If more Nollywood actors and ashawo actresses followed Hanks example, Nigeria will not be in this mess. Instead, the actresses are busy jumping from one policicians bed to the other and the once respected male Yoruba actors including Jide Kosoko and the shameless Olaiya Igwe are busy licking McOluomo and Tinubu's backsides. I am Yoruba by the way but I can not stand the so called custodians of our culture descend so low as to become servants and errand boys to McOluomo and his gang of former armed robbers and killers. Awon alaiyebaje.

And by the way, I hate Tinubu with a passion for the number of children that have died because of his unquenchable thirst for looting the Lagos State and now the Nigerian Treasury. Jegudujera.

9. He joined the Young Socialists, the youth wing of the Labour Party, at age 16.

A lot of UK's Members of Parliarment joined politics at a young age or in early Uni and not a few of them including Prime Ministers graduated from Cambridge or Oxford unlike an unnamed president who has no siblings or records of his primary school, graduated from a secondary school before it was even founded and has a uni degree shrouded in so much controversy that the issuing Uni gave conflicting verdicts on his degree in court and I am almost certain that if the so called president graduated, his exams were sat for him by bright students hired from his drug money proceeds and his social security number was that of a woman whose identity he obviously stole.

What a country.

From 2015 to 2023 is 8 years, all the law students are supposed to have graduated but due to the unserious nature of some students, they didn't graduate for over 8 years for a programme of 5 years.

Its almost similar to someone studying ACCA knowing he had 10 years to complete the 14 papers and if not completed in 10 years he would lose all the papers he had passed even if he had passed 13 papers and start from ground zero all again.

I know a bros in London who had earlier been time barred in the ICAEW exams before he switched to ACCA and bros was struggling to pass all 14 ACCA papers and nearing the 10 year limit he went to Naija for some spiritual fortification to enable him pass the final papers before the 10year limit all to no avail.

Bros just left the course and went back to working as an Accountant and he landed a top job due to his prior accounting experience in an ICAEW practice. He possibly would have restarted the ACCA exams and I hope he has passed all by now or maybe he would have switched to the CIPFA exams since his new job then was in the public sector.

Crime / Re: Police Officer Filmed Fighting A Young Man While Carrying His Gun (Video) by Ilekokonit: 2:18am On Jul 07
Zonefree:

The beating will continue in their station. Even the female officers for desk go use mouth and slap finish the young man.

If you MUST drag with Nigerian police officers, never follow them to their office. It's better you go with them without dragging than to drag and still go with them. It's always brutal. They must find ways to inflict heavy scars on your body.

Nigeria is a lawless country, try and secure your life in any possible way.

Even UK police don kill many people both black, white, male and female for resisting arrest. Their own method is to suffocate you by kneeling on your chest or breaking your neck. Not too common but it has happened in the past including to a Nigerian man, an Irish man and a Jamaican woman they were trying to deport and they turned round and said as she was biting them they had to restrain her but in the process, they suffocated her to death.

Its better to go with the police peacefully i.e Fesowole according to Portable) than to allow them injure, maim or kill you for resisting arrest albeit wrongful arrest.

I relocated to Naija some years ago and anytime i was coming from clubbing, I had to pass through Allen Junction in Ikeja and before I reached the police checkpoint, withouth being asked, I will slow down, put on my inner light, wind down my windows and smile at the officers and this seemed to disarm them and on one ocassion, one Northen police man told me that I have a Sunny smile and just waved me to go and this was circa 3am.

UK police don come beg me for house before because they arrested me on a traffic stop for not telling them my name quick enough as I wanted them to explain their accusation that I was driving rough first. Then they said if I was not prepared to tell them my name that I was nicked (arrested) and as they put their hands on my head to start the arrest I willingly followed them into their car (as I was not going to allow them to break my neck during a struggle).

That area Waltham Forest back then was notorious for racist Police just like Croydon was back then.

