mrblack: i just got my malaysia visa and heard that they do pocket search in the malay airport to know if you have pocket money or not,is bta a must?if yes how much minimum?and where in nigeria i can get the cheapest flight ticket to kuala lumpur and when to book?and how much will it cost me?i look forward to hear from you soonest.pls no attacks. U dont need any BTA,thats for old times because its cashless policy that every country operates now. I have been in and out of Malaysia 2times d past 6months and no one asked for bta. Also i have 3 friends who traveled to the uk 5months ago,no bta.I know this because i personally gave them guide and booked their tickets. Do a search on ticket and book with your card, dont trust any individual to book cheap ticket for u else u might get to regret it in Nigerian airport. In other words, get a genuine ticket and make sure its to n fro. Depending on what u ar going to malaysia for,if its tourism, u better have hotel booking to show at immigrations when u land.If its studies, then the school will send reps to pick u up.Wish u good luck. |

All doubters should come to Warri and we will show you live how it works. Its very simple, all it requires is a hen to test it on so u dont feel any danger yourself.Abi una tink say the egbessu fight na tori?Even the then governor of delta state Ibori was shocked at the kind of bullets used by jtf,yet these Ijaw youths werent being felled.Doubters should also ask about Emede and Igbide war in the 80's then they will know for sure its real. Some works temporary, some fail with much pressure and some never fail at all.Bring knife, axe, cutlass, any gun but it wont they wont pierce. If u have something to make it fail then your own gun will kick back and hurt you instead. There are cases where your hand will hang in d air if u want to use knife or any weapon to hit the target frm behind.I trust what am talking about because a guy I knew then had it and was never killed with such things but beaten to death by the police for arm robbery. Also a guy once saved our asses(onlookers) during the Warri crisis,by asking everyone to move in front of him as sporadic fire from behind hit him countless times without going thru. This was as a result of resistance of the Ijaw youths which infuriated jtf to turn against any passerby or onlookers. 1 Like |

@Costa2000, try get your information straight. Happened around some mins after 8 in the morning at Esisi round about close to okere round about,ok. The guys where never caught (police lies) to show they are working. It was a rescue mission for a member of a kidnap gang. Only 3 wardens died, 1 on the spot and two others taken to central hospital. The other death recorded was of a prisoner who couldnt escape the gun shots. Personally, I know one of the late warden "papa Rita" they call him and the other two also live in their barracks situated in my former neighborhood. If you know Obahor/Okpeki then u will understand what am talking about. It was crying galore yesterday in the neighborhood, not something ever seen there before. May their soul rest in peace. Area, shine your eyes o cos as the Omila get-away okada don stop now the big bros dem dey vex sha. |

My friend dont confused Agbor with Warri, okay.Agbor town is quite far from Warri so tell your story straight and stop trying to make warri look bad. The writer even lied that he was there, lol.Someone just said the right thing now about it happening in Agbarho.Thats where it actually happened and the twin brother of the guy that was killed by the night guard was also gunned down by the police when they got there.END OF STORY,Malam,no spoil warri name for wetin happen outside warri o. |

dasparrow: When you talk of Warri,u ar talking of number 1 rumour ground in d nation.I tell u categorically that some people havent even seen any case of kidnapping but they can tell u a thousand dem-say story of it.Its not as horrible as they try to paint here, okay. Its happening here but the rate of robbery is more alarming.A guy here said 7pm at enerhen jnct, jakpa rd,airport rd is like 12midnite,big lie.He shud check his info very well cos people still enjoy nite life here and neva any fear like crisis situation the OP n some talk abt.If u want authentic info,go to marijuana joint in Agbassa, night clubs in palmgroove n airport rd then listen closely. If u ar a true wafferian,it wont b hard 4u to hear real stories n identify some of d bad guys who call themselves "federal" |

