davide470: ..so which kind of love have you experienced or you desire to experience? smiley
peaceful-night kind of love. Not the restless - night kind grin
Romance / Re: Have You Ever Been In Love So Bad That You Cant Sleep At Night by Isk(f): 6:20am On Sep 26, 2014
I haven't. I don't think that kind of love is even healthy. Why should you experience sleepless nights because of "love"

Next time, you should probably ask for a sedative. That should keep you till you land.

macof:
madam pls be smart with your relationship and future. You both need to have understood eachother from the beginning.
To me, a relationship is already a commitment only that it is meant to evolve into something bigger, when you've spent enough time (not too much time) together you should know if you continue or you end it..
you are very right about that.

Romance / Re: Taboo Relationships - Who Have You Dated On This List? by Isk(f): 5:18pm On Sep 21, 2014
Numbers 4 and 5
I have dated guys 10 yrs older than me. Sometimes I think I prefer them to those with shorter age difference. Most of my friends think it's weird (but i don't).

I have dated guys with different religious orientation from me. I'm still conflicted on this cos I believe it shouldn't matter so much the person's beliefs as long as the person is accommodating and respectful of yours, but i also know that a problem may arise when it comes to raising children - especially if the both of us feel very strongly about our faith.
Romance / Re: What Would Be Your Answer To This Question From Your Partner? by Isk(f): 5:08pm On Sep 21, 2014
As bitter as the truth is, i believe your partner deserves to know where you are emotionally in the relationship, especially when he/she asks. You owe it to him/her to say 'i do love you' or 'i am not there yet. But i care a lot about you'
They deserve to know.

stpat1: hmmmm. I still t trying to think deep to have a clue as to what triggered this post.
The truth is that your opinion and advice is actually stemmed from you being unsuccessful in attracting a nice tall guy. That is to say, if the tall guy(s) you dated were nice and caring as you craved for, your would have been singing a different tune by now. Its quite unfortunate.

There are lots of nice tall guys out there and there ate several nasty short dudes too.
so true

Religion / Re: Men Of God And Political Aspiration. by Isk(f): 2:54pm On Sep 21, 2014
I have a problem with spiritual heads seeking political positions. People's argument for that is 'when a righteousness man is in power, the people rejoice'
They forget that that has nothing to do with pastors, priests whose main commission is to direct the flock in the path of righteousness, advise the government and speak the truth to them at all times only. No more!! As far as I'm concerned, a pastor's only role in politics should be that of advisory. Anything more makes you more sheep than actual shepherd.

gmyguy: Have you ever had that embarrassing experience when you are taking some lady friends out and your car messes up. Mine occurred last year. It was so embarrassing. The car broke down on Awolowo way Ikoyi, after picking up a friend from Apapa. It was so horrible. I had to push the car off the road myself with 2 lady friends who didn't lay a finger to help comfortable seated snuggly. And GEJ was coming to Ikoyi that day, had this policemen i blocked when it broke down, threatening to beat me up. How was yours?...have since gotten a more reliable car

Chimax15: why should he knock?
cos there are certain situations you should not walk in on to save you and her embarrassment.
How would you (or her) feel if you walked in on her changing her tampon or dressing up? She may be your daughter but as she grows up there are lines of privacy you should give her as a budding woman.
Romance / Re: Ladies: When It Comes To A Mans Height, Pls How Tall Is Your Tall? by Isk(f): 10:15pm On Sep 14, 2014
I am 5"7 and My ideal height would be 5"11 or taller. Some girls say they have no issue with height, I have an issue with height tho. The taller the person is than me, the more attracted I am to that person. *shrug*

Chimax15: QUESTION OF THE DAY!!!

MUST A FATHER KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING
INTO HIS 18 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER'S
ROOM

SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS
for a father, yes, you should knock or at least announce yourself b4 entering your 18 yr old daughter's room. For a mum, i don't think that's necessary. I'm in my 20s and my mum still enters my room unannounced.
Family / Re: Marital Conflict - What Do You Suggest? by Isk(f): 1:32pm On Sep 07, 2014
I believe their problems are: communication and the ability to compromise. It's never really about who is right or wrong but more about respect and trust. The marriage is salvageable if they are willing to respect each other's feelings. Each of them, realising what they do that hurts the other must make a conscious effort to avoid that no matter the provocation. Pride is the virus of any relationship and theirs is loaded with it.
