Rasputin

I bought for my staff and I got the certificate before I left. So I think you should ask your broker, possibly has come to his po box or call first registrars and tell them to keep it for you and either go or send somebody to pick it.

I was told today bagco is also ready but I cannot confirm what i have not seen. I can only confirm union diagnostic

INVISIBLE,my point is in respective people work for us we should treat them with respect and kindness to get best out of them even my gate man.In Nigeria I have 35 staff,I pay them monthly out of 35 staff ,I already given 21 car registered on their names.
My broker is not obliged to give me inside news and information for me to better my life and family. As my people use to say you use money to get money.

Seriously Greentree when I posted earlier on that you should go back to the tree you came down from,I thought it was meant to be a joke. But now I am dead serious.

Did you say you have a wife?Na waoh!I weep for her. cry cry cry cry

I want to safely assume you are not a doctor,so to be recommending someone to The Maudsley it means you must have a bed there.Who unchained you?I remember the story of "Alaye" who came to London, plaited his hair, wore ear rings but everytime he opened his mouth he pronounced "HOUSE" as "OUSE","HI" as "I","EVERYBODY" as "HEVERYBODY".And there are still many of them in London,eg-Greentree.From your posts it is very obvious you don't belong "ERE".

Find your level Greentree and before I forget ,say "I" to your wife.

IEI-I think you should move it into your long term portfolio.Good stock, good company but it needs to diversify it's operations.

greentree:

i am nobody's boy o. but to be honest on what i gained that day and the new links i got i no mind gree i be boy. at least i am now in on regency and sterling assurance. i am getting my full application on bank PHB which is heavily over subscribed. i got links for property in abuja through bank auction and 2 other boiling hot pp's .and even the chams i could not get into before in january. so which one concern me with your yeye posting. my mrs and i are now considering whether to re-mortgage or sell our buy to let due to the cash flow constraint of re-financing. maybe mr brown will make you a life time peer for the house of lords. but i just pray that in your briticoness your pikin no dey become the ones that stand for street in a hoodie, jeans below their ass, walking with an exaggerated limp, a knife and a pit bull intimidating people.what we got from that group of people i interacted with could not have been practicalised through any book from borders. and if truly you came that day you would have noticed some nigerian dignitaries around? they all greeted themselves with respect. infact i wish you would have sat down and blew your trumpet about £600k shame would have caught you.i am  grin grin grin grin grin

i know the direction i am heading and it is home my dear brother. you can remain a london big boy on your council flat 600k and all the good you dey chop. but i tire for tax and NI and i am happy to wash my hands well and eat with the elders. at least we mixed with people who have a strong hold on the Nigerian economy and know there way. i have got a new broker who now calls me sir due to the level i was introduced and was given a guarantee on my behalf that he can go aheadwith my buy request and i will settle after purchase. this is good because i am told they will only buy what i sspecificallyorder at a set price. i am not complaining. plus the dinner at the windows restruant and the views were nice too. cheesy

Nigeria i hail thee

You have a wife?Goodness me.Phew! angry angry angry

As me no sabi to abuse people;
Instead of posting trash, just read this and smile!

One bank opened a branch near a cemetery. In the window the president put a sign that read, "You can't take it with you when you go, but here's a chance to be near it."

A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.

Father: A banker provided by nature

An English teacher asked her 8th grade class to write an essay on what they would do if they had a million dollars.

Larry handed in a blank sheet of paper.

"Larry!" yelled the teacher, "you've done absolutely nothing. Why?"

"Because if I had a million dollars, that's exactly what I would do!"

Greentree,
I would have ignored your unprovoked post .
Simply because someone comes to write big english, calls billions and says he has a child who is 50 years old does not mean he should not be told the truth when it comes to it.

I have not said a single harsh word to you or Napoleon. All I told Napoleon was that blueband did not deserve the harsh words he used on him.Go and read all the posts and you will understand what I said.Simply because you are a tissue holder for Napoleon does not mean you should go about insulting people.By the way how much does he pay you for wiping his ass?Or tell me are you his 37 year old son who still lives at home with him and drives him to meetings?Maybe that's why you have suddenly realised you need to move back to Nigeria where you will at least be your own man.And that explains why you were the only one who got the right time of the meeting.

This thread is not about people coming to give us "insightful" details and the dirty deals that go on in the NSE and what baffles me is that people are encouraging such posts. This is not a thread for the Ahmadu Alis and Ojo Maduekes. This is a thread for real enterprising Nigerians. So my dear Greentree go and remain on top of the tree you have come down from.

I will like to announce to Napoleon That I Am Out.

Against my better judgement I also turned up.I am also out!

Savvylanre,

If Napoleon had said he was 21 years old would have felt blueband should apologize again?People apologize for doing something wrong and not because the other party is older.I think I have been out of Nigeria for too long.

Savvylanre,

If you have only one house why are you repying my post? grin grin grin grin grin grin

I am sorry if I appear to be inflaming the situation.

But seriously what has blueband really done wrong? We just don't always expect young people to apologize to elders simply because it's African culture. If Blueband apologizes again,no problems but that will be asking for too much from someone who has done no wrong.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by igetwicked: 7:11pm On Mar 07, 2008
I have read Napoleon's post and blueband's post.

Seriously I don't see what blueband did wrong. You will also notice that someone else yesterday cracked  a joke with what transpired when he asked ACL to first say "cheeky" and then ask for an apology when blueband asked Pumping if his wife will give birth to a child.

Apart from the things I learn on this forum, jokes and banter make it alive.Sometimes people like IOMA just bring a smile to my face.Same with blueband and CrazyT.What are we creating on this forum now, segregation?

Some people will now not want to contribute because they feel they will either be stepping on toes of elders or the experts.

Should we all take big and declare our ages to get respect? For me I respect AKtopgun and Pumping the most.Their posts have made me make some money silently. And despite all the banter people thrown at Pumping he has never been angry,NEVER!

This has been a good forum and if you chose to join "youthful" people in sharing ideas you must tolerate how they discuss.

Or else we might need to start declaring our age class, qualifications and money status when we post like this:

Name:Igetwicked
Qualification:PhD in Medical Informatics
Net worth: 2 Houses in London,One is Surrey(excluding cash in hand worth 600,000 pounds)
Age:37 years

Please if you are not up to my level do not reply to this post! grin grin grin grin

I am looking at entering the Insurance sector.I have in mind Oasis,Linkage Assurance and Guinea. My sole reason is that they are cheap and it appears 6 naira is the resistant price for most of  Insurance companies. So there is still a chance of 20 percent in a week.Am I being over optimistic?

Someone mentioned ABC Transport, what is brewing with it?

Does anyone who how long the Ecobank merger with Sterling bank will take. What is the usual time before technical suspension is lifted on the new bank shares. It appears Ecobank will be the dominant bank,if you own Sterling Bank Shares now what will happen then? Will you be issued new share certificates under the name of the new bank? Will there be verification and all it's attendant problems with time?

Sorry I am new to this and will appreciate answers from the gurus. My stockbroker for some reason convinced me to buy 300k units of Sterling Bank Shares. Is this good?
