Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by lawyerchap(m): 9:10am On Sep 14, 2007
There was a major bloodbath in the BBA House last night. The housemates had just finished their Circus Task (in which they performed quite well) and in high spirits they set about winding down. I have always expressed my fear of Code breaking ranks with the non-clique camp because he still considers Max his homie. This fear was realized when Code confronted Max about the tensions and divisions in the house. Max seemed to be coming around to Code’s view, but then he was without his ‘brain’ Lerato and really can’t think without her.

Scarcely had Code left the room than the entire clique poured in to be downloaded on the goings-on. When Max told them that he had come to tell him that the tensions were needless as he was still one of them (perhaps a coded way of saying, I didn’t nominate you) they unleashed a flurry of scathing comments, remarks and insults on poor Code. And suddenly Max was right back where he started. Lerato’s puppet really cannot stand without Lerato pulling his strings.

They all retired out to the Jacuzzi with some bottles of alcohol generously provided by Biggy in appreciation of their well executed task. But they had hardly gotten wet before Max accosted Richard on whether he thinks he wants Tatiana. Lerato joined in and accused Richard of being overly jealous when someone gives Tatiana the slightest attention. She said his reactions had the effect of caging Tatiana and prevented her from having a good time. Tatiana denies that she feels caged by Richard’s attentions but concurs that his jealousy very often spoils her moods.

They kept baiting him, four relentless bullies with Lerato as ringleader until Richard was incandescent with rage and totally blew his top. He yelled at Lerato and the rest of them that they should all mind their business as he failed to see how his interactions with Tatiana was any of their business. As a parting shot he said if anyone wanted to have Tatiana they were free to make a play for her. And he stormed off into the house.

Ofunneka meantime had been having a whale of a time as Biggy had for once decided to play some Naija music (Tuface, who else). She and Maureen had been dancing for a while when Richard stormed in with his face like thunder. She accosted him in the Bathroom area and with a mixture of force, authority and wisdom, got him to calm down and begin to reason rationally. She talked sense into him and got him to give Tati audience when she came to mollify him. Homegirl was in fine form last night, believe me.

Code also got a dose of the treatment but we didn’t get to see it as we were watching Tatiana wrap Richard around her finger again. (Richard is in love with Tatiana, no question about it. This is not just a game. She only needed to drape her leg over his to completely extinguish his rage. Al the anger just fizzled out. It was disgustingly exciting to watch. Sort of like porn) But Code came in just as angry as Richard and Ofunneka swung into action. It was déjà vu for me as she worked her magic on Code just as she had with Richard. Africa acknowledged Ofunneka last night, calling her a phenomenal woman, a worthy adversary and a true African woman.

But my fear is with Code. He appears to be a weak link in the house. Right now he is unaffiliated, because as I said in an earlier post, he still considers himself part of the clique but they don’t see him as such. In a bid to cement his loyalty, he will likely nominate Richiana on Monday if Max is eliminated and that will give the Clique numerical equality. We’ll have to wait and see who wins next week’s Head of House. But I’m beginning to suspect that the winner of BBA2 is going to be a major surprise indeed. Let’s watch and see, shall we?

way to go Lawyerchap, i did see code confront max, but missed the next actions totally!!! i agree with your every word, but again, i may be thinking differently with regards to code.

code, bertha and ofuneka are the ones playing the game in my opinion. now code and bertha are aware of the clique thingy, and both are trying to be on both sides! code has tried to re-allign himself with the untouchables just for the records, but believe me when Max is evicted, code can safely cross back to the other side(which he never really left in the first place). you'd notice that berthat and ofuneka are becomming close, that is bertha's way of alligning with the code camp!

when max leaves, that camp will be left with only lerato and the foolish kweku who will then realise that a coup has taken place! lerato will leave next and then kweku. bertha is a lawyer, playing on the psychology of the house and right now, only ofuneka has an inkling of her game plan!!

i think the game will start when max leaves so africa pleeeaasee MAXWELL MUST GO

@mamus 2010
Nice analysis. But you have made the mistake of thinking along with the Clique that Code betrayed them. He didn't. He nominated Richiana, which means it's actually the clique that he never really left in the first place, just that they don't know it. Now, Code's psychology, which he won't let us hear word for, is that he tells it straight and will never stab a homie in the back. He still considers Max and Kwaku his homies but they think he's a backstabbing snake. And knowing this is tearing Code apart. He will be desperate to reinforce his loyalty come nomination time. His pain at being thought a betrayer is more than his need to side with Maureen's camp. You know he makes a great show of being independent of Maureen when it comes to taking decisions. This is why Code is not likely to nominate anyone in the clique and stick with Richiana as his nominations.

