With these happening to us, i think we can use the same social media by exposing the slave trade we're going through in the hands of these NICCURS by sharing the message on facebook, whatsapp, viber, bbm, twitter and so on. We can come up with an accepted hash tag on twitter.
If all of us do it together and urge our friends to keep sharing and talking about it, i think it will be the right step in the right direction.
Else, we should wait till the end of February to be paid... I for one person is still enjoying MAMA THANK YOU and has not and Wȋ̊ℓℓ never borrow a penny till February when we're paid

My colleagues, my candid advice is we should look for assistance somewhere else if we can ά̲̣̥πϑ manage ђã†̥ we have for now, no matter how little it is. This situation is happpening now because we J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊ƨ̣̣̣̇̇̇̇τ̣̣̥ started. Once everything has been sorted out, we will always receive our salary every month. Endurance is the key. Newly Recruited Teachers in Akwa Ibom State, that resumed work on March this year, were paid after working 4 good Eight ( months. Being october and since then, they have not received the arrears the govt. Promised to pay them uptill date. Their statistics is just about 1,450 compare to our number.

It's obvious that ours will never be like their own. Though it is very painful mostly in this festive period, l know God is at work and will make it happen very soon.

Its quit paethetic to most of us this season. I have not gone out of the house since morning because I dont want any child or even a youth to tell me DO XMAS for me and I will incapable to do something. So to avoid such I lock up myself in the house alone. Pls God come to our aid and touch the heart of this pple to make them release our salaries.

( 1). 2003 n 2013 re not thesame time.(2). d cost of living in 2003 n 2013 re incomparable. (3)2003 was analog age while 2013 is digital age ie. There re many softwares nw dat aid speed n accuracy in compilation of data. (4) d stress n scrutiny 13000 passed through underscored every other year teachers recruitment in d state. (5 )there should be innovation to d best rather than system deterioration or stagnation (6) d recruitment includes non indigene who re from far distance n may travel far (cost of transport is exorbitant) (7) and to crown it all.... december is a sensitive month of celebration, marking d end of d yr but, here we re, running into burrow of hide out, so as to avoid humiliation from our creditors.bad omen

Those are backyard employment and cannot be compared to ours.
Ours is an open employment in which some of us were been posted to the rural areas.

Patience is not easy, but in this situation that is what we need. It is still good that u have Job and u are expecting something by 2014 than not having job and expecting nothing. Before banana begins to grow monkeys were eating. God said, and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. It is working for our good. Be thankful 2014 is few days to go.

As for me, it is a big pity that my students Wȋ̊ℓℓ not be learning anything meaningful from me until I'm being FULLY PAID. It might not be the best option but the government has played the drum and I Wȋ̊ℓℓ be dancing to the tone.

I think the most annoying thing in this unfolding turn of events is the deafening silence on the part of the employers; no statement from the permanent secretary, commissioner for education or the governor! It is as if 13000 men and women are being taken for granted, and it is most unfortunate!

If you are owing someone and it is time when his debt is due to be paid, it is only reasonable that you pay him up, or at least calm his nerves by pleading for more time if the money isn't available then. Government's silence at this time is the height of insensitvity!
