authentic info and ethnic bias has rendered many of our youths today. THE REALITY ON GROUND IS THAT APGA WILL WIN GUBER ELECTIONS IN ANAMBRA STATE OF TODAY EVEN IF IT IS REPEATED A THOUSAND TIMES

Reporting from Ekwusigo LG,accreditation in most pooling booths are gradually coming to an end. The turn out of the voters large and unprecedented in some wards. they are military checkpoints @ strategic places and police vans moving around. everywhere is peaceful and people are walking around and standing on line without rancour. The president generals of the four towns in the LG have passed the msg for onward transmission to our people on where to vote...from feeders on ground it is going to be a walkover for APGA with PDP probably coming a distant second

From ur write up I was able to decipher two points made by u.1.they were merely election observers and the guns were not from them.2.complaints about the militarization of anambra state...Dude so we can safely assume that the inec approved observers decided to drive past anambra state where the election is meant to take place and berthed in imo state because anambra is too militarised for their liking. Do we also assume that the voters cards duly registered in anambra and found on them were planted by the police too? PLS DO A BETTER JOB NEXT TIME. we aren't fools.

People like amaechi who foolishly play into the hands of northern political masters will always end up discovering that they are mere pawns in d whole political chess game. No matter the amount of propaganda u guys peddle here. One fact still remains very clear to all in rivers state and in fact the entire south- south and south east. "AMAECHI OUR DEAR GOVERNOR OF YESTERDAY HAS GONE MAD"Since this roforofo fight started no development whatsoever has been recorded in rivers again. Amaechi is now using our allocation to fight his so called political battles .The masses who are @ the receiving end of this abnormality are silently and eagerly waiting for 2015 to make a categorical statement to amaechi as regards his stupidity. Who told him that the south-south after testing the presidency for the first time since the creation of Nigeria will settle for a Vp slot when they are still entitled to another shot @ the presidency(2nd term)?.Has he taken out time to properly scrutinise the antecedents of Tinubu and company and how he sold out ribadu @ the last minute in the last elections ?..SMH

Am really fed up with this ASUU nonsense. The ASUU president is not even affected by the no work no pay action of the FG,after all his political mentor and the governor of kano state whose interest he is protecting by keeping our children @ home just for d sake of scoring cheap political points is there to oil his pocket. I just pity the southern university lecturers who are in solidarity with them bc northerners are never serious when it comes to education and from the day the kano state man emerged as ASUU president I knew there was going to be problems

ASUS should be blamed because its high time they fashion out a different way of expressing angst @ the fed govt. Strikes are no longer fashionable since the ones at the receiving end is always d students. Secondly holding the fed govt to ransome for an agreement signed by the previous administration & which d present adm has shown an appreciable level of goodwill to implement & even mapped out 100billion should be enough to make them call off the strike.THAT'S WHY IT'sREAL THIS STRIKE IS HIGHLY POLITICAL