As for Bertha, she has irredeemably aligned herself with the Clique. Her intimate affiliation with Kwaku has sealed her membership of the clique. There is no way she will turn around and abandon a guy she's sharing a bed with. That would be too low even for a snake like Bertha and would be a terrible turn of strategy that would be as good as suicide. The best that will happen to her is that she will fly under their radar as they try to get the leaders Lerato and Kwaku out before they turn their attentions to her. But as for trying to be on both sides, not going to happen. she's made her choice of camp and it's going to come back and bite her in the ass.

LERATO HAS BEEN MADE THE NEW HEAD OF HOUSE FOR THE SECOND TIME. SHE WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT GOT THE BOW AND ARROW GAME.
HOMEGIRL OFUNNEKA ASKED HER AND SHE CONFESSED PRACTICING THE GAME BEFORE COMING TO THE HOUSE.
I SMELL SOMETHING!!

guys hope u are busy voting MAXWELL outta d house?

lets combine our actions and words together to break d clique's hold in da house
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by lawyerchap(m): 4:13pm On Sep 14, 2007
This is truly disastrous news for homegirl Ofunneka and the rest of the non-clique camp. However, considering the bust-up the clique had with Richard and Code last night, i would think that right now Lerato's eviction prorities would be Richard and Code. But Code could work himself back into that group before Monday (somewhat unlikely but not improbable going by his on-going concilatory moves) and then that would leave it to either Tatiana (who seems to be Lerato's pet hate) or Ofunneka (whom she believes is a backstabbing snake).

It's still quite a ways till monday but nominations could look something like this:

Ofunneka - Lerato Kwaku
Maureen - Bertha Lerato
Code - Richard Tatiana
Richard - Lerato Kwaku
Tatiana - Lerato Bertha
Kwaku - Richard Ofunneka
Bertha - Richard (not yet sure how she will vote on the second one)
Lerato - Richard Ofunneka

Max - Richard Ofunneka (if he survives sunday's eviction. But then you would need to substitute Max alongside Lerato in the nominations, because everyone hates Max's guts right now).

That would mean that Lerato and Richard (and possibly Max) will finish with 4 nominations each, putting them both on Eviction Row. Lerato will then save herself and replace with Ofunneka.

But anything could happen over this weekend and throw these permutations out of the window. By Monday morning things will be clearer. So let's just watch and see, shall we?
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Nobody: 8:33pm On Sep 14, 2007
how did this happen?

the only person that learnt archery b4 getting in the house now becomes HOH

secondly how com her prize for winning the task wasnt simply just HOH

Why the tie of replacing HOH with someone else

MAX and LER need to leave that house
i cant imagine watching them in the penthouse again not after that raunchy seen they had
abi was it just me that saw ermm Lerhippo holding 'pynt' wey max no gree make she wear again before dem dive under duvet
Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by jjuummaaii(f): 8:39pm On Sep 14, 2007
nice one lawyer, nice predictions and analysis, but u failed to include the fact that lerato relinquished the HOH to  MAX for a ticket to 2010 world cup which means if Max gets evicted then their would have to be anoda contest for the HOH and that automatically  cancels this one out
Just for the Records, Max is the only one from that click that has norminated MERYL(xcept BERTHA),norminated KWEKU and has norminated BERTHA, so it really beats my imagination why he shld ever for any reason complain about Code norminating him even if Code did, i think he is the real snake in that house

Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by mamus2010(f): 7:25am On Sep 15, 2007
@ lawyerchap,

i do appreciate your analysis, but another way of looking at it is that code knows they think him a traitor and if the behaviour of the clique does not improve b4 nomination time, then i believe he is going to nominate a member of the clique. code is only acting, he is playing the game, and he would disappoint me if he still cant see that the feud is not over.

