To sit on the right hand and the left hand is what He said it will be for him it is prepared. That is different from the person to make it to heaven.
He corobborated he can do the latter by saying , But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, " Mark 2:10

Religion / Re: Why Do We Need To Fast? by wikitruth: 3:24pm On Nov 29, 2011
I think Jesus answered that question in vs 15 ,
9:15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

What Jesus was saying was that as long as the disciple have the bridegroom (Himself) they don't need to fast but a time willcome the bridegroom will be taken away and then they will have to fast. So he did not rule out fasting but saying it should be for a reason. If you have a feeling that the bridegroom (or whatever you deserve is taken away from you) , you will need to fast. Infact, He said there are certain experiences that we cannot have except if there is fasting and prayer.

Vs 16&17 is important in fasting also.
9:16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Repentance need to precede fasting, (Is.58:1-10).

Too bad. I have experienced such before also. Met a white guy in a train (obviously drunk anyway), he asked me for my country and I said Nigeria. He said he had stayed in Nigeria befoire and started shouting,, 'your country is bleeped, your leaders has bleeped your country,
Too bad for the woman but truth must be said, until we make our country a pride also, nobody will repsect us. The whites (American and European) all respect Arabian but not the blacks.

Travel / Re: Traveling With Nigeria Food Stuffs by wikitruth: 5:15pm On Aug 29, 2011
Be ready to give something to Nigerian custom people. May be a 1000 Naira. You can take any food you like, beans, gari etc, but don't try dried fish and meat except you really wrap them well and possibly put perfume. In UK, of you are unfortunate and they stop and search you, they will give you form to fill and seize them.  You may have to explain what those food are to Oyinbo anyway. Just tell them they are your local foods. But sincerely there are African shops everywhere in Europe and America and you can easily get those foods them, may be just a little bit more expensive anyway.
Good luck to you. Don't carry cigarette oh!!

You will not be allowed to leave the airport. There are quite a lot of roaming you can do at Schipol but I can assure you that you will be bored at a time. I had your type of flight in April and I was very tired. After flying overnigth from Lagos, the first thing on your mind is getting your connection flight to london asap so you can rest. Load you ipod or ipad with what you can enjoy well.
This is the price you ahve to pay however for buying your ticket late and still looking for cheap ticket. As for KLM flight, they are very good. ( I consider them better than Airfrance. Don't even mention Arik).

Career / Re: Does GPA Really Matter In The Labour Market? by wikitruth: 10:28pm On Aug 11, 2011
Good GPA matters t entry level especially and sometimes even at higher level. It provides you a stage but what you do on the stage depends on your interpersonal and other soft skills. These other skills then determine whether people will clap for you and want you to come back to stage or not.
My advise, if you have opportunity to get good grade, please do it and get other interpersonal and social skills also.
Politics / Re: Sambo Tops Boko Haram’s Hit List – Report by wikitruth: 12:42pm On Jul 13, 2011
We just enjoying politising and tribalising all our problems. Please remove Buhari or CPC out of this. Let us face how we want to solve the problem. They have a list, how did they get it? If they can get the list, then let them get those who compiled the list. Do intelligence gathering, bring to book the people behind it. Whosoever, Northerner, southern, foreigner, Buhari, IBB, Edwin Clarke, Ibori whoever. Let us not just stay here and throwing stone at ourself.
Those who are involved in ensuring our security should stop giving excuses and get to work. Afterall, they just made case to increase their salary sef.

