The courts are available if the govt have issues with Kanu...then he should be charged to court or bail revoked or something. These reckless killings are unconstitutional and do nobody any good. Accusing IPOB of provoking the govt to killing people is nonsensical, its like a man beating his wife and then accusing her of provoking him cos she has an agenda. Sensible people should not talk like this. 1 Like 1 Share |

This is a simple matter which u r complicating by ur own actions. U did not have to lie to your brother in the first instance. This is how when God opens doors, people use their own hands to mess up the door, thinking they r being smart. This is what u should do...get on ur knees and ask God for forgiveness for lying and then make a petition for ur brother's heart to soften and be receptive towards what u will explain. After that, call ur brother and apologise for the misinformation and explain why u did it. ie u were afraid of missing the opportunity. Then tell him the truth about ur gf and extol her virtues and ur plans for her. Then also be transparent about the situation with ur gf. is let her know what's happening. That's all...but keep praying about it and avoid habits that are counterproductive. 4 Likes |

Ferdinandu: So u think its OK to introduce Arabic Studies...why? Why must our christian children have to learn a language that has nothing to do with them. Arabic is predominantly a muslim/Islamic language. That is the language the Koran was written in. Only very few Christians in Islamic countries have to speak it. What has this language got to do with the christian Nigerian Child...absolutely nothing! It would even make more sense to learn Swahili for the Nigerian Christian than Arabic. There is absolutely no justification for this farce, so don't even try. They should also introduce Hebrew for Christians cos Christians in Nigeria have no business or need to learn Arabic. The agenda is clear, we r not fooled by this theory that it is just a language, this policy must be reversed immediately so peace can reign 6 Likes 1 Share |

Keep the flag flying Tboss and Debie...seems tboss has a lot of bitter haters on Nairaland. Their hatred will only consume them. Tboss surely has a lot of fans maybe not on this forum, afterall, she kept on getting enough votes to get to the top 3. |

How can anyone believe this kind of fairy tale. It is clear that the ease with which they hoodwinked Nigerians in 2015 has them believing we are daft in this country. This is an attempt to cover up the truth by the govt. The King that sent a dog to catch the thieves in the town has now seen that the kingmakers are the worst thieves. Just wondering why the original news that the APC senator was the owner did not make front page quoting the source, but when it was the PDP people accused whether from palasa source, it quickly made front page. When he was accused, it did not make front page, but when he claimed to be innocent, it quickly made front page Just Wondering... 2 Likes |

Good move! She should package herself properly to utilise her fame to the maximum. She is a star already. |

Sahara reporters are beginning to sound like vindictive storytellers available for hire to the highest bidder. Anonymous sources everywhere could easily be the figment of one's imagination. Nobody wants to waste time and resources investigating allegations only to find out at the end of the day that they are baseless. I understand that SR are trying to expose corrupt individuals, and some commendation should be given to them. However, there seems a lot of bias in the selection of the individuals they target. Corruption by politicians is commonplace and widespread, SR should go after them all if they wish to be credible. But as it is, they sound like attack dogs doing the bidding of their manipulative masters. 1 Like |

Since when did the Chairman of a bank become the person running a bank? smh Op...the MD/CEO is the person that runs the bank |

so we are back to dependence on oil till the next time the price crashes us into recession again. No meaningful programme implemented by govt to reduce dependence on oil...just rhetorics. This recession is a crisis to warn the govt and make us prepare for the period when oil will no longer be a globally valuable product, but there is little indication that we learnt anything. I wonder what will happen in this country when oil loses its value... anyone with insight can surely see it will inevitably happen soon. |

from the comments the shop owner made, where he said the salesboy was injured cos he tried to hold on to the goods and the car while they drove away with the goods and the scuffle that ensued, it is clear that the salesboy followed the man to the car but on getting there, another man had the engine running and attempted to move quickly as soon as the goods were in the car. that's the only way the sales boy would be close enough to fight and hang on to the moving car thereby injuring himself. the distance from the shop to the road is too far for the salesboy to reach the car and struggle if the car engine was already kept running when the goods were carried to the car. the salesboy must be been close by. read the account of the shop owner where he said his sales boy was badly injured cos he tried to hold on to the car and was dragged by the car 1 Like |

