In my opinion, GEJ's response is mature and the right move to make at this point it time. The situation at hand is sensitive and delicate especially with the undercurrent of religion and ethnicity involved. He is right by the advice to the Party leaders. There are different strategic considerations covering various parameters right through from domestic to international at play here. If the response is too heavy handed, it could lead to some foreign involvement etc taking undue advantage of the situation. My thinking is we need to approach this with[b] wisdom and calculated action[/b].
