The current air force 1 is 32 years old. The current jet was bought by Obasanjo fairly new. It is a 737. Take it back to Boeing or Ethiopian or South Africa and you will have a jet you can use for.the next 10 years without any issues.

What most of you don't know is that, no matter what, fuel will be smuggled out of Nigeria to Benin and Niger because it is officially more expensive in those countries even if it is sold for 5k here.

1. When subsidy was removed, smuggling decreased because it was simply not profitable .
2. After a few days naira was floated What simply happened was that as our naira was continually devalued, it became profitable to resume fuel smuggling. Our petrol price remained stagnant even though the naira had been devalued. So we are back to square 1

3.The implication is that fuel prices have to be raised to combat smuggling. Which the government cannot do easily.