WebSurfer: This is so true, last time I was in warri, I had to run for a safe place n lay down to avoid flying bullets , the govt of †ђξ state isn't doing anything about this, its getting worse everyday. Am suppose to be in warri 2morw again, n I know I will start seing strange this like this again, same week I was there, a man in my street escaped them after a lot of battles, luckily the man was not an easy man as he uses charms, the kidnappers ran and left 2 vehicles and bikes including 2 guns, imagine, this is not a I heard it story, I heard the gun shots that morning n witnessed everything.. Talk as if warri is a war zone that people always hide indoors.Che kidnappers no dey your place of abode? |
![]() |
Omen100: By indicating all Urhobos in those areas,i say u know nothing about warri's kidnapping issue.cases of kidnappers that were caught happened to be guys living in the town of warri but take their victoms to those villages outside warri. |

Propaganda and allegations by political opponents that weren't substantiated. We know OBJ is not a saint but he's still number 1 when it comes to civilian president in Naija. |
![]() |
The man stated fact and some are here condemning him.Everyone here making comments has one or two dirty linen but that doesnt stop us from commenting on things.OBJ stands out in the fight against corruption as opposed to Yaradua and our south south man GEJ.So I give him praise for having the guts to tell them the truth as it is in this country. |

After giving the banker 10% bribe u are out here calling him a thieve.Whereas he openly made you understand you cant pick the money without having an account with the bank or have someone with an account sign for you.You are the one who forced the transfer and the banker seeing your desperation decided to get his share by breaking the transfer clause.Simply put,you should had asked anyone around the bank with account there to reference for you.Its being done everyday in the bank and I have signed for people I dont even know.So like a some ppl said here,I think this man has something to hide or he is just being ignorant. |

Some people like to promote stupid rumors without proper verification.Talking about rumors, our Warri can be counted to be number in the federation because thats what most people want to hear.Who said people are running from Warri because of kidnapping menace?Come over to warri before you spew that rubbish.I think you are only angry with the wicked Government but that doesnt give you the right to lie about the state of security in Warri.Kidnapping has drastically reduced in Warri as compared to other cities. It was never rampant as robberies here in Warri.Go to the East and you will know Warri is just a learning ground when it comes to kidnapping. Please, you guys should try get your facts well before writing rubbish that mislead the masses. |

It baffles me when i see people doubting these things some times. We are in Nigeria and juju surely exist here.I witness the warri crisis with my own eyes and saw how human body resist the Nigerian military's bullets on different occasions.I know of an armed robber that couldnt die from police bullets when captured but brutally killed by other means. When it comes to levitation, walking on water and other wonders, maybe you guys should try google criss angel and see wonders.Thats someone thats alive in the usa today.I have some of his videos and they are amazing feats. |

For various reasons one can come out with a 3rd class.I know of a sharp guy that came out with a 3rd class due to circumstances beyond his control.Just shake it off and forge ahead. If you want to further in Nigeria then you can start with PGD because no Uni here will accept 3rd class for masters. In the UK,there are schools accepting 3rd class as long as you have the money. Its mostly the cash they are after and not the grade you graduated with.Try Bangor University in Wales, they gave 2 people i know very well admission with their 3rd class degree.Pls,dont let negative people put you down. You just have to be strong and think clearly on how to handle the situation. If u can afford UK education go for masters and they will surely give you admission. 2 Likes |

@dayo1401,how much does it cost to go through an agent and how does one get to them.I am going to apply in lagos.Pls let me know |
![]() |
Guys,i got my adjusted CAS letter today showing the half tuition fee paid and i am applying by Monday.I just hope its not too late as the school starts registration Tuesday 21st.Though it was written in the CAS letter that students have up to one month from 21st to com for registration. The thought of deferring comes to mind but having come this far,the decision is hard to make.U might be wondering why i have to wait till monday, its due to the fact that i just realized the money in account would complete 28days by friday and i hope to transact on dat day to avoid any closing balance hassles. I wonder if its advisable to go ahead or defer till next yr.Good guys in the house,i urgently need your candid advice.Though,i have always been the it-will-happen-if-its-meant-to-be type but i still need advice from experience guys here. |