Politics / Re: Post-election Violence: Northern Christians Reject Probe Panel Chairman by wikitruth: 9:31pm On May 16, 2011
It will be good to have represnetations of all stakeholders in the panel really but I think the main emphasis here should be the competence, character and anticedent of people in this panle. Do they in way have previous training or experience in such things as intelligence gathering and security issues. Are they men and women who can call a spade a spade? How detribalised and unbiased wil they be?. Most ttimes these types of committee is just to find jobs for some people. Somebody should please remind me of any committee whose recommendation has been made public and/or executed by PDP govt in the last 12 years. I cannot remember any. Only God knows how much is their budget!!!!! Na wah oh.
Politics / Re: Is The Fg Really Serious About Improving Power Supply? by wikitruth: 11:45pm On May 09, 2011
We don't need prayer to get the power probelm solved. Go ask all thenations enjoying uninterupted electricity how many hours they pray to ge the light. In Nigeria, we put political deception into everything. Most of these power plants the vp is mentioning are turbine plants installed with no pipeline to convey gas to them or provision to produce gas to feed them. There is also the need to complete the prvitisation and bulkanisation of PHCN exercise also. At the pace we are moving, may be we can have uninteruppted light in the next 20years!!!
Politics / Re: I'm Predicting Buhari Will Win On Saturday! by wikitruth: 8:46pm On Apr 15, 2011
Vote for GEJ and OBJ, Annenih, OLEbode, Iyabo and PDP 40 thieves will reap the fruit of your vote, laugh at you that you are "mumu", will be richer and you Will be poorer, then in 2015, they Will come up with another person to deceive you again, the 2019 deceive you again.
Nigerians please vote Goodluck so that those who have invested in his campaign Will not go bankrupt. PLEASE VOTE PDP again so PDP members that lost in the NASS election or other elections can become ministers, ambassadors, directors of federal parastatals and Nigerians can queue in their houses and they count few Naira for you to pay your children school fee or pay your hospital.
It reminds me of a song that we were told that flies sings in those day, I am coming from the latrine, I have not washed my hands and legs, just give me a little space on your food and then I Will infect you with cholera.
As for me and my house BB2011.
Politics / Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by wikitruth: 6:44pm On Apr 09, 2011
I am not surprised because I already know you dont have sense. If you do, you have realised that the poster did not say the insulted or harrased him for having an opposing view or for belonging to another party. He did not also say that they forced him to vote for PDP and shouted PDP to him. What he said is that they ' accused me of trying to video happening at the polling booth'. They were only concerned with the fact that he recorded them and whe they did not find any recording they let him go. Nowhere did he said they took on him because he belonged to another party. He even confirmed thier accomodative attitude when he said that 'As a matter of fact, I was gisting and chatting with the pdp guys just before then.(ie just before the recording)You are really an Olode but I am not surprised. Only Olodes support thier fellow Olode Buhari,

