once you get your papers in US,you can start filing for her to join u in US but it may take up to 4years(not very sure)

If you have gotten married, or had additional children since entering the DV lottery, or your immediate family situation has changed, include notification of these changes by sending an updated Form DS-230 to the Kentucky Consular Center.

You must deny the applications of registrants who list on their Form DS-230, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, or their Form DS-260, Online Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, a spouse or child who was not included in their initial entry, unless such spouse or child was acquired subsequent to submission of qualifying DV entry. The spouse of a principal alien, if acquired after registration, and prior to the principal alien’s admission, or the child of a principal alien, if the child was born after registration or is the issue of a marriage which took place after registration and prior to the principal alien’s admission to the United States, although not named on an application, is entitled to derivative DV status.

Kemizone2003,I am not doubting anything,I am not saying it does not exist;as a matter of fact I experienced it too last year, but I am just pointing out the diplomacy behind the issuance and refusal of dv Visa in our country Nigeria.In my own case I paid $820x5 for myself and my family excluding Kamrass medical fee, passport,police report and other logistics. Infact I searched the internet than google,not only that, I printed all the facts and figure you highlighted out and went with them to the embassy.It wasn't funny,I met a very rich lekki woman who said she slept 7 days at the beach praying, when I heard is now $330 I felt cheated and at thesame time relieved.

1.Nigerian working at the embassy are more cruel than the foreigners
2 Some Nigerian shaddy activities all over the world subjected us to all these agonies, because people tend to remember your bad deeds faster than the good ones.

I want to conclude that if you know your right,and do good you will be as bold as lion.

Thank you missanie,I dont think this is how it would be this year. Personally,i feel the cut off will vary from that of last year putting in my mind that only half of total winners results have been released. Though many winners have low CN but i feel KCC is doing things using another format.I have a feeling that those that have their 1NL now may conclude their interview before Feb next year while the october winners will be interviewed btw march and Sept 2013.
But lets wait and see the cut off for November. from there,we can start giving an approximate figures for the remaining months.

Then when u log into the ESC page the 1NL Would have been replaced with the 2NL (which contains my interview date and location.)

I hope you have not accidentally deleted the notification letter or maybe your email client sent it into your junk mail which eventually gets deleted automatically.
This should not be a big deal. You can still check your status with you notification you used to check that you won even without the email. If they have updated your case file it will show up there. If your case number is below 5500 and still haven't received your 2NL, then you can email KCC or better still you can wait for a week and email them if still no 2NL. But make sure all your documents are ready to go whiles you wait for 2NL.

Hello house, although no one is under compulsion to try this out, but I just felt I should share out this experience: If you must get your NPC letter of attestation stamped, sealed and signed (authenticated) @ the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs then take note of the following:
1. Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs is located just opposite the Federal Secretariat at Abuja.
2. Once you arrive, you will notice a barrage of Nigerians that have come for similar thing. Some for other countries: I met a man who said his was Austria.
3. At the gate, the security men will tell you clearly that they attend to sealing of NPC letters only from Mon - Wed and from 8.00am to 12.00noon. Please, take note of the days and time so that you don't make a wasted journey.
4. When you enter, you will be attended to: You will be given an account no. for 1st Bank to pay in N1,200 in Foreign Affairs Account. Make sure you come with your e-payment slip
5. Submit to them with all your documents for authentication and it will be returned to you sealed with an official receipt of the N1,200.
6. If you must collect it same day, sorry Nigeria factor / corruption comes to play: You pay N1,000 per document. i.e. if you have court declaration of age and NPC letter of attestation, you tip N2,000 to police officer and he takes it inside for you and gets it fast tracked. I met a police officer doing that runs.
7. If you want to follow due process, you will get it authenticated the following week wednesday without paying any additional naira outside the official N1,200 which covers all your documents.
8. Remember, due to the insults, counter insults and arguments that ensued in the previous threads, I want to reiterate that you are not under any compulsion to authenticate your document at the foreign affairs. Please, don't use my write up to start another long arguement. I no get strength to fight or abuse o! Leave me jeje o!