Like someone said earlier, was there actually N2m in the car to pay? I doubt it, cos if it was in the car, he would have simply brought it out and paid the boy rather than allowing a mob to attack him. 2 Likes |

From this outburst, it is abundantly clear that he never hoped to win but was acting out the script of his sponsors to scuttle PDP's campaign. |

People r just looking for any reason to vilify this man. They say he bought a cheap car...why r people complaining? They should praise him for not being extravagant . Did he ever claim that the car was N180 million? Does it mean he must not be proud of his new acquisition and display it cos its cheap? We as a people really need to change our mindset. We encourage politicians to steal and then turnaround and accuse them. Sahara reporters should focus on being professional and expose real clogs to the country's progress. They should stop being personal and petty. 2 Likes 1 Share |

this is what breeds corruption cos after taking the job, they indulge in various corrupt practises at the school to survive. let's be honest, with fuel at 145/ltr that amount can barely take care of transportation in a month. I've always said that the structures in place foster corruption sort out the structure first and then it will be easier to get rid of corruption. fighting corruption directly will not work. |

why is Jonathan being stalked by APC and their cronies on social media...haba! Today we hear Jonathan had lunch, he went to party, he took pictures with friends or his wife applied make up. He is a happy man without worries and nothing will happen to him. They should focus on solving the countries numerous problems. Person wey dey find work don see work! face am! |

why is the bail in dollars anyway? is that our currency? n how can he return money that he explained was received for campaign purposes and has been duly disbursed...abi was there no campaign? This is just victimisation because he is a very vocal opposition. 1 Like 1 Share |

how will these loans be repaid? The repayment explanation is vague at best. We need a detailed repayment plan as we cannot rely on oil proceeds anymore. Or is it a case of subsequent governments headache? |

they should not leave ICC. How will african leaders not be targeted when they r the least capable of ensuring thier citizens well being. If african leaders prove they can make the right decisions to eliminate hunger and suffering experienced by thier citizens maybe the focus on them will reduce 1 Like |

This new govt should respect the judiciary if not we r in trouble. The court is the last hope of the common man. If a case has been filed in court, then the status quo remains until judgement is passed. So MTN cannot be disrupted until the case is determined in court. Anyone that is supporting this govt wanton disregard for the judiciary, should not complain when you or someone close to you is treated unfairly and the courts are powerless to do anything. The dragon that we are supporting to unleash now will soon consume us all. A word is enough for the wise 5 Likes 1 Share |

OP...it depends on how u go about it. I have never had to wait for a reply. As soon as i ask, i get a yes or a no, n i'm done. That is because i usually spend some time casually relating with the person n in the process via body language etc, i can pretty much tell which way she is leaning, so by the time i ask, that is if we have not already stared dating sef without asking, but if i do ask it is usually yes. So first get friendly with her and u wont have to wait...except she's not that into u. In which case, u need to upgrade... |

I think Ivory Coast should also get involved in the fight against Ebola in their neighbouring countries and actively assist where they can. Cos if they just sit back and think they can protect their citizens and block out the other countries where Ebola is raging uncontrollably....then sorry, it's just a matter of time... |

Thanks OP Please where in Lagos can this pressure test be done (preferably around yaba) n how much does it generally cost. Thanks |

It is because they are cowards that they wear army uniforms as a disguise to move around and perpetrate evil. If they are fearless religous revolutionaries/fanatics that they make out to be in the shakau videos, let them show themselves boldly, instead of hiding in military uniforms and under the cover of civilians, women and children. If they believe they are fighting a righteous cause, they should come out boldly, let's see if our military boys would not use them to prepare kilishi/suya UP GEJ 2019 2 Likes 1 Share |