What really happened was that the guys were lining up people to vote for second time. Then one of them shouted and said, "this guy is recording". I actually thought he was just making fun of me but all of a sudden he came back with some others boys and they all sorrounded me and saying I shld show them my phone. The only thing was just that they were not even aware I support another candidate, there would have been no mercy for me. The guy that shielded me even thought I was pdp. It was a narrow escape for me really.  They started shouting, I have come from my place (SW) to disturb them. Really, really crazy.
Politics / Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by wikitruth: 5:24pm On Apr 09, 2011
I escaped been lynched today by PDP guys who accused me of trying to video happening at the polling booth. It was really crazy, b/c I was not saying anything against anybody. As a matter of fact, I was gisting and chatting with the pdp guys just before then. They seized my phone but could not see any video recording in my phone. If not for good rapour I have with a politician there, those boys carried planks and are ready to beat me. One of them even carried hammer. They accused me I was recording because I am not an indigene of the area. I stay in ND but from SW. God have mercy on us. Terrible, terrible really!!! Pls don't ask me what the securities guys are doing because  they were just looking. Really terrible, I must confess. I just cats my vote and was waiting for them to start counting and not doing anything even though I saw people voting two times and they refused to give number of accredited in the unit. The incident really saddened me about how people can just go against you simply because you are not one of them. Again, one boy that knew me as a SW person, had to bundle me away in his car secretly. There is no law in this country really and we have a long way to go. May God save Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Did Anybody Listen To Buhari On Radio Nigeria's Programme (eagle Square)! by wikitruth: 1:39pm On Apr 06, 2011
I have read a lot of argument and counter argument on why people should vote Buhari or Jonathan (or other presidential candidate). I think in all, the questions every Nigerian should answer before going to the poll is
1) Are we happy with the way our country is?
2) Is corruption our greatest problem?
3) Do we have any hope of confronting this menace called corruption?
4) Will my candidate be able make do his electoral promises?
Let all these guide you in voting and not sentiment of, he is from my village. It does not make any difference whether is your village man eating your money or an outsider. The reality is that you don't have what you ought to have.
If any candidate can fight corruption and God fatherism, I believe the job of governance is 70% done. One major factor in governace (same as management) is ability to appoint right people for right job.
So Nigerians, don't forget that you reap what you sow, if you sow in corruption by voting corruption, you'll reap corruption, if you vote int cleaning this mess, you'll reap the same.
Let us all know that we are in a very deep shit.Just name it, our education is messed up, infrastructure is non-existnet, health care system, zero, security absent,. We need a change.
As for me, I am going for BB, the only ticket that guarantees election promise credibility. Buhari is not a good orator but in the 70's he delivered refineries, in the 80's he delivered inflation reductions and discipline, in the 90's, he delivered roads, hostels in Unis, drugs in hospital etc, in 2011 he will deliver.
Long live Nigeria.
Politics / Re: The Curious Incident Of Mohammed Abacha: The Limits Of Mythomania. by wikitruth: 5:32pm On Apr 02, 2011
I know it is very difficult for some Nigerian to believe that someone that has been in govt is not corrupt but Buhari (and few others Nigerians also) have demostarted that this is very possible. The Abacha's son case has been explained over and over again, even in the recent channels tv interview,Buhari revealed that he does not support Abacha's son but what can Buhari so if court gave order that he is the CPC candidate in Kano.

I know if this Abcha's son is in PDP or ACN, he would have been a member of trustee, main campaign financier and a godfather but NOT so in CPC. Buhari is a man of integrity. This will not in any way impact will this have on CPC 's anti-coruption fight after May29 because we will be working to remove immunity clause and prosecute any corrupt official. BB2011 IS IT!!!!
Politics / Re: Just Arrived Nigeria And Its Gej All Over The Place. by wikitruth: 10:59am On Apr 01, 2011
I suspect (I may be wrong) the reason why you came back to 9ja is to have your own shares of campaign largess and that is why it was only GEJ you can see. If you have met with guys who want true change in Nigeria. You would have seen BB2011.
PDP have spent billions of Naira in the last 2 months on jamboree, campaign, mobilisation etc. The foreign reserve was depleted for that purpose and that is why you think you see PDP. I don't know where you come from (US, UK, Asia) but you need to ask yourself this pertinent question and answer without sentiment what ur GEJ stands for and whether Nigerians don't deesrve good things like other good nations.
We all agree that our major problem is corruption and indiscipline and there is no way we can move forward as long as these are not taking out of our way.
BB is the only brand we can trust with that.
Please know that corruption does not know tribalism or religion, from government to organisations, banks to parastatal corruption is endenmic in our system.
I suspect strongly that most youth supporting GEJ d not just want this corrupt system to be cleanse b4 it is their time to benefit from the corruption or simply our of ignorance on what Nigeria can be without corruption or just out of pure sentiment.
Before you cast your vote, please note that you reap what you sow. If you sow your vote into corruption, you'll reap the same and if you sow in change, you Will reap the same also.
GOD SAVE Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Do Non - Northerners Support Buhari? by wikitruth: 2:35pm On Mar 26, 2011
A Nigerian. From south west, Christian, educated (UK trained engineer).
I don't just support Buhari, I also open people's eye and disabuse their mind on why BB2011 is what we need now.
Jerry Brown is the new governor of California today, he was once governor of the same state btw 1979 and 1983. Arnold (like your celebrated youths like Bankole, James Ibori, etc ) messed up the economy of that state and they have to bring back this 'old' good man again. Please don't tell me California is just a state,  because it is bigger than Nigeria in land size and she is responsible for 13 percent of the United States gross domestic product (GDP).
Wake up Nigerian, our greatest problem is indiscipline and corruption, and only BB2011 ticket will guarantee this. Corruption and indiscipline is why we don't have power, roads, good schools, well equipped hospitals and other infrastructure. This is our chance to get it right. Forget about undue sentiment and tribalism. One vote for tow honest mean. Buhari Bakare 2011!!
Politics / Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by wikitruth: 10:27pm On Mar 18, 2011
Buharis is not an orator. Shekaru was the best in terms of oratory but I can't take his word to the bank. Ribadu was taken aback and failed woefully when the Tinubu question was asked. He defended the man he once told us and we know is corrupt. He was even lost in thought when asked the second qn, the moderator had to repeat the question. The last question Buhari answered was very satisfying to me, our greatest problem in Nigeria is Indiscipline and Corruption and was backed by very eloquent Shekarau. Buhari has the track record in confronting these monsters.

