Family / Re: Is It Advisable To Have A Male As House Help? by UncleN: 8:08am On Aug 14, 2012
farous: A friend of mine came to my house yesterday and told me that he had little misunderstanding with his wife.Cause-the wife is nursing some months old baby and has suggested that they look for a house help to enable her have time and assist in domestic works. The husband and the wife are from different tribes and the wife want to bring a boy of 14-15 years who is from her tribe and has just finished his primary education. The condition is that they will be paying the boy monthly salary, besides the wife is a house wife as she has not been working since they married. My friend objected it and said that he prefer a little girl to male as house help.He told me that he wont feel conformtable hiring a boy of that age,and leaving him in the house with the wife while he goes to work, even though the wife said that the coming of the house help will give her time to be going out to look for what she can start doing whether business or to start working than always staying in the house.Whats your advice pls?

Tell your friend and his wife to get a 10 year old houseboy or housegirl none of them would be tempted to sleep with OR ISN't THAT THE ONLY SOLUTION! Lazy unexposed wicked people!!!
Family / Re: Help! My Marriage Is Making Me Lose My Mind. by UncleN: 7:50am On Aug 14, 2012
She led you to think she would graduate a few years down the line leading you to believe that she would be gainfully employed by the time you wife her.

She'd rather you spend all your hard earned capital you set aside for business on her and her frivolities yet does not appreciate you, resulting in your business going down!

You have not had s.ex with your wife for 7/8 months!

Welcome to the world of Nigerian women where their lifelong goal is to end up getting married with kids, regardless of whether their Husband is sinking or swimming.

I don't blame you for going with your heart and marrying for love, but things certainly cannot continue like this so my suggestion is to find some elders who can talk sense into her before she runs down your life with her poverty mentality.

Saying this though, I can't really blame your wife 100% because the fault somewhat lies with you too not setting aside some contingency funds for your business for unforeseen expenses that "always" crops up when going down the self employed route.

Peopple just like to open their mouth and chat the first shit that comes outta it. For those of you repulsed by this, how many of you know you would not be disabled tomorrow? How many of you are gonna get knocked over by a car? Hhow many of you are gonna fall off an okada therefore loosing your limbs? Been to Igbobi Hospital to see mangled victims of okada reckless driving, with some probably once moronic thinkers like you, but now looking to God for a miracle!!! What a "topic"!!!

ogugua88: Regardless of the disagreement, I guarantee you London would have had more votes if he was speaking like a human being sensibly from the beginning lol. Probably would have won already.

He was speaking reasonably and sensibly in between "sending himself up". Don't know why it is hard for some of you to see that he was just having a tongue-in-cheek banter all along because of his witty and on-point sense of humour. How could anyone miss the raw genius way and the deadpanned delivery. He is not taking this seriously, and none of you should too.

And he would still win this hands down if not for the rigging cos he has that Van Vicker, Ramsey Nouah, etc looks that has girls tripping and falling over themselves. . .

ogugua88:

Take that +1,000 BACK! lol

@London, the problem with AA's is that they think they're the only ones who have struggled. Japan was hit by two atomic bombs and they re-emerged. Jews and the Holocaust? Jews are affluent and run Hollywood. Australians were prisoners from the UK. The ancestors of whites in the US fled Britain. Because AAs have been struck down doesn't mean they have to remain there. If you're knocked down, get back up!

If there's any group that should be crying foul against "the white man", it's indiginous Americans, aka Native Americans. My sympathy is for them and them only.

A standing ovation for this awesome post.

Ehn, so our beauty queen has brains like this, wow, so there is a God afterall grin

Jeez, why are peeps so ignorantly uptight and trying to kill the entertaining self-deprecating battle of wits going on between Royal and London2L !!!.

Now what are we gonna do for fun now, other than watch the vote count. And all we can peep is that whilst the other contestants votes have been stagnant, the ladyboy in the red jacket whose white stitches on his blue Gucci-esque jeans can be seen from the 10,000 miles where I am sitting, is the only contestant whose votes have been steadily creeping up cool

ajayioluwatobi: I SAW THIS POST ON A BLOG PLEASE COMMENT

Hello everyone!
My husband and I intend to apply for a visa in Canada. He has two children (13 and 18) from his first marriage, who live with their mother and aren’t coming with us to Canada. We were told by our immigration agent that we would have to provide a declaration from his ex-wife saying that she is aware that he his immigrating and that she has nothing to oppose to that. Also, we must include them in our process of applying for a visa and deliver medical exams from them also.
The thing is that the relationship between my husband and his ex-wife is very bad and he doesn’t have any contact with his children.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the visa, excluding them totally from our visa process?
Thank you very much for your help.

An immigration agent, a specialist and a pro, already advised you they had to be included in your application, so what more are you expecting to hear?

Mrs Stepmother, why bring this issue here to this Nigerian forum? Expecting probably that someone would direct you to how to get some black magic juju to erase them outta the picture ehn undecided

Lol @ the irony of disgruntled coward voters wishfully thinking they'd be taken seriously whilst using their other multiple ID, to call out and accuse unwitting competitors for using multiple ID in a VANITY UPON VANITY contest. Funny how they have been posting on the hour, every hour too undecided

And what could be funnier than some fugly mucheche and butterfaces claiming they were excluded from the Ms NL competition because they are foreign, hahahaha.[/size]

Romance / Re: Mr Nairaland 2012 Elimination Round 1. . . VOTING IS ON!!! by UncleN: 10:48am On Jun 30, 2012
ogugua88:

Lol. There's no irony. In the finals, yes, to each his or her own. As for groupings? Groupings are very different. You can't tell me that group-style votes are the same as having to select only one person from five remaining. Proof? See how Nayah, who for months has been ranked one of the finest girls of NL Romance and is an NL favorite, literally carried last. More proof? Check out the front page of this thread. Davidylan is last with 12 votes, while that same number has other members in second. If I'm wrong, then correct me.

You are the one who keeps rigmaroling between pedantics and semantics, hence reason I told you to go offer your preaching to the Choir.

At the end of the day, it is as plain as the nose on your face that Chillax blew the competition out of the waters, be it in the group round or the finals round, hands down. People just got jaded and tired of voting cos the goalpost kept shifting hence reason her voters folded their hands.

And please it is unladylike for you to bitterly state that she only won her group only because she was grouped with ugly ladies (your words), you can't hold a candle to her either way. Damn Nigeria and the narcissistic youth it keeps churning out these days.

Each to their own like you said, so end of this discussion that is not going nowhere. Bye bye.

To each, his or her own.

Next time apply this "irony" to yourself before you subject your itchy fingers to the task of responding to my innocuous post.

The World would be a better place if you learn to practise what you preach.

Adaeze003:
Dude.. behave!

I am sorry Miss Ada for slipping from the high pedestal you placed me. Sorry I would instead "behave" by spitting out my dummy and throwing my toys outta the pram, just like you did a few minutes ago because your nomination was not allowed through.

That's me told off then, so I promise you imma start behaving myself from now henceforth cool
