@edesoji,thanks.my host is a citizen.he came here through lottery at tender age.he said he pays his and his wife's financial support debt they obtain durin college days.also they pay for their car loans so it will be difficult for them to do that.now,he is hostin me.he is suggestin this.the idea is illegal.i dont know wat will happen if i refuse.in fact this situation is critical
if i refuse he will say im not good,he is helpin me n im refusin to help someone.thus my worry.is there somethin i can do to settle this peaceful in ur view

greetings to everyone.i would like experience guys to help me make decision.my host said i should give my ssn to his friend who is comin to the state this july with a two year visa to work.i dont want to but because im still stayin with him and also bein good to me,i find it difficult to refuse so i told him im thinkin about it.i wish to help but i want to further my education.i hear they look at ur income b4 they give financial aid when schoolin.my question is:in case i agree,it means my income level will rise.technically two people will be workin for one person.will it affect me in obtainin financial aid and tax fillin

@Addiso,I called the immigration again but this time they told me that is no problem with my status.the only problem was my zip code n I made correction.I went back to the social security office to apply.this time a different person attended to me.she did it without any question.she gave me a letter statin dat I will get it within two weeks.I thank God for that but what might have gone wrong.could it be as of last week my name wasn't reflected in their system or its the lady who attended to me who was inexperience?

@adeso please my visa expires on june 6 so if by june 6 weve not solve the problem,wat happen? or as far as im here de expiration date wont count?thanks

hi pals,thanks everyone for tryin to help.i mistakenly handed the package to them when they requested.there was no legal document backing it.it was verbal.they came to my workplace to register me for no fee n called in may to notify me.they said when they continue the visa application,they charge$7000.it was verbal. they used that court issue to convince us to proceed cos we told them we can't get 7000.they said when i get the visa n i don't have 7000,i can make 2/3payment n sign agreement to pay the rest within a year but now they've denied this.they're requesting full payment.with the lil expreience acquired from dis forum,i never wanted to hand it over to them but my parents made me did that cos it's the people who payed the processin fees,i mean medicals,police cert,visa fees.my. they said if i don't make full payment,they'll sell it.i'm asking if it's possible to sell?SHOULD I inform the embassy or that will complicate things?i wanted a peaceful agreement but they an't ready for that.i can't get all the 7000 ,ticket n pocket money thus why i'm askin if there is any other means to get my package back.thanks.

hi pals,i'm posting this to invite ideas from the gurus n anyone with experience.pls i've got my visa but unfortunately the agents who played for me had collected my passport n sealed envelope requesting 7000dollars before givin it back.when they first called to notify me of winning,my family told them we don't have money but they said we could make two\third payment n go to court to sign agreement to pay the rest within a year after visa .they paid all the processin fees tellin me that i will pay it in addition to the 7000.they've collected my visa now,we went to plead with 2500dollars but they refused.they denied sayin the part payment.now i don't have any other source to get money for them.i wanted a peaceful negotiating but it seem they are not ready.i'm asking if there's any other option i can get my package back.please temmy,gentiger n everyone with experience can help.thanks