I then told them that my newly imported Naija wife had no way of getting home at 4am and they told me to give her cab money and I told them didn't have any money on me but when I saw that they were insistent on arresting me, I gave the now Ex wife £20 for cab and one of the police men then called me a stingy bastard (this was the weapon I would later use against them).

Eventually a good Samaritan - a Jamaican man who saw my now Ex wife at 4am crying on the road (the same woman don tear eye now and has turned our her 2 kids against me ) picked her in his car and drove round the police stations in the area until they located the station I was held at.

I was released without charge as they were just out to arrest a black man for no valid reason (in my case I had the audacity to not tell them my name until they explained to me what they meant by saying I was driving rough when I knew I had to slow down to navigate one of these double roundabouts that were so close together)

After I was released, I phoned their police station and asked to speak to the most senior officer and told him that I had evidence of what his officers said to me on the night of the arrest and he asked me what type of evidence I had and asked if it was recorded evidence and I told him that I was not willing to divulge the type of evidence I had. His officers had called me a stingy bastard when I told them I did not have any cash on me to give my then wife for a cab home but I did not record their abuse but I did not tell their boss this.

The police boss (evidenced by the kind of flat hat he wore to my 7th floor council flat) came himself and apologized to me in my flat stating that he had disciplined the officers involved.

I remember another time I went into a police station in London at around 5am to report a case of racism and on hearing the word racism, the desk attendant in the police station, a white woman rolled her eyes ans if to say not again and when I told her that if she was not up to a certain age, then I came to the UK before her, she then went away for a while as if to call a superior officer (she was not even a police officer).

After waiting for a while and no one came back to attend to me, I turned around towards the door to leave the police station and alas the sliding doors that opened automatically a few minutes earlier refused to open and the doors had apparently been locked by the police behind the scenes to prevent me leaving the police station.

I automatically sussed their plan out as they must have been watching me behind the scenes and if I showed any signs of being drunk then they would have sent out giant police men to try and subdue me and if they had broken my neck in the process, they would have blamed it on me being drunk. I immediately remembered how the London police killed Jamaican Joy Gardner and Nigerians Shiji Lapite and Olaseni Lewis during the process of arresting them and as the doors were still locked obviously to prevent me leaving the police station, I just turned towards the CCTV, raised my hands and waved them at the camera and said the following words - I am not drunk, come and open the doors and let me leave and I repeated this whilst waving and speaking at the CCTV and eventually 4 police officers came down including 2 giant police officers and they then opened the doors and let me leave but the 2 giant police officers were scrutinizing my face obviously to see if I was drunk.

The picture below is of Joy Gardner a then 40-year-old Jamaican mature student living in London who was killed by London police during an attempt to arrest her and deport her to Jamaica.

The first url below details the case of a then 34year old Nigerian named Shiji Lapite who was killed during a police arrest in London, the second one for Joy Gardner and the 3rd one for Olaseni Lewis all killed in UKpolice custody during unnecessarily violent arrests.

What money can not do in this country does not exist.

In 2020, 631 students of Nigerian Law School, Abuja failed the 2020 Bar final examinations.
https://saharareporters.com/2020/07/05/631-law-students-fail-call-bar-final-exams

Its even scarier that in something as serious as Medical School Exams, Professors of Medicine allow their children and their friends to cheat.

I was a Medical Student at UI Med School many years ago and 20% of my class cheated to pass exams in a situation where people who are repeating decide to do division of labour and instead of studying every thing they decide to study just upper limb and someone else studies lower limb, thorax etc, etc and then they sit at the back of the class and compare notes and end up scoring 100%.

This is apart from the children of Professors of Medicine who were being given preferential treatment in the exam hall (e.g. coming too late for an exam and instead of disqualifying her, the invigilator (a lecturer who was taught in med school by the girls father who is a Prof of medicine) kept repeating to our hearing "where is the she that must be obeyed" until the Profs daughter showed up more than an hour late for the exam.

