Canada is a very nice and cool country.things re very cheap here in terms of there dollar.

CBSA did not expect you to carry ur schl fees for hand.infact for intl student the schl fee,they believe wire transfer will be okay.as for me my schl fee is 17000 dollars and i paid just 1000dollars here.as for accomodation,just tell them u will staying in an hotel pending u will get ur accomodation or go to kijiji.ca to check short rentals and there contact.as far as airline is concern,i used an agent who help me secure d ticket.for student it is one way ,in the sense that it is not return ticket.from lagos to italy (ROME) stop over for 3hrs then down to toronto.please dont be scared,u will surely be allowed to enter @ the POE.Trust me

i used alitalia and it cost just 205k .i paid for one way ooooooooo

Finally arrived canada on saturday.such a long distance by thank GOD for journey mercy.canada is just a nice place to be with good and friendly people,nice and conducive environment,computerised transportation system that is second to none,no power failure,free internet facility,awesome weather,cheap things like food items.There is no problem at all at the port of entry,pls dont carry too much money on you cos i was questioned concerning the money i carried (4000 dollars).try arrange accomodation cos u will be asked that where re u going to stay in canada.I pray that God will grant everyone of us still awaiting visa our heart desire.amen

I really appreciate ur effort u av contributed in the forum,may God continue to bless and guide u.concerning the accomodation,am going to stay with my uncle for some time before I get a my own place.how will explain these to them because during the filling of study permit questionaire,it was asked that do you know anybdy in canada but the answer was obviously "NO".

I want to ask that the time your package was sent by CDHC,which forms or letters been attached apart from your e-passport dat was stamped wt TRV.cos for me I was given only the letter of intro to show (CBSA) and my e-passport been stamped.

Am sorry that I av been off forum for some time.I av been so busy trying to put one or two things in order.I want to ask those that have more experience dat is "bank statement of sponser still needed at the port of entry".what re d likely question bin ask @ POE.
I pray dat for all of those still waiting for medical call up,will receive their med instr soonest,those dat av done their med,there shall be no complication,crisis,mixed up and no delay and very soon visa will arrive safely without any complex conditions

Yes it was opened,dats wat u will give to the medical practitional together with the photocopy of ur e-passport.no form to fill,dey will fill the form for u while asking question abt ur medical history.all is well

Am still here,av not erd anytin from dem.But am not bothered cos God said write ur plan plainly and engrave it on tablet so dat others may see,though it may TARRY ,but it will surely come to pass.I will get my study permit vry vry soon by the grace of GOD.my brother keep cool it is the LORD doing and HE is marvelous on our side.

Just to inform anyone in the house that applied for NDDC scholarship that the list is out and screening exercise starts tomorrow in portharcourt.I praise the name of the LORD cos I was shortlisted.dats why I use to say that our GOD is a prayer answering and not prayer storing GOD.young lion do suffer hunger but those that seek GOD will never lack any good thing.

A friend of mine called me yesterday saying CDHC had given him medical instruction.He submitted his package on may 4th.I just want to use this to encourage all sept hopeful that delay is not denial.put ur trust in God and u will neva be put to shame.

I did my medical in one of designated hospital by CDHC in yaba (Dr marien hospital) at no 7 montgomery road yaba.I paid 30k altogether.the document u re going there wt will be sent to u by CDHC.after ur medical the result will be sent to paris in france for verification,after that the result will be sent from france to CDHC.

d doctor collected our house address and fone no and she said she will contact us incase there is any malady and treatment will be done before sending the result to paris.

I did my medicals on thursday and it went thus:
1. 15mins conversation with the doctor about my medical history
2. Blood,urine and eye test.
3. Blood pressure was measured and i was told to remove my cloth and trouser,remaining boxers for the doctor to feel my body if there is any pain at all.
4. Then i was given another form to go to one hospital in oshodi for digital xray.dats all
I paid additional 3k making 30k altogether.i met a guy and a lady for same purpose but dey said na maple den use.dey said they have spent much money ooo but i told them dat i package it myself with God on my side.d doctor told me dat as far as student is concern now,dey will not waste time again in giving d report.i pray that i will never have any crisis,complication or mixed up in my report for Jesus has given me power and authority over sickness and unclean spirit,scorpions and serpent and my adversaries (medical practioner,consular and VO) and nothing shall by any means hurt me.i decree that we re going to have more medicals invitee's soonest and at the end of everything our study permit visa will be granted in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST of NAZARETH. AMEN