as for HOH, now i know bba2 is a stage play, only some actors do not know that some others are acting out a script!! how could lerato have practiced? did she know of the task before hand? when she became HOH in the first instance(reciting the pictures on the screen), who marked their papers or scripts? how come it wasn't done in the open? and why would big brother invite someone from the outside world, a star for that matter (HHP) to mix with lerato and max? big brother in my opinion was trying to lift the spirit of lerato and max!!! why them? are they the first to be nominated? that was the beginning of the obvious!! big brother is a stage play.

the only way to to change the acts and scenes is for viewers to see through this game plan, and try to change the acts and scenes by voting out maxwell. but i wont be surprised if come sunday, big brother says the HOH cannot be evicted.

Yeah, i actually learnt of Lerato's winning the HOH task here on Nairaland while at WORK (Salsera, take note  grin) and i responded before she was called to make a choice between the HOH position and tickets to the 2010 World Cup. I think substituting Max as HOH was a bad move because he is likely to be evicted come Sunday. She would have been better off giving it to any other member of the clique. They would have still had her back as much as Max would. I suspect the clique will lose the HOH position when Max is evicted. By the way, Code is something of a snake sha, because he relentlessly nominates Richiana yet is their close friend. I guess people just don't see it as backstabbing because his reasons are ostensibly well-intentioned.

@mamus 2010
Code wants back in with the clique. He will do everything in his power to achieve that. Including nominating Richiana again in the face of his ongoing feud with the clique. It may be argued that even if he does nominate Richiana, how would the Clique know about it? He will find a way, i say. For example, in a conversation with a clique member, he could so clearly disapprove of Richard's behaviour that only a complete retard would not draw the cnclusion that he had nominated Richard. It's sort of like a mafia movie setting where a member of one family has been seen with members of a rival family and is ostracized. He knows the only way to prove his loyalty to his own family is to whack a member of that rival family. Which he will do the moment the opportunity presents itself.
I could be wrong though, and Code may, like you say, nominate members of the clique on monday. But somehow, i doubt it.

i can't wait to see Max reaction when he will see that Code never norminated him and that he was only suspecting the guy wrongly. i'm sure he'll feel bad no matter what and then he'll realise that LERATO was basically his downfall.
lessons for guys,  never get into a relationship with the wrong woman.

It will be great foolishness on Codes part if he norminates anyone from the big 5 now especally when the obvious division started as a result of last week's norminations, there really was no obvious division in the house until monday lastwk and it has remained so, if anyone of the big 5 norminates amongst themselves then they will only be digging their own grave.
just for the records and for the RICHIANA haters, i think we should give them a chance cos i think they have actually fought and conquered temptations cos they've actually never done anything extraordinary even their french kissing only happend during a kissing game, at least for that it goes a long way to say that their heads are still intact

I agree that it will be foolishness, but Code is not above some foolishness, is he? But going by the way the camps have been so clearly defined, I'm beginning to think he may actually lay off Richiana on Monday but i still have my doubts.

Richiana have kissed on many occasions o. not just during the Truth or Dare. Most recently they kissed after Tatiana's crying session and they seemed to be absolutely besotted with each other. They've also done quite a bit of raunchy stuff that's more intense than kissing. But hey, i love em anyway. (if only Richard wasn't married).

The whole of Africa showed him the way out. And he was counting on Nigeria for a return of his favor.

@Kaydee
Did you say "joining the Untouchables?" Max was "The Untouchables" the self-styled 'housemate of Magnitude' the other Untouchables joined him, not the other way round. And with him out, they've found out in a major way that they can be touched.

Next up: Lerato. (If Big Brother go gree)

The Big 5 will be going for Lerato and Bertha, i believe. Though homegirl and Richard are more likely to nominate Kwaku instead of Bertha. They would do well to find some way of reaching a consensus on who they are putting up for eviction because if they split their nominations, one of the Big 5 could still end up on Eviction Row tonight.

Unforunately jumai, none of those idiots got that lesson. 2 hours ago, Kwaku,Bertha and Lerato gathered in the garden and kept on bitching.

kwaku said Africans are backwards, and so worship and adore light skinned people, which is why he thinks Richiana was saved and his hero Max got the boot.

What an idiot!