And then there is the case of the son of a Prof of medicine in my class who used to see the real exam questions before the exam date and then circulate them to his inner circle and they all end up scoring 100% in the exam.

No wonder there are so many heartless killer doctors in Nigeria.

I eventually had enough and when I decided to pull out of Med school after 4 years, my mum took me to a well known Bishop who laid hands on me and when he saw that I did not change my mind, he promptly asked me if I was on drugs and I answered in the negative.

On the Tinubu issue, its like those who voted Tinubu for whatever reasons they had did not study how Tinubu has been running Lagos State from 1999 till date directly and indirectly and how Tinubu elevated MC Oluomo and his gang of former Armed robbers and elevated them above any sitting Governor in Lagos and how the Treasury of Lagos State was and still is in Tinubu's pocket.

I said here before the Supreme court judges sold Nigerians to Tinubu that IF Tinubu was allowed to be near Nigeria's Treasury for just 2 months that the greedy Looter will become richer than Nigeria.

The worst has happened to Nigeria and now that the Greedy thief called Tinubu has been President for 13 months, Tinubu is now richer than Nigeria as his modus operandus is to steal any Treasury blind and use his stolen funds to corrupt future elections into perpetuity.

Nigeria ti wo gau. Nigeria is in deep shit with Tinubu in Aso Rock.

What a pity that we have become so inhuman / dehumanized in Nigeria that no one could approach her stealthily in a car on that bridge and grab her before she fell backwards. Worse still a guy approached her immediately she fell to the ground from the bridge and moved towards her filming her with his phone

I think there should be a new offence that criminalizes taking photographs of a dead body or accident victim.

But then again which lawmakers are going to think of and pass such a law Is it the same Nigerian lawmakers that now fraudulently pad budgets and loot in trillions

During the brutal 2008 global financial meltdown, German billionaire Adolf Merckle was so broken by the struggle to salvage their business empire that included owning the Volkswagen car company that he killed himself after their business empire was poised to come crashing down after his family made wrong-way bets on skyrocketing Volkswagen shares.

He just went to a pub, had a few drinks and then went to the train station and jumped in front of an approaching train.

He felt that he had let down his family by the speculative losses he incurred betting on the share price movements of their VW stock - a company they owned.

Merckle, who was the world's 94th-richest person in 2008 according to Forbes magazine, spent his life building a business conglomerate with about 100,000 employees.

At the time there was mostly speculation about banks and hedge funds that could have made heavy losses on VW. But banking sources told Reuters that Merckle's losses were estimated at 400 million euros ($539 million).

Forbes had in 2008 ranked Merckle Germany's fifth-richest man with a fortune worth an estimated $9.2 billion. According to Forbes, Merckle's fortune was initially inherited from his Bohemian grandfather, but he had grown the latter's chemical wholesale company into Germany's largest drugs wholesaler, Phoenix Pharmahandel, with annual sales of 21.6 billion euros.

So, the rich also cry and they are not immune to the whisperings of the devil.

The story I was told was that the culprit Bros was a private car hire service driver at Muritala Muhammed Airport and he and some of his fellow drivers consulted a Babalawo for money rituls and the Baba asked them to bring a fresh human head and the men hired an olosho, and drugged her and had their way with her before cutting off her head and taking it to the Baba.

The baba was shocked that they could go that far as he had thought thay they would not be able to go that far and the Baba was so scared that he stalled them and ran away.

The Bros in question later made it to London and at the time I was told this story (16 years ago) he was married to an Oyinbo woman and was on his way to getting his UK passport.

Makes you wonder the number of Naija deadly and hardened criminals now residing in the UK.

He said before they used to give free soup with meals but when the cost of the soup ingredients alone was more than the cost of the meat, he resorted to charging N1000 for the soup alone and as most of his customers can not afford the N2000 for a plate of food, he had no choice but to close the business down as to do otherwise will mean running at a loss and Baba is quite prudent at cost cutting from my observations of his past businesses both in London and in Naija.
