easymancfc:

they could be step brothers by being Josephs children from another marriage.. they could be cousins by being Mary's relative 's children or Joseph's relative's children

So, you are ready to assert to any other possibility, even the possibility of Joseph marrying another woman in order to justify that Mary never had sex with Joseph. Wow! I guess in your argument, you believe there's zero probability of Joseph having sex with Mary, even though you don't have a proof that erodes all doubt! Hmmm. It is well.
Religion / Re: The Catholic Faith: What You Need To Know by Immortal1(m): 6:06pm On May 21, 2017
It's okay to interprete scriptures differently in order to support your view, but I believe it's best to read scriptures with an open heart for the Holy Spirit to help bring illumination to what you read in scriptures.

Now my question to Catholics: Do you believe with the whole of your heart that Joseph was married to Mary all his life and never had sex with her? The Bible recorded in Matthew 1:25 that Joseph did not know her (Mary) "till" she had brought forth her firstborn Son. Going by your assertions, what do you think the word 'till' meant in the verse cited? Also, why stress 'firstborn Son', if Jesus Christ remained her only child?? In all sincerity, you think Joseph never knew (had sex with) Mary & it would not be glaringly stated in the Bible??

It shouldn't be about defending your assertions but your desire to know the truth.

Regards.

NYSC / Re: Ex-Corpers Drop Your Tribute For Henry Amadi by Immortal1(m): 5:42am On Oct 13, 2013
Yes, u are right. Itz d same Henry, & datz d dad u described; he is a very gud friend of mine.
Rest well, Henry. So, cool, calm and humble fellow. Was wit him 2 days before d unfortunate incident. All I remember vividly is his smile. He was truly d pride of d dad. In d words of d dad "I'm contented wit d fact that I did a gud job bringing him up in d way I shud. I know he is proud 2 have been my son while on earth." We honour u, Henry. U died in service; nothing can be greater!!!
G_Syntax: Good evening peeps. This is indeed a very sad news. It is with trembling hands that I write to ask this question. I happened to have met a guy in 2010 who bears exactly the same name as that of the fallen corp member. However, the picture above, maybe cos it is a little blurred, does not fully look like him if I remember correctly. Oh, how I pray it's not him.

A guy who goes by name Henry Amadi-Emina walked into our office in Central Business District, Abuja, in 2010 to make some findings about doing his masters degree abroad. He read Architecture or a related course in the uni and would want to do his masters in the same field. I think he attended Covenant University or one of the private schools in Nigeria. At that time, I think he was doing his IT in the nearby NNPC Towers. Please can someone tell me that the Henry I am describing is different from the one everyone is writing tribute to!

Early this year (3 years after I met Henry), I went to a Full Gospel meeting in our estate and met one man, Mr Amadi-Emina. I asked him if he knows a boy called Henry who has the same surname as his and he answered in the affirmative that he is his son. A very peaceful man!

Please can someone who knows Henry tell me that I am describing someone else?

Education / Re: Latest News On ASUU Strike by Immortal1(m): 9:46am On Sep 25, 2013
It is an obvious fact that d Nigerian public education system has gone beyond collapsed! D state of d universities re despicable in different perspectives. I only wish d earned allowance issue isn't part of d reason 4d ASUU strike, cos govt has capitalised on it in giving ppl an impression that d lecturers re just being selfish.
Great tinz re born out of minds willing 2 make sacrifices. We live in a country where our leaders will confidently make public their commitment 2 eat cassava bread only, in a bid 2 support d need 2 patronise it, but re not willing 2;
-refuse d use of generators in their homes in a bid 2 show their passion for 24hrs electricy project.
-send their children 2 public schools in a bid 2 show they re committed 2 revamping d educational system.
-visit our public hospitals, rather than going abroad 4 treatment, just 2 let us know d health-state of d average man is important 2 them.
-ply our roads in their deplorable state 2 tell us they re one of us.... I cud go on & on.
If u can't wear d shoe, u'd never have an idea where itz hurting. Who is deceiving who Our value system as a nation has been greatly watered down. A true leader is consumed about d needs of d ppl, not his needs.
Wit more emphasis placed on 'paper qualification' than d product u've become cos of ur education, ppl can hardly see d need 4 overhauling d educational system. My one piece! Peace!!
Education / Re: Whats Ur Favorite Chemistry Topic? by Immortal1(m): 8:59am On Sep 25, 2013
I luv everything about chemistry. Itz d simplest subject but so many find it difficult cos they re not willing 2 understand it, but just want 2 cram their way thru. I guess most teachers do not help in understanding it as well!! U can hardly cram ur way thru chemistry!!!
Made a 1st class in chemistry(industrial) wit minimal effort on my part, cos I understood d basics.

Politics / Re: APC Vows To Shut-down Abuja If They Are Not Registered by Immortal1(m): 5:07pm On Jul 28, 2013
Shut down Abuja indeed! All these our extremely selfish politicians; only when something will direct affect them, that's when they cry foul more.
If really the right thing should be done, the so-called fake APC ought to be the one duly registered why the so-called real APC shud source for another name. While they were making all the noises over the media about their merger & new name, a fast one was played on them & a different APC was formed. It has nothing to do with secretariat, it should be first-come first-serve issue.
Anyway, whatever happens doesn't really concern me, cos I've stopped believing in the sincerity of Nigerian politicians. I doubt if the masses are the ones they are really out to help! Mstchew!!
