I paid my Sevis Fee in Ecobank Western Union Seme Border yesterday and i was given a tracking no(MTCN). Although i was told by folks it is faster, that i would get my confirmation instantly but am tracking on western union since yesterday the system did not recognize the MTCN.
I decided to go on Western Union Global Payment Solutions>>Quick Pay website but could not find anywhere to track my payment/transaction
Simply stated i could not track with the MTCN i was given at the counter

Plz house anyone who has paid through Western Union, Seme should let me know how to resolve this issue, as i have limited before my interview

The interview was 1pm and i got there around 12noon, so we all wait until that 1pm, they check us in and also do the biometric stuff,

i was call for counter 7, she is a lazy

Me-i think i said Oracle and c++ or so, ( to be honest i no expect it , i just said wat came on my mind)

Me- i told her i applied to 3 school and all gave me admission, i want to show her but she said no no no, many do bring it too

VO-asked what would i be doing when u finished your studying,
Me- told her, will firstly come to do my compulsary 1 year NYSC then get a job in some company that i can contribute all i have learn in USA to grow naija very well.bla bla

Me- I gave her, I want to show her the letter of sporsoring, but she said no need

Vo- She focus on system for about 1 min, i think she is looking into my DS 160 or so,
Vo - bring out the white paper, am sorry cant give you the visa because you did not convince me very well that you will be coming back to nigeria,

In 3 to 4 mins interview, they will have more work to do than asking for that. Still no document worths load. So, take what ever you think can safe you in any unpredicted situation.

My experience,
I got there around 8 30. They asked for sevis, appoinemtn gtb reciept etc. I got in at 11 did biometric etc. Ther guy before me was denied. And d babe in cubicle one denied almost all d people dat went b4 her except some old women goin for medicals. I was now prayin dey should not call me to counter 1 coz that was her counter. B4 I knew it, dey jumped d number b4 mine and asked me to go to counter 1. She asked me what I wanted to study,- I told her, what I do, I told her, d modules ill be taking, I told her. She looked at my bank statement. And she said, ill isue u a visa, pick it up at billingsway, gave me a green small card that they wrote visa pick up on. I asked for my i20 she said it will be inside mypassport wen I pick it up. Yes. Ayanfe got her visa before me. Many students were denied in Lagos oh. But me and like 4 other people were granted that I know of. The info on dis thread helped. But trust me, it is your utternace dat will give u visa. Dat bank statement done mean anything. You have to be polite, confident and well grounded in education. Travel history also helps but like 3 fresh passports got their F11. You guys, thank God for me. I am now looking for flight. No more sevis, i20, fedes, statement, etc. I thank God.

@ imperiouxx, yeah i kno all abt your I.A f-up. no worry. wel 2 your question , i hav a particular university i defer dem admission FROM SPRING to dis fall, nd i got MY I-20 bak as far as feb 2011. they didnt even ask me to resend any doc or bank statee, although u may b required to resend your latest bank statee. The skool will issue u anoda I-20 after they re thru with d registration d of the new intakes(fall2011),dat their focus 4 now nd dats y she is not replying your mails now. just b calm it wil come mid september-early october. Yeah as per d SEVIS number, definately it is d same. i av my two I_20 @ hand.
but note again, there may be slight difference in d tuition fee or total cost depending on your skool latest fee-review because dats spring is 2012,  i hope i av helped?

I haven't complete my ds160 yet. I'm picking early Nov. I can't withstand reading all these success stories while only looking at the calender for my day to come. When do you guys think Nov dates will open?

Thanks gboyegaD and next. I wish you guys success when its your time too. My international advisor caused me to defer after making mistakes on my I-20 at the every later hour. We had it hot but now calm. lol

She will never reply mails on time or at all. Now she has calm down and told me she will revise all and send them back as against spring. The question now is when is the spring I-20 dispatched and will the new I-20 carries the same sevis number as the former one? Still she no answer ooo. I know she no fit change.

This might not be as helpful as posting my interview experience (it hasn't happened yet) but for as many people want to go to EcoBank at Seme to pay for the SEVIS fee, you might want to leave early in the morning. I left my office in Lekki around 10:30am thinking Seme was just around the corner and arrived there by 4:00pm. Thankfully, the bank closes by 5:00pm.

to be honest wit you, its very unlikely that your friend will be given a visa. This is his fourth attempt and the fact that he went wit a college I-20 the first three times and going wit a uni I-20 now is a big big red flag. Even if he has genuine intentions of going to study in the u.s, the v.o would see it as if the guy is desperate and just wants to enter the u.s by all means. Here's my candid advice, he shld jst be praying cos theres nothing impossible for God,  But as far as humans are concerned,, his chances are way too slim.