Politics / Re: I’ll Remove Immunity Clause – Buhari ! by wikitruth: 4:51pm On Mar 01, 2011
Good intention by the truthful general. What you guys don't know is that immunity does not cover people in the national assembly and so they have nothing much to lose by passing it. Good intention. If this is done with FOI then political office holders esp in executive will know be more accountable to the people and have no hidding place.  GEJ, you see yourself so, celebrating the likes of OLEbode (ok Olabode) George. BB2011 IS IT. No religious, ethnic or ignoramus sentiment!!
Politics / Re: Buhari Bakare Manifesto - The Best Ever! by wikitruth: 1:46am On Mar 01, 2011
@ Pataki, What the bible says is 'Do not be UNEQUALLY yoked with unbelievers@? What fellowship has light with darkness? The key word here is UNEQUAL and it explained it further., by mentioning light and darkness. You are UNEQUALLY yoked when you join them or corroborated with them to do bad things.
I will add to the questions they have asked u,
Why are you only holding discussion on Naira land with unbelievers,
why do you go to Dubai, why do you fly emirate,
why do you work in the same organisation with people who are of different religion?
Over righteousness dey do you. Even Jesus eat and dine with unbelievers and prayed that God should not take us out this world but should keep us. Like Pastor Bakare has said, YOU CAN HAVE CONTACT WITHOUT CONTAMINATION.
Politics / Re: Buhari Bakare Manifesto - The Best Ever! by wikitruth: 1:34am On Mar 01, 2011
This is far better than I will promise less and do more of GEJ. The credence in any word is in who is saying it. Buhari/Bakare are men of their word that is why they are diffrent from people deceive people. Sure this is a summary of what they will do. If they are to put the whole flesh and put it online, you will be too bored to read it. BB2011 IS IT!!

Politics / Substandard Univs by wikitruth: 10:41pm On Feb 10, 2011
Universities are not just established for political reason. The existing fereral and states universities are grossly operating below capacities with dire lack of infrastructure and human resources. This new unis definitely going to be worse as they are just product of political maneuvering and campaign and very likely to roll not unbaked graduates. God save Nigeria from the hand of PDP and incompetent academicians. If you have ever been to a university in UK, Europe, US, Canada and other parts of the world you will appreciaet better what I am saying. I belive it is better to have only one standard uni than have 100 substandard ones.
Travel / Re: Your First Visa And Interview At An Embassy by wikitruth: 3:31pm On Feb 04, 2011
There was no interview, I had scholarship to study in the UK and all I needed to do was to submit my passport to the scholarship body and picked it up later. Subsequent UK visas either for business or personal visits was even a lot easier, I get them processed in less than 48 hours. Getting Schengen was easy also, my company usually apply and get that for me. When I went to US embassy, it was just a chat btw me and the visa officer whose concern was just why I am not a civil servant and in few mins I was asked to picked up my passport after 2 days.
Believe most people have problems when they are not down to earth though some visa officers can be crazy sometimes.