@segbas,the school is Bangor university. Thanks to the good guys here who give needed advice and information.I am not sure about the agent thing but it wouldnt hurt trying one at this stage. You guys should try give me the contacts of any of the agents and the fee they charge.I should be in lagos by monday due to the issue of transcript and applying for visa by tuesday.Already called the records office and they want me to come in person to talk to the boss about getting a personal transcript. My hands are crossed now and i will be optimistic things come in my favour. Thanks alot to you guys here. |

I would like to stress here that the fee wasnt a pre-requisite for getting the CAS.The sch demanded a conditional fee of 250pounds which i already met but people have been telling me that paying half the tuition fees gives me a better chance of getting the visa.Anyway,i wasn't successful in paying the half tuiton fee today due to circumstances beyond my control. After much to n fro movement,i was asked to visit the branch i opened the dom account to sort things out but it was already 4pm.Guess tomorrow is another day.UBA finally told me that they convert to the desired currency of payment as indicated in the transfer form before making the payment . After much stress for the day,i came home and saw the CAS letter in my inbox. It gives me extension up to a month from date of registration. It says about qualification as follows: Documents used to assess academic ability: Academic: Qualification Awarded: Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree Institution Attended: University of Lagos Please bring your original academic certificates together your passport and visa with you to Bangor for verification when you register for your studies (uncertified photocopies of degree certificates are not acceptable). So what do you guys suggest i submit for the visa application?I do not have my certificate as i was told to come get it December.Anxiously waiting to get good advice from you guys.Every na God sha and we pray He backs us firmly. |

Thanks scobyy2007,i dont have any issue with account and mai9ntenance funds. Thanks to some of the post here i got that taken care of.But when i went to uba to pay half fee through my dom account this morning i was told to check with the bank in wales to see if they accept dollars in their account.Moreso, was made to believe that there would be a fee for conversion to pounds there.I wonder o.This no be extra expenses so.Abeg make someone tell me how to make swift payment that will reflect there in time. My ears are wide open.Oya give me gist. |

Hi guys,i need ur help on this visa issue.Still waiting for my CAS letter, called the sch today and was told it would be emailed to me in few days time.I have met the conditional offer deposit and about paying 50% of sch fees tomorrow. My issue has to do with the transcript thing. Some say its good you add it to the visa application as stipulated in the guidelines and others say it doesnt matter.I called the vfs center and was told since it has already been sent to the sch in uk,i shouldnt bother about adding another one to my visa application.Yet,i am not satisfied thinking what the site said about documents used to get the CAS letter. It was transcript i used since my certificates arent ready.Transcript from my uni here cant be sent to private address or individuals and if i am to have it addressed to the BHC what address should i use?I wonder if it can be done that way. Please, someone give advice on this as i have just till tuesday next week to submit my application and my school resumes 21st sept.I am being positive but want to make sure i do the right things and leave the rest to God. |

We should be realistic.Only a fool will support ibb's presidency after what he did to the country.Forget the stupid idea of u chop i chop, its all bull that degraded our naira and opened holes in our security system. The country was made porous by this evil man and he still has the guts to ask for votes. Those of you clamoring for his return are nothing but thieves willing to sell their soul for cash.If you are willing to gamble your child's future away by trusting in ibb, then you are not wise. ibb better not come to campaign in delta state cos i might be tempted to do something drastic. |

when you apply you will find out unilag is still as slow as a snail in processing student stuff.I applied since march and up till now they are telling me stories of not seeing results.I eventually showed up there and they where tossing me to n fro exams and my dept until exams finally hepd me out.Gave me date my results where sent to dat damn records and i went to d boss who wasnt pleased they lied to me.I tink its all abt getting egunje. |
